HazeClan territory holds the majority of the water in the Valley, consisting of one large pond - traditionally known as the Mist Pool for the fog that endlessly hovers above its surface - and a large river signifying the end of the territory. Fish may be caught in the Mist Pool. It's fairly close to camp, so when nothing is going on, some cats like to lounge there.

The majority of the territory is made up of plains and forests. The air is humid and wildlife and flowers are everywhere. Through the forest is the river, in which more fish can be found, but warriors are warned to be careful as they may be swept up in the current and carried though the mountains. HazeClan territory is generally thought to end east of the river, as it's dangerous to cross and more dangerous wildlife is known reside there.

There was a light dusting of snow still on the ground from the Leafbare just under a quarter moon ago. As the weather got warmer, the snow would melt and water the newly budding plants. Life was coming back to the forest again, and now would be a good time to find the extra herbs that she needed. They'd be especially fresh at this time of season.

Tansy could be found anywhere, so that was an easy spot for Mosspebble to find. The only difficult part was finding cobwebs at this time of season. The only places that she could think of there being a sufficient supply of webbing would be near or under tree roots. She thought of trying by the Mist Pool, but there weren't a lot of uproots in that vicinity.

Holding the Tansy gently between her jaws, Mosspebble padded through the undergrowth, trying to think of the best place to find cobwebs. She then remembered about the river. Due to the now melting snow, there was a thin layer of mud that trailed across the river's bank. Plenty of roots were upturned; cobwebs should be easy to find!

With that thought in mind, Mosspebble made her way to the east side of the territory, and noticed the river in the distance. At this pace, she'd be able to gather what she needed and have time to give her back a rest.
Foxsong padded out of the camp, followed by her patrol. “We’ll start on the boarder with Hazeclan, and then circle back around, sound good?” She asked everyone.
She was still used to being the deputy, and being the youngest of everyone she was nervous.
Honeytuft followed close to Foxsong, trying to ignore the bothersome tabby following them. She focused on the crisp morning air and the strong smell of spring dew. When she replied to the deputy she said gently, "That sounds-"

"Great to me!" Leon interrupted, already trailing behind the other cats. Honeytuft bristled, but her brother was already getting distracted. He saw a shiny bug fly by that caught his attention, awed expression following the flying shape with his eyes. Deciding he could join the group again later, he pranced off after the bug, following it in the direction of the river.
Approaching the muddy banks, Mosspebble used caution when placing her paws. There was a large oak tree hanging at an angle over the river's edge. 'There!', she thought. Bounding down the bank, she noticed a few large roots poking out of the side of the bank. There should be cobwebs down there somewhere.

Setting down her tansy, Mosspebble slowly made her way down the incline towards the out poking roots. Finding a sturdy place in the slippery slope, she noticed some cobwebs buried under the thickest part of the roots. She took one of her paws and wiped the excess mud off, muddy cobwebs wouldn't do anything or the cats who might have needed it. Trying not to slip, she focused the rest of her attention on her paws.
Foxsong shook her head as Leon ran off but continued going. The patrol was more important then a troublesome rogue, even if he was Honeytufts brother.
They arrive at the border, and she turned to the patrol. “Honeytuft, refresh the scent markers, everyone else take a quick look around to make sure everything is fine.”
Leon only followed the bug for a little while until he got bored with it. He was now content with strolling through the territory, enjoying the scenery that he wasn't usually allowed to roam around. He was getting closer to the river, and soon noticed the clan's medicine cat up ahead.

He made his way over, not realizing how quiet his steps were on the wet grass. He got near the bank before he announced his arrival suddenly. "Hey there, Mosspebble! Whatcha doin'? Gathering some ingredients for your fancy potions?" he said loudly, not caring about his own volume.

