Staring upon the grey lifeless world, the metallic god, Ryduvu, did pace about the plaza of his heavenly home. He was troubled by the sight of this world, so featureless and plain. A god of form and function, but obsessed of the fey spark of creativity known as innovation, Ryduvu was bothered by the world. It was lacking in anything to interest him from where he stood. He decided upon descending to the earth itself, and getting a close look. He believe wholly that he could do something to appease his boredom with the grey ball they had been gifted by the cosmos, he needed only look closer.
And so did Ryduvu become the first god to descend to the earth.
So Ryduvu descended from the celestial cliffs, and to the grey globe itself. His paws alighted gently, disrupting the dust of the place. His sleek body moved in stride, as he walked the world itself. And what he found gave him no reprieve from his boredom of this place. He felt the earth beneath him and found it did not call to him in any way, it had nothing to give forth but more grey rock and dirt. Ryduvu's heart sank, for this was a deeply saddening thing. The world for him and his fellow gods was empty.
He sat in the dust, dirtying his flank, resting his head upon his fist. The god did mediate this way, searching for a spark of inspiration to guide him to what this world needed.
He looked out over the landscape, and then his mind caught that fey fleeting spark. As his eyes found a single hair-width crack in the surface of the world.
It was the flatness that bothered him, the emptiness, this world needed forms to balance the flat plain, variation. And things of value to balance the worthless grey, things that would sparkle, shine, and capture the imagination of beings like himself.
Ryduvu set out once more, his strides longer as he followed the meandering crack in the earth. Certainly, his fellow divines would think him mad, with his canter so broken and swaying, following a single tiny crack.";

Watching the metal god descend to the lifeless grey lump of a planet, Aurora felt the beginnings of interest stir within her. She loved her heavenly realm and all it had to offer; such that even thinking about lowering herself to the heap of rock was enough to stir her old grievances. Still, there must be some reason Ryduvu went down to investigate. She must keep an eye on him--there was no telling what trouble he could get into. And thus, the goddess of storms and lightning, followed behind Ryduvu, watching to see what he did.
But she quickly grew tired of his running. "Seems to me, that a tiger-butt like you would have better things to do than run to nowhere." She appeared behind him in her suit of armor. Squiggly lines not yet depicted as "water" decorated her helm and breastplate, while she toyed with a poisoned dagger, flipping it into the air and catching it again. "So my question is this: what does a fledgling god think he can accomplish with this worthless piece of rock?"

Starvy had his nose stuck up in a book from his satchel. Skin like that of a corpse, with his back hair in a mess. His gaze veered from the page when he noticed two gods had rudely abandoned him while he had been reading a book.
So the pale skinned god of starvation headed to the earth. Once he arrived he took on the form of an ant and skittered after the two. A rather pale colored ant that was only slighltly bigger than average. He regarded this barren wasteland with no care, but he really just wanted to keep up with the others. And wonder why another god was following a rather tiny crack he could almost fall in.

Dorsarian watched the three, soon following and hearing the comment "Can't you see? He's following destiny's threads. I should not be here for now but I must watch the threads to make sure all is well." He followed them, filling in the map he carried, knowing it would be of use to him some day. The god's appearance that of a young man "We definitely will have work to do soon, and I have so much to fill in."
The young god hid away his map and began following more attentively.

Ryduvu's stride could not be faltered by interruption, even by his sibling gods. He merely looked unto them, and spake gently, "It is not to no where I run. This world requires I do this." His gaze returned to that of the crack, and that of the path he now followed. The crack was growing, more cracks in this earth joined it. "This world, it is too uniform. Too formless. Too function-less. It bothers me as it stands." Ryduvu's feline gait carried his far, to the that point which is not lost by the touch of the gods.
They it lay around then, a point from which tiny cracks spread in all directions. So many there were, as the god could see this was the seam of the world they had been entrusted. It was the point where all earth joined as one. Ryduvu stood, like a shining statue as he pressed his hands to the crack, and felt along it. His touch was gentle and questing as he felt the earth about the crack itself. "Sister Aurora...I require that dagger. Wouldst you loan it to me for a moment?"

