Sorry about vanishing again y’all. Had to deal with the fall and now the aftermath of a nasty breakup with my long-time boyfriend, so I’ve been very uninspired and antisocial haha

Aww man, that sucks! Sorry to hear about that... I hope you get a lot of pumpkin and apple pie this Thanksgiving... :S And hugs!
Take your time strawberry. I second Beetlebelle's wishes!

As for the rest of you guys... well, I'd really like it if one of you guys posted. Obv. no pressure on thanksgiving itself but I think our thread is dying.
I'll post something by tonight or tomorrow!
Oh man I'm sorry for not posting, the day after thanksgiving I got suuuuper sick. Like, sleeping on the bathroom floor moaning kind of sick... :/ I'll post when I feel more up to it. I'm sorry that our RP's are fading again. :(
Its aight. I may or may not already be writing up a new OP for some thing random. We'll see if I actually finish it xD
I replied in Reclamation of Aftbide

I am thinking of having Merthyr notice/recognize Kerik as the guard who dragged him into the tavern?
I'd like to say yes, but its chronologically impossible. By the time Merthyr was taken into the tavern Kerik was already captured by the Knights of the People. Sorry. I don't actually think they ever saw the other's face before. What's certain is that Tom/Zafira have a very conspicuous appearance though!

I replied too. Sorry for the slowness, finally found work but its taken up a lot of time lately. I intend to revive Swells too, I just don't have much creative energy to manage a time skip.
This is probably the happiest Iskra has been in years, she's going to be so smug for literally forever.

I thought you might like a twist of fates like that

the hunter becomes hunted
the prey becomes hunter

let's see how the reverse roles turn out after all...
The dynamic of their relationship is wonderful, I literally burst into laughter reading your response.

I was re-reading Pentre's bio and started laughing again when "passing judgement" was included in his likes. I imagine Pentre sentencing someone to death with the most pleased smile on his face. Not even smug, just absolutely happy. Goes skipping past the gallows whistling showtunes.

Glad it put a smile on your face

That would be spot on a satisfied happy "doing my job proudly" attitude
so far... poor Grum is having a hard time with Taff

He is stuck in Taff's scrawny body, with a soft squeakish voice, lack of muscles... more a pushover than a fearsome warrior and to make matters worse, Taff's body hosts magic too.

I do not put it out of possibility he accidentally causes natural disasters in line with his mood swings, tremors or earthquakes, fallen trees, blast of wind, a blizzard, accidental fires... who knows.
So from the looks of it the town of Aftbide is having two zombie based events happening at the same time?
well not quite...

In Aftbide town itself, there is a lych aka your character there.

Where Grum and Taff are, not sure exactly where, somewhere in the wilderness/forest, there are Grum's undead crew crawling out of woodwork on the loose.

These zombies are possible consequence / aftermath of Grum's black magic trick to bring that wraith.

It is most fortunate your character can command the undead, because right now Taff the warlock is split, magical body is hosting Grum... and his powerful mind is stuck in Grum's muscular body. This leaves Taff with enough work cut out to deal with undead as well
You are correct, though Tusitala's observations hold truths as well. In reality the situation's a bit more complex but if I told you all of it now that'd ruin the surprise.

Inc zombie wars?
Again partly true but not quite

My character can't properly control the "undead" at least not in the way of typical zombies. As such a being that it already "living" in some form or another, it has to have a dead body to use as a host. It's much more like that of a puppeteer.

The actual creatures created are wildly different to that of zombies and have more of a collective mind than the typical undead.
For reference my characters version of the undead look like this, (an old creature design of mine, drawn by someone else.)

Iskra after processing’s everything Pentre just said

She’s gonna have to mentally recover from the shock of that. Or at the very least take her aggression out on someone else later.
Strawberry are you playing "the bandits" NPCs?
