White has heard enough and, with ears slanted back, she leaps and grabs hold of Shado's arm, biting down as hard as possible, drawing blood. The taste drives the wolf insane.
Ended yelps and is taken back.
The dog tears into my face, and my eye is on fire as the dog misses my arm and gets my face. As it heals, a scar now runs down over my left eye, my eyeball having been torn out. The empty socket is black like the night. I then feel a hatred in my heart that I had not known before. I float upwards, the ground rumbling and dirt flying out of the ground. Zombies appear behind me, and I look absolutely terrifying. I fly upwards, and I shout, "You have made me ugly! I hate you all! Ender, you don't deserve to be my friend! I am a terrible friend! I am so ugly, and I am so sad that you met me! I suck!" Then I disappear without a trace.
White, blood coating their chest, holds the eye in their mouth. "Her weakness...." Rain then swallows the eye, grinning in victory. It felt good to have the taste of blood on their pallet once more. "Shall we find Silver?"
"No need." I say, stepping out from behind them. I hug White, grinning. "Thank you for getting rid of her. And I have a new collar for you. Yours seems to have taken damage." I say, slipping it over White's head. I then turn to Ender. "Are you sure you want to go back to being good? If you want, we can go find my sister?" I ask her, hoping she will stay with me.
White grins, shaking and letting the collar slip into its place. “Thank you. I will have to try more lean part of your sister. The eye was pretty fatty.” Rain scratches the old collar off, and attempts at getting the blood off their fur.
"I... I don't... know..."
I was in a moment of shock, still looking in the direction where Shado once stood. The universe seemed to be against me, send away any hopes of finding family. It was mocking me with every new attempt to lift my spirits and then break it into tiny pieces. I didn't notice my eyes dim for a moment as I contemplated my next move. I then realize something rather shortsighted.
"I believe we should look for your sister, yes, but not for the reason you may expect. She may have said that she was my sister, but I think she was just a glorified friend. Same with Herobrine. No matter how much I hope for, my dad is dead and no one can replace that. What they can do is help me cope with my problems and steer me in another, brighter direction."
I turn to Silver and White, giving them a weak, small smile.
"Look, that was supposed to be my way of saying 'hey guys, I'm sorry for being dumb, lets be friends again; you're one of the few friends I have in this world," I squeak at the end as I try to hide my emotions, like I do on a daily basis, "But as you can see, I'm not too good at that."
I open my arms as a offer an apologetic hug.
White chuckles and stands on their two hind legs, stumbling into your arms. "I know what it's like to lose family. That's what friends are for. And it appears that Shado might not be all bad if we can get to her."
I hug them all. "Friends forever!" I agree, glad to have Ender back. "Btw, I'm sorry for leading the griefer to your house. I kinda forgot about him in haste to get shelter before nightfall.
"Well, we better find your sister, eh?" White smiles as she gets back on all fours, shaking their fur back into place. "I still do not like being called a dog..."
"I promise I will find her. But we have to sleep. I bet you all are tired." I walk towards my new home, the Village. "Come on!" I say.
I slowly flap after her, though not tired.
I walk into the Village, the sky dimming as the day turns to night. I walk along the path to my house, and enter it. It is Librarian's house. Librarian is sorting her books on one of the bookshelves. "Hello dear...aah!" she says, seeing Ender, and I immediately tell her that she is a friend, and Librarian calms down. "Well, hello, then. Do you want some pumpkin pie?" She says calmly.
"I'll pass."
"Okay." Is Librarian's answer to that, while I dig in. I turn to her. "Librarian, do you know where the nearest Creeper Hive is?" I ask. She shakes her head. "Fighter or Mapper might know." She says, pointing to the house next door. I walk out the door. "Thanks!" I say over my shoulder. But she had already gone back to her work.
I walk into Mapper's house and talk to him. Then I turn to Ender. "He says that the nearest Creeper Hive is two miles from here. We need to be ready. My sister left a map on the ground when she disappeared saying to find her at the nearest Creeper Hive, so that's where we're going." My face turns serious. "But we need to be ready. No one has ever come out of there alive."
I walk to Fighter's house to get new armor, but all he has is leather armor. "Come on, Fighter. Don't you at least have some iron armor?" I plead with him. "No!" he says. "All the ore has disappeared, especially the coal." He tells us. Then he walks back inside and closes the door. "Oh well. I said, putting on the leather armor. "Guess I'll have to make do."
I tap my Diamond Armour, then my scales.
"Would you like mine?"
"No. I want you to keep yours."
"Let's go!" I say, gripping my enchanted iron pickaxe and running full-out across the plains towards the Creeper Hive.
I flap after Silver, checking my own supplies.
"WAIT!" I forgot to gather the other villagers!" I whistled, and the villagers came. Hunter and Stitcher, the sisters, Herder, Butcher, who liked being called Butch, Crafter, and Digger. Then I moved forward, gathering horses and giving them to each other. I looked at Ender, and seeing that she has wings, I knew she had herself covered. "Let's go!" I cry, and we gallop across the plains into the forest.
