Copperglow started to nod enthusiastically, simply happy that Beetlestar's first inclination had been to join him and Fishtooth, but his smile faded when he considered the question at hand. "It went fine, but..." He paused. It was short? Boring? No, he knew boring was good; that meant there were no significant problems. But there obviously were problems; it was just that nobody was talking about them. Why was nobody talking about them?
While Copperglow might have blurted that out in the past, he was trying to be less disrespectful. Things would be addressed eventually, anyway - all in good time, he supposed. Plus, it wasn't really his problem. "Er, I mean. You did great." Afraid that Beetlestar might be suspicious, he added, "I was kind of sad that you didn't fall off the rock, though, for the record. That would've been hilarious."

Beetlestar raised a brow when Copperglow hesitated in his reply, but it fell when he let out a laugh. "Yeah, that is pretty funny, ain't it? I think Drizzlestar would only tolerate it so many times, though-" The leader stopped himself, pausing before he cleared his throat. "Anyways."
"Why don't we head out? I miss my nest!" he said, loud enough so the other cats could hear. Beetlestar stood to his paws and bounded over to the edge of the field. "Last one to camp is a pile of crowfood!" announced the leader before rushing away without a second glance.
