Dream Watchers are creatures that live on another dimensional plane from us. Dream Watchers are much like humans, however their looks and their universe are much different. They live in a Universe called the Dream Universe and they cannot travel to the physical universe (our universe.)
The only way for a Dream Watcher to contact anyone on earth is to travel to their dreams and see what life is like here on earth. Though, dreams are not always true to what our world is really like, so they often have a very distorted view of our reality.



We live in a universe next to an infinite number of others. One of these is the Dream Universe, where the Dream Watchers originated. The second is our physical universe, where earthlings live, the Reality Universe. Third is the Earthling Dreams Universe. The Earthling Dreams universe is where all of the dreams of humans and animals are collected. We can see this universe while we're sleeping, or even daydreaming.
Dream Watchers are able to travel to and from our dreams. Although is hasn't always been this way, since Yumi discovered the dimension that connects the Dream Universe to Earthling dreams, that portal has been open. Since then Dream Watchers have been able to travel to individual earthling dreams just like in their own worlds.

The portals affect on the Dream Universe

The connection between our universes has caused major changes in the Dream Universe. Once the dimensional portal was discovered any Dream Watcher can travel to the dreams of earthlings at any time. A Dream Watcher enters the dream of earthlings that they connect with in personality. Among billions of dreams, a Dream Watcher can hardly tell which dream they'll be thrown into. It's entirely up to the emotional connection of both creatures.
Before then the Dream Universe had almost nothing but complete emptiness. It could be likened to our universes outer space with only darkness and pain geometric shapes. After the earthling dreams had an impact on the Dream Watchers most of them began to fill their worlds with vibrant colors, and creative landscapes. they even took on the traditions of earthlings and began having families, friends and clans.
There were also Dream Watchers that saw dreams of chaos, fear and destruction. Some of them have been impacted by these nightmares so much that they started filling their worlds with it.
More often then not the dreams of earthlings aren't accurate to what earth is really like. Many dreams are bizarre, or just horrific. Because of this Dream Watchers have a very distorted view of our world. Since Dream Watchers are inside earthling dreams, experiencing them to the full, this has seriously affected the lives and personalities of many of them. Causing their worlds in the Dream Universe to change.

Teleportation

Earthlings can travel to their own dreams, but Earthlings can't travel to the Dream Universe. Dream Watchers can travel to Earthling dreams but they can't travel to the Reality universe. There is no known connection straight from the Dream Watchers Dream Universe and the Earthlings Reality Universe, (or a third dimensional portal.)