Surprise and annoyance crossed her face. "Very well, but do not forget by whose help you are about to undertake this thing." She glanced at Dorsarian. "You may want to step back, I have no idea what brother Ryduvu is about to try." She scooped up the ant as she handed her poisoned dagger over to Ryduvu, hilt first. Her only words of advice were: "Try not to cut yourself."
Starvy chitters loudly upon being scooped up. He skitters around in her hands wildly.
Ryduvu considered the dagger in his hand a moment, before he addressed them once more. "This world, deserves to have treasures within it." And then, without hesitation, the metal god plunged the dagger into his other arm and carved it up his forearm, bleeding out a dazzling quicksilver that flowed forth in all forms of metallic colors.
He poured this own into the cracks, and they fled down them into the depths of the earth and spread through it like a river, soaking into stone down to the very core of the realm itself. There, it hardened fast, clotting rapidly within the cold bosom of the earth itself. This became the treasured metals of this world, rich in their potential and limitless in their functions.
Even the poison of the dagger was incorporated, becoming the multicolored-green stone whose powdered form is the most toxic of all poisons, was named Aurolite for the goddess that lent Ryduvu the dagger.
Ryduvu looked to his bleeding arm, knowing it would take care to properly work once more. His contribution to this creation of this world, after this point, would be lacking. But he now moved once more...there was one final task to do.
He reached to his skin, as the haft of a might hammer appeared from him. He drew forth the mighty tool crafted of his own metallic flesh, and took a careful aim...Before Ryduvu strike that center, that eye of the realm's earth with a blow that used all of his ultimate strength.
The earth trembled at the blow, as the cracks spreading from the land widened. Piece of land soared towards the sky as others fell to the abyss, seams ripped open and others rushed closed, massive valleys formed in the wake of the trememdous strike. The principle drop of Ryduvu's sacrifice had hardened a shining rod of metal, piercing the spot as the land was split. The entire uniform face of the grey world was changed in that instant, and it's still changing with every tremor. As the world struggles fruitlessly to settle into uniformity once more. But it never shall, not while the Principle Sacrifice still stays embedded in the earth.
And Ryduvu, poison glistening in his veins and strength used for the moment, collapsed onto his own tool, spent.

Aurora watched in awe as the ground beneath her trembled and wrenched itself apart. Mountains formed valleys, and ravines were left. She set the ant down the moment the earth beneath her ceased its lurchings and then transformed into a cloud. Using the currents of the wind, now whistling through cracks and crevices, she began to rise up and up until she could spy out the lay of the land.
It was so beautiful, even in its barrenness that tears collected in her eyes and began to spill over. The first rain began to fall. Oceans began to form and then the ravines and trenches, so ugly and naked at first look, began filling up with water until rivers and streams began to flow. At last Aurora's tears stopped and she looked around her in awe.

The ant changed back to human, then went back to reading his books, mumbling. ''Showoffs.'' He grumbles, being that a god of starvation had yet to figure out what he could help with....
Dorsarian clapped "One thread has come about and is continued." The god of destiny seemed to read the air, his hand also running up and down the air "Ahh, yes, destiny is calling." He shifted and climbed along the rocks, watching for his chance to help with formation.
And lo as the rain did fall and the earth gave shape, a silvery mist came forth from the heavens, the mist settled upon the top of a mountain soon giving form to shape of a young woman. She looked around at the beautiful new world. Giving a short smile down to the fellow new god Dorsarian. Letala slid a harp from within her elaborate dressing. Made of an heavenly looking gold and ivory.
Letala looked forth upon the land and slowly began to play a slow sad tune upon the world. a golden mist slowly began to creep out of her harp, her finger gaining momentum as the golden mist slowly changed colors, dancing through out the air. As the tune grew and grew it beauty and passion, the mist soon spread across the world, It would do nothing now. It was the future spirits of life that would soon be created, now waiting for a home.

