Snow shook River's hand, Snow's hand is a little cold to the touch. "Nice to meet you River." She points over at Blaise, "That is my friend Blaise. He does not like to shake hands, because his extreme body heat tends to burn people."
Blaise looks over at River and waves, "Sup, my name is Blaise."
"Nice to meet you, Blaise" River smiles. Kazimir slithered out of her sleeve. "Kaz says hi as well"
Blaise looks over at Kaz on her shoulder. "Hey, Kaz."
Kaz sticks his tongue out again. "He's a very friendly little guy"
Snow giggles, "I can see that. He is very cool looking." Snow looks back at River, "So what kind of special thing can you do?"
"I can use simple magic, and talk to this little guy" I held Kazimir up. "He likes the both of you"
"That is so cool! I can talk to other foxes. I can also control ice and snow and, as you saw in your room, can change into an arctic fox for as long as I want." Snow demonstrated her fox form and changed into an arctic fox and rubbed against her leg.
"Aww you're so cute" I said, looking down. "That's really cool as well"
Snow yipped in her Fox form then did a backflip changing into her human form and landing on her two legs easily, her tail swishing happily. "Thanks, it is helpful for when I want to sneak up on people and pull pranks on them."
Blaise looked over and said, "The more she likes someone the less she pulls pranks on them, down too about once a day."
"Cool! I like playing pranks as well" I exclaimed. "It's so fun!"
Snow started to jump up and down like a jackhammer. "I know right! This is one of my favorite pranks." As she said that a pile of snow fell on top of Blaise. It stayed their for a while before Blaise's Body heat caused the snow to evaporate.
I laughed. "I like to place Kaz near unsuspecting people and since most people are terrified of snakes, their reactions are the best"
Snow giggled, "I am sure it is. However, that kind of thing does not work on Blaise as he can sense the heat signature of any nearby creature, even if they are cold blooded. He can sense and recognize a person's heat signature from about ten feet away from him."
"Really? That's cool, Blaise!" I commented.
Blaise shrugged, "It definitely helped me avoid surprise punches from behind from bullies at my old school."
"Bullies are dumb" River said recalling memories of middle school. She looked at the clock. "Class should be starting soon" She took a seat.
Blaise chuckled a bit, "You are telling me. Most of the bullies that picked on me were actually weaker than me, in both strength and vocabulary. Each time they said something mean to me I just countered it and it shut them up for a while." Blaise said still in his seat.
