Blaise shrugs, "I have always found better, and cheaper, to go and kill your own food. Plus you would not believe the cost of fireproof clothes, which is why I sometimes go after bounties."
"Oh, I see." Gracie leans back in her chair.

Unbeknownst to her, Hihi had left her crystal ball and was flying towards the food area in search of cookies. Hihi was an adorable little creature. She had pale green skin, and her cheeks were blushed a darker shade of the color. She had green eyes and a hardly visible mouth. Her arms didn't have any hands, and she seemingly had a short wavy hairstyle. She wore a green floor length dress and had no legs. She was just a baby, so she looked very toylike. She set out to find some cookies. Nobody paid much mind to her.
Blaise sense's the fairy's heat signature moving towards the cookies. He looks over but does not see anything. He shrugs it off and says, "I am going to go and grab a cup of water." He gets up and walks over to the food area.
"Hihi!!" The young fairy cries triumphantly as she steals a cookie. Unfortunately, she forgets that she can be seen by anyone outside of her crystal ball, and being seen is not good. A kitchen staff sees her and tries wrangling the cookie away, quickly snatching it from her trip. Hihi then begins shouting "Hihi" angrily at the staff member, who walks away, figuring Hihi isn't a huge threat. Hihi steals another cookie, being stealthy this time, and somehow manages to begin carrying the cookie (which was the size of her entire body) across the room. The cookie increased her visibility.
Blaise hears the shout as he grabbed a cup of water and looked over to see a small fairy carrying a cookie, that was as big as her body, back to their table and says to himself, "That must be why Gracie was so scared when her crystal ball fell earlier." He shrugged and started to head back to their table with a cup of water in his hand, that slowly started to heat up from his body heat.
((I am going to bed talk to you tomorrow.))
((Okay))

Gracie sees Hihi flying and has a panicky moment. "I gotta go, I forgot something in our room!!" She runs outside with no further explanation, grabbing her backpack.
((I am back, but I have a band concert later today so I will try to respond as much as I can.))
Blaise sees Gracie dash off. He looked in her direction for a few moments then shrugged and sat back at their table, "So what was that about?" Blaise asks drinking some of his now steaming cup of water.
((Apologies for the late response, the RPR was down. Also, apologies for a wall of text.))

"I'm not sure," Kate says. "Maybe I should go after her?"

Meanwhile, Gracie was hiding behind a tree, taking her Apprentice Tap out of her backpack. She couldn't just run up to Hihi and grab her, that'd be suspicious. "Darn her love of cookies.." She mutters.

The Tap was a light pink object, similar in size to a can of tuna. The edges were rounded, and there was a gold band around the middle. On the top of it were 8 buttons, each a unique color. In the center, there was a music note on a button. Gracie pressed the button, and immediately multiple rays of light green light shot out. The Tap spun around and floated in the air as a song began to play. The light rays morphed into a light green dress and witch hat. Gracie grabbed the dress and pulled it over her head. Some spherical dark green earrings popped onto her ears, as a circle of tiny music notes slid down her legs to cause boots to appear. Two more circles did the same on her arms to cause gloves to appear. She pulled the hat onto her head. "Pretty Witchy Gracie-chi!" She said hurriedly to finish the sequence, the Tap now resting on her chest and giving off a last burst of light as the song ended. She then pressed 4 of the buttons on the Tap in a certain order, playing a few musical notes. The Tap shot out a burst of light that became a broom. Gracie immediately grabbed and boarded to find a more hidden location to use magic in.

After a moment of fruitless search, she returned to being behind the tree.
((It is fine, I had a concert so It did not really bother me, also I have homework to work on, so I will chat when I can.))
Blaise gets up after finishing his water, "I am going to go and walk around some, chat with you later Kate." Blaise leaves in the same direction of Gracie and senses her heat signature from behind a tree. 'Wonder what she is up to?' he thought to himself. He leaned up against the tree like he did not notice her and started eavesdropping on what she is doing.
((Alrighty))

Gracie presses 4 buttons on her Tap, playing the notes Do, Mi, So, and Do in succession. A burst of light shot out from the Tap and morphed into her Poron, or magic wand. It looked a lot like a clear tube half-filled with multicolored spheres, with a pink sphere on each end. Gracie catches it.

