Hi all! Since this is a new region with the whole fun adventuring dealio, I'm gonna use Rick as he was at age 19. I'm adding the relevant info in the near future.
As for what I'm looking for from this RP: I just wanna have a chance to get back in the swing of roleplaying with pokemon trainers. So while Rick is unlikely to turn down a challenge to battle, it's not his focus in this new region. He's mostly looking to explore the new terrain and see what sorts of pokemon and people are here.
That being said, he'll more than happily train with other people and mentor them as trainers/travelers/pokemon handlers. He's not perfect at any of these roles, but he's got plenty of experience he'd love to share. He likes seeing the bonds between trainers and their pokemon grow stronger.
Rick is typically more comfortable dealing with pokemon than people, but that won't stop him from interacting with other humans. It just might lead to a bit more snarking and butting heads from time to time. Sorry in advance if Rick turns contrary in a thread. Just 'cuz he doesn't like something/someone doesn't mean I do!

That honestly sounds interesting. Since I was planning for most of us to just be starting off on their journey, having someone to play a Brock like role, especially after the first gym. I like the idea for certain