Aeriannox gazed down at changes from her domain, interest drawn by the sudden alteration to the world brought about by Ryduvu. Wasting time with such a place was all well and good for him, but was ruining the barren beauty it once had really necessary as well? Although it didn't show on her face, she was scowling at the lumpiness given to the scenery as she descended from her heavenly realm, feet settling upon one of the freshly made rises of earth overlooking the Godly gathering.
Seeing Ryduvu on the ground as a result of what he'd done boosted her mood a bit, and sensing the poison dancing through his veins made her mouth quirk into a tiny smile for a moment. Reaching up, she plucked a long strand of black hair from her head. Giving it a casual toss, the hair sped toward the exhausted God, dissipating into a faint mist that could be easily be taken in unnoticed as it approached him. Although it had no hope of working most of the time on someone of Ryduvu's strength, with his current condition there was a chance of it working. If it did, he'd be feeling the effects for quite a while, most likely until Nox decided to remove it. If not, hopefully none of the other Gods had noticed her attempts to bestow one of their fellow deities with one of her "gifts".

Looks to Ryduvu and begins pulling on air "Let us not war among each other." He walked over, kneeling down to lift up the metal god from his place and onto his feet "How about you head back upto your domain, regain strength and then if anything else needs ddone you can see and return." He stretches a bit "Now now lady of disease, you can give life to the diseases of the world but not on annother diety, not now as it isn't time for wars between deities."
Letala had stayed atop the mountain for a moment. Watching the large pure new spirit curving and winding all over the land. She tied her harp unto her back, climbing down the mountain to meet the other fellow gods that had arrived so far.
Her light voice came through the air, soft spoken and slightly sweet. She stood by Dorsarian, nodding to the other that were in the area. She caught then end of it, about it not being time for war with deities. "I do think we have a bit on our plates as it is. Without a war breaking out on this sparkling new world."

Xyliar walked among them, unnoticed at first. She wore her usual red dress, the hood pulled up high over her face. She looked at them, her face visable, the signs of age causing creased lines along her mouth and forehead, jowls beginning to form. She didn't seem to have the same beauty as the other, instead she took a grandmotherly sort of look.
Her vermilion skin did not look well with the lines and wrinkles, but her eyes were bright and young, "What have the lot of you been up to?" She didn't have the refined speech of the others, instead sounded like a woman who didn't know quite what was going on.

Starvy was still reading his book, grumbling. Passionate, yes, but maybe it was mostly to the books he carried in a satchel. His multi-colored artistic armor swayed when he moved a bit to raise his visor and looked at Xyliar with his sunken in colorless eyes. ''Apparently giving life to rhis..Place.'' Squinting, his vision poor.
Seeing that they were attracting the attention of still more gods, Aurora descended from the sky in her cloud form. A fog settled briefly before she reclaimed her physical form:: that of a bald, older woman wearing armor. She gently picked up her poisoned dagger from its location in the ground, and sheathed it once more at her side; her armor now, could be described as having waves like the sea or the streams that burbled past them.
"You can blame Ryduvu," Aurora replied, "for starting this whole thing. I'm merely adding my own touches as I see fit. Plus I'm bored." She ran her hands over her bald head, wiping away droplets of water that had collected there. "What brings you all down here? Perhaps..." here her mouth twisted into an amused smile, "you too are bored and wish to try your hands at making something?"
For the moment she was satisfied and exhausted by what she had done and created. The smell and sound of water relaxing her enough that she was willing to be civil for the time being.

Ryduvu still lay, his tiger body collapsed and his human torso upright and braced against his hammer, the head of it planted in the earth. He slept inches from the edge of a crater made by his might blow. His metal flesh seemed...tarnished by the toxins running through him. His breathing was shallow, as he just lay there unconscious and his fellow gods bringing life to the newborn world.
He would've been pleased.
He would've been pleased.
Starvy put his shades back on and went back to reading his book. Aptly called the 'Starving ritual', it detailed several methods that old starvation gods had used. A rare book that to others seemed full of gibberish, with bookmarks placed in various location. Along with a dull black gem object that decorated the cover. It gave off a sense of dread, and the pages were now lightly wet.
