"You can sit wherever" She smiled at him.
"Thanks." He takes a seat next to her, or whatever seat was closest to her. "The name is Lance, by the way. Lance Ember."
Blaise looked over at Lance, "Hey Lance, I am Blaise."
"Hey, Blaise. So.... What am I doing?" He gazes around the room, looking for a hint of what to do.
"We are righting down 5 rules from the textbook, here you can borrow mine." Blaise slids his text book over to Lance, "Turn your five rules over to the teacher when you are done."
"Okay, then..." He writes down five rules he randomly picked, also drawing visuals on the side of each rule to clarify them, using himself as the base of the 'Rule Breaker'. Once he's finished, which takes all around 2 minutes, he turns the paper to the teacher, then goes back to his seat.
Hana runs up to Mr Grey and turns her paper in.
Kazimir slithers down River's arm and goes to greet Lance.
"Uhhh..... Hello?" He greets the creature nervously, tossing a fireball into his hand, then turning it into a fire cube.
Blaise notices the fire Lance created, "Nice to see another fire user here." Blaise formed a fireball in his hand, the fireball sent out a nearly invisible orange strand to the fire cube connecting them. "When my fire is close to another it connects itself to it and shares it's power with the other fire, which can make them bigger and hotter." Blaise then extinguished his fireball discounting the strand to the fire cube.
"What the-?!" He seems shocked by the sudden extinguishment, jumping back.
Blaise looked at him, "I just put out my fire, I cannot control other people's fire and extinguish them, so you do not have to worry about that."
Kazimir stared at Lance, as if he was saying hi. He then slithered over to Hana.
Hana shrinks back a bit, not expecting Kazimir to do so. She's obviously a bit scared.
Kazimir sticks his tongue at her. "He's telling you that you don't have to be afraid." River translated. "And he's right. Kaz is a very friendly snake. He won't hurt you." Kazimir slithered up a little closer to Hana.
Hana slides back in her seat a little. "Sorry, I just don't like being looked at by snakes.." Her attitude had changed entirely from cheerful to nervous.
River strokes Kaz. "I'm sorry Kazimir scared you, Hana"
