Setting

  • 4:21pm
When the wind begins to howl
And the rain does not cease for five days
When the brightest day of summer, plunges into night
The power of Arendiel will be gone from sight

But who so dares to travel on, search for its might
Will be granted a clue from each Kingdom
Though the victor will remain unknown

Are you the one to wield Arendiel?
Does your power lie with Helos?
Or are you but in aid in their quest?

Hurry on and do not tarry
For you have until the next eclipse

    Fail to find Arendiel...
And all four kingdoms will yield to darkness

Will you help in this quest? What is your place? Or will you race against the fellowship to help Rashkul bring darkness?

A prophecy was told long ago that the mighty sword Arendiel, symbol of the power of the four kingdoms, would disappear without a trace. The sword had been used the first time the darkness had come, uniting the four kingdoms and races against one enemy. Only twice more was the sword ever used in the span of a thousand years, failed uprisings of those who still believed in the power of a long dead dark lord. During one of those occasions the shield of Helos was lost, the companion of Arendiel.

The Sword rotates between each Kingdom, staying 100 years in each. A thousand years have passed without major incident, and now during a dark stormy day long ago foretold, Arendiel has disappeared from the Kingdom of Humans.

Now mysteriously all across the four Kingdoms; Human, Elves, Dwarfs, and Dragonkin, a mark of truth has shown upon two subjects of each. The mark is an 'x' between their thumb and forefinger. The Prophecy is starting. Their are rumors of Rashkul, the outcast leader from the West, is starting to amass an army. Any with the mark could be the one to wield Arendiel against Rashkul, and any of them could be the bearer of Helos. There's no way to know without going through the kingdoms to look for the clues left by the Prophet, and after that, they must come together against Rashkul, no matter who so wield Arendiel and Helos.

This is an LOTR/King Arthur inspired RP. I'm hoping to find some willing peeps who wouldn't mind going on a quest!
