The territory is made up of grassy hills that stretch far under the sun. When the morning's mist clears, one can see for miles atop the highest points. With the camp resting in the middle of the territory, the Stone Pond is close to the left. This is where the cats get most of their water from, and attempt catching frogs, if they're in the mood for that sort of thing.

With the Lavender Field to the north, there is an odd structure to the south. A twoleg gate that always remains closed. Deemed the Southern Wall, it separates the clan's territory from a twoleg's residence. Cats do not cross the wall in fear of strange creatures and a particularly loud dog.

Beetlestar led the way into the territory, head held high as he took a deep breath of the morning air. I should get up earlier more often, he thought to himself. The chirruping birds relaxed him, and with Laurelleaf's vision hanging over his head, he needed it.

"I wish every morning could be this nice," he said to the group. "Leafbare takes so much out of us all. Newleaf is the perfect time for us to all work hard and grow with the flowers. Oh! Speaking of working hard," Beetlestar slowed his pace so he fell into step with Bumblepaw, "how's your training going?"
“Go on Bumblepaw, tell Beetlestar how your training is.” Frostwhisper said, encouraging the young apprentice, knowing how nervous she can get.
Bumblepaw stumbled along just a little bit behind everyone, and when the attention was on her and Beetlestar was suddenly beside her, she retracted into herself just slightly. Like a turtle. She looked to Frostwhisper anxiously before she gathered the courage to say anything. "... Bad... I don't know if I'll ever get better..." She shuddered, thinking of a recent incident where she managed to catch a mouse, but it actually escaped right from under her paws.
Frostwhisper frowned slightly, “Bumblepaw that’s not true, you’ve gotten better. You’ll be a fantastic warrior one day.”
Beetlestar frowned. He was now going to have to give one of his encouraging speeches that always ended up being far less encouraging than what he was going for. Nevertheless, he still looked ahead with a determined expression. "Well, with expectations like that then you aren't going to get very far."

He realized this sounded harsh. Time to try again. "What I mean to say is, you can only go as far as you tell yourself you can. I don't measure warriors on their prey count or how many battles they've fought in. The title is in the passion for your clan, and I'm positive you can get there if you just let yourself. Out of all the cats I talk you, you're the harshest critic of yourself. Try getting out of your own head a bit, m'kay?" He looked back down at the apprentice, a spark in his eye that was partly caused by his belief in Bumblepaw's capabilities, and partly in pride that he didn't mess up his lecture as badly as he could have.
Bumblepaw's fur fluffed up slightly. It was pretty embarrassing to have multiple cats sticking up for her - in fact, it was a bit shameful to her, since they were just telling her how wrong she was. She was always messing something up.

"S-Sorry," she said to both of them, keeping her eyes on the ground and her head down. She looked up briefly when Beetlestar looked at her, but she glanced away as soon as she could. "Thanks," she added. "I just don't know. Maybe I'll get better eventually." It seems she missed the point, but at least she wasn't beating herself up so much this time.
Frostwhisper brushed her fur against Bumblepaws before walking ahead a bit, leaving her alone with Beetlestar. She padded up to Copperglow, “Where did you disappear to this morning?”
"I'm positive you will!" Beetlestar said brightly. "After all, you'd have to actively try to prohibit improvement. I'm sure I'll have to be choosing a warrior name for you before you know it! In fact, I was thinking about it yesterday," the leader began to ramble as they walked, oblivious to the fact that Bumblepaw probably wasn't listening to him anymore.

Leon had honestly intended on going straight home, and was only cutting through GaleClan because it was the shortest way to the gate. He figured their dawn patrol would have been over now, since HazeClan's had ended. However, he heard the familiar voice of Beetlestar ahead and got excited. It had been a while since he had seen his friend.

A few excited leaps later and the tabby was in view of the patrol, a cheerful expression on his face. The GaleClan cats had no idea what terrible accident he had just caused, and they didn't have to know. "Heya, folks!" he called as he joined them. Beetlestar gave him an equally cheerful greeting in return, but was still focused on the subject he had going with Bumblepaw, and turned his attention back to her.

Leon walked with the others, this time deciding not to wander off and cause trouble. Beetlestar and Bumblepaw seemed busy, so he focused his attention on the other two. "How's it goin', friends? It's been a while since I last got to start any shenanigans with you, Copperglow, eh?" Leon said, nudging the tom with his side.
Frostwhisper playfully rolled her eyes and purred a welcome, “Hi Leon! How have things been? How’s your sister?” She asked the excited Tom.
Leon looked to Frostwhisper and beamed at the mention of his sister, but faltered when he remembered how she had been shivering so much after being pulled out of the river. He gave an awkward chuckle before saying, "She's doing alright, I think! Anyways," he said quickly, "I got bored, and being bored is no good. So, how are things going in GaleClan? Any good gossip for your favorite miscreant?"
Frostwhisper thought for a moment before shaking her head, “None that I can think of right now, Copperglow have you heard any good gossip lately?” She asked, chuckling a bit.
((Bump))
Copperglow unintentionally ignored Frostwhisper’s question about his earlier disappearance, distracted by his friend Leon’s approach. “Well, good thing you stopped by, ‘cause we’re anything but boring over here,” he said, momentarily striking a goofy pose. More seriously, he added, “Don’t know about the gossip, though. There’s stuff goin’ on behind the scenes, I think, but it’s all kind of hush-hush. Nobody fills me in.” He stopped trotting along and turned to face the others. “But that’s okay, we can make our own fun, right? ...Race you!”
Frostwhisper let out a small purr of amusement, not noticing that Copperglow had avoided her earlier question.

“Race you to the border?” Frostwhisper challenged Copperglow, before looking back at Beetlestar. “If it’s alright with you that is, Beetlestar. We are still on patrol.”
"Hah?" Beetlestar looked up from his rambling at Bumblepaw and took a moment to comprehend what Frostwhisper asked. "Oh, yes, sure, go ahead." He shrugged, and it was pretty obvious that he wasn't fully paying attention. "It's not like Leon's gonna wait for you."

The orange and black tom had already taken off the second he heard the word "race". He had never been the fastest cat, so Leon was prone to cheating to get ahead whenever the opportunity presented itself. "See ya, flea-lickers!" he called over his shoulder as he bounded through the wildflowers.
Frostwhisper narrowed her eyes as Leon took off, and the second Beetlestar gave the okay she took off after him.
She easily dodged the undergrowth, leaping over any rocks or bushes small enough.
((Bump))