"Parpara Para Pinkopi-" She starts as she twirls the Poron around in her fingers before dropping it. "Darn it! Why do I always drop it?! Oh well.. I should just stick to waving this thing around, it seems." Gracie waves the Poron around. "Parpara Para Pinkopinko Pa!" She says, a circle of light green music notes appearing around the end of the wand Gracie wasn't holding. "Bring Hihi here!" She says, the circle flying off towards the building. A sphere faded from her wand. The circle soon returned with Hihi stuck in the middle, yelping in protest.

Gracie carefully allows Hihi to fall on her open palm as the circle disappears. "Hihi, you shouldn't be out flying! Kate thinks I'm psychic like her and the others, and I'm pretty sure that's what the school has on file too. Who knows what'd happen if they found out I'm a witch apprentice?"

"Hihi..?" Hihi seems to ask. "I'll either be expelled or turn into a Witch Frog, and that's not good. Now.. If you go back into your crystal ball, I'll let you have as many cookies as you want after school." Gracie held up her backpack, and Hihi flew into the crystal ball on the zipper. She was now invisible to anyone not a Witch Apprentice or a witch.

"Nice! We better get back to breakfast, Kate and Blaise might get worried." Gracie takes a few steps out from behind the tree, reaching for the center button on her Tap, then sees Blaise. She tries her best to hide the wide-eyed horror on her face. How much had he heard?
As soon as Blaise leaned up against the tree he heard Gracie say some words and heard what sounded like musical notes. He waited a few minutes and saw the fairy from earlier come out of the building inside a circle of green energy. 'So that is why she left in a hurry, she did not want anyone to know about her fairy.' Blaise listend for a bit longer and heard her say that she was a witch apprentice. 'So she wants to hide the fact that she is a witch. I can understand that, I also thought it would be best to hide my powers.' Once he finished thinking, he heard Gracie come around from behind the tree, as soon as she saw him he saw her expression change. "Hi," he says waving his hand, "I was in the same boat as you once, wanted to hide my powers and my inhuman features. I mean my eyes are those of a birds so I would always wear sunglasses to hide that fact. The only problem is that you create a barrier around you, blocking out the world and missing the opportunity to make real friends. Real friends will not care whether you are a witch apprentice or not. Real friends will have your back no matter what. Once I should people what I could do, all but one left. She stayed by my side ever since. She also had power, she was able to control ice and snow. When I got here she messaged me and told me that she got accepted into another magic school in a diffrent country." Blaise stopped leaning against the tree and strarted to head back, but looked back at Gracie and said, "Do not keep the barrier up bring it down and show your true self to the world like I did." With that he headed back to their table.
Gracie hits the center button on her Tap, and her Apprentice Uniform disappears and is replaced with her usual outfit. The Tap drops to the ground as Gracie sits against the tree. She was surprised and relieved to see she hadn't become a Witch Frog after being called out for being an apprentice. Could it be because she wasn't a full-fledged witch? Whatever the reason, she knew she had to be more careful. She walked back to the building, nearly forgetting about her Tap.

"Welcome back, guys," Kate says when the two return.
Blaise waves at Kate, "Hey." He sits down in his chair crossing his arms, "So what have you been doing since we left?" Blaise says looking over at Kate.
"Meh, nothing much. Mainly playing my 3DS and wondering what class'll be like."
Blaise nods, "My first class is magitech, never heard of it, but I figured I would give it a try. What about you guys?"
"Cooking. I'm really excited about it!" Kate chirps.

"Ability control, but I'm not really looking forward to it," Gracie says.

This is met with with a slightly confused remark from Kate. "Why not?"

Gracie glances at Blaise for a moment. "No reason, really, I just don't want to do it. It sounds hard."
Blaise nods, "I did not get ability control as I am very experienced with my powers, as you guys have seen." He leans on his chair, "Their is another power I have, which is to sense and recognize a persons heat signiture, it only works in a 15 feet radius though."
"Ah, really? I've got somethin' similar. I can set up a kind of thing where if someone walks nearby, I immediately know. It's really tiring, though, since it takes up a lot of energy," Kate explains.

"What's a heat signature?" Gracie asks, confused.
"Cool," Blaise says towards Kate, "My ability does not cost any of my energy it is just continually activated." He looks over at Gracie, "A heat signature is basically the heat an object or a person gives off, it is kind of like how snakes see deep under ground."
