The Glass Symposium

The grand doors to The Glass Symposium have finally opened. One hold's the breath in excitement and expectation.

After receiving a personal invitation from... The Founder... on offer that was to good to refuse, much too tempting to turn it down, Tus walks just one step in and squeaks a very shy "hi"

This is an OOC group. You are greeted upon entering the symposium with the sight of a lone dog dragging its butt across the floor.

If I could lend you sleep I would. Spent half of today sleeping because last night my cat wouldn't stop meowing at my bedroom door.

Aww, sorry to hear about that. I wouldn't be able to function at all with that amount of sleep.. x_x

And Itheyn, I don't have that problem... they learned that if they tear up the carpet outside my door they will be let in... so I have an open door policy.. >_<

Before my gf lived with me I had a similar policy. But my developmentally disabled sibling has a lack of regard for personal possessions and space that I'd rather not subject her to. So we keep the door locked, with him inside.

You'd think that its a problem because the litter box is outside the room, but it isn't. Half the time one of us goes to let him out he just brushes against the door and stares at us expectantly. For food.

And we can't give him free extra food because he needs a special diet. So the night is filled with "MEOW, MEOW, meow? ...Mrraw MRRAW MAAAOW MEOW"

EDIT: I was meaning to ask two things and since this currently is everyone's favorite thread I'ma ask here.

1. Is it ok if I change Tara's design a bit? I know its my character but I wanted to give you guys a heads up before I did so, since I'm mid-rp with her. Its not much, just the nature of her coif. I think it'd be a bit more like an aventail when I'm done but idk we'll see.

2. Lyssa and I have been talking about something specific; minecraft rp. I actually have never rped in game and I have no intentions of doing so, but we've talked about stories in that setting before and its been rather fun. It'd have certain restrictions the actual game doesn't have but would essentially be playing up the fantastical elements of the game. Does that sound interesting at all? I'm probably gonna start a closed rp with her about it anyway, but I'm wondering if anyone else likes the idea.

Sounds an interesting idea.
I have not played game rp's but sounds exciting to extrapolate elements and settings from that.

I don't know Lyssa but by what I read in your other closed RP sounds a great RP time is cooking up already.

Also I talked to Lyssa about it and she said she'd actually prefer to have it as one big thread. Might not start it for a little while though.

I haven't played minecraft, so I'm not sure if that would affect my rp ability as far as that game goes. Probably.

I'd have to talk with her about it but since Minecraft is intentionally generic we've already taken liberties <<'. When it comes to the game itself there isn't too much to memorize, but if you're uncomfortable with it I won't try to strong-arm you into it.