_______

Honeytuft nodded and did as she was told. After she finished with the scent markers she took a glance around, trying to ignore the fact that she thought she could hear her brother's obnoxiously loud voice from wherever he was. She noticed an oddly large set of pawprints close to the border and paused. "Foxsong? There's some odd tracks over here."
Foxsong padded quickly over to Honeytuft, her ears perked. She studied the prints, scenting the air.
“They don’t look like they’re cat prints, but something was definitely on our side of the border. We should report back.”
Honeytuft got closer to the prints, bending down and sniffing them. She reeled back with a grimace on her face. "Ugh, they smell disgusting," she grumbled, stepping back away. The tracks looked close to a fox's, but not exactly. Honeytuft hoped that whatever it was wouldn't be staying around.
Foxsong nodded at Honeytufts comment, and turned towards camp. “Let’s head back, I have to cut this patrol a little short.” She started padding back towards camp.
Surprised by the sudden yowl of her name, Mosspebble puffed up and spun her head around to where the noise came from. In the spur of the moment, she lost her footing in the sleek mud and ended up tumbling backwards down the bank.

She felt the thin ice crack under her weight as the rushing water pulled her in. With a shriek, her head disappeared under the current. A few moments later, she bobbed back above the ripples and she started churning her paws, doing her best to keep her head up.

"Help me!" she wailed, briefly turning into Leon's direction before going under again.
Foxsong heard screeches of help and ran off towards the direction of the noise. She arrived at the waters edge and saw Mosspebble’s head dip below the water.
Leon let out a shout of alarm as he saw Mosspebble slip and fall into the water. "I'm coming! Hold on!" he shouted as he bounded onto the bank, looking franticly at the water below. He wasn't a strong swimmer; the most likely thing that would happen if he jumped in to save her is that he would drown as well. So, he got as far down into the water that he could, reaching out to grab for the medicine cat while shouting for help as loudly as he could.

Honeytuft didn't need more than the first call for help before she was tense and bolting off in the direction of the shouting. She recognized Mosspebble's cry, followed by the shouting of her brother. She got to the river as fast as she could, her breath catching in her throat when she scene came into view.

"Find something to pull us out with!" she instructed before jumping into the river. The cold water was a harsh shock to her system, but she had more important things to focus on. The current threatened to rush them away as she searched for the medicine cat in the water, trying to grab onto the other's fur while Leon frantically searched the shore.
Mosspebble could barely move her limbs, the icy water chilling her to the bone, but she did her best to keep moving. She felt a sharp pierce of teeth against her scruff as the familiar stripped pelt of Honeytuft flashed in front of her. She drew in a sharp breath as both of their heads came above the water.

Doing her best to churn her paws and keep not only her, but Honeytuft from floating away, she kicked with her back legs in the equal direction as the she-cat.

"Grab one of the loose branches!" She yowled at Leon, looking at the tree that she previously fell from.
Leon, eyes wide with fright and fur bristled in a panic, looked at Mosspebble when she talked as if she spoke in tongues. Shaking himself out of it a fraction of a second later he nodded, rushing over to the tree with a "Got it, got it!" He then proceeded to stumble and fall with a loud yelp.

Honeytuft held onto Mosspebble as best she could, a growl low in the back of her throat at the thought of freezing to death in the river because her brother couldn't keep track of his own paws. When Leon scrambled back up he realized that what he had tripped on was a stick that might be long enough to reach the two with.

Grabbing it quickly he rushed back to the bank, trying to reach it far enough, but it was a bit too short. He looked over to Foxsong and said through the stick in his mouth, "Grah muh tail!" He didn't wait for her reply, hoping she would listen as he stepped deeper in the water to get closer.
Foxsong rushed towards Leon, grabbing onto his tail, trying not to hurt him. “Ready.” She tried saying, her voice muffled by Leon’s tail.
When Leon felt his tail grabbed he waded in further, holding the stick out far enough that the two could reach it now. Honeytuft was struggling to keep them up, her grip so tight on Mosspebble she would have been afraid it would bleed if she wasn't focused on more important things. Her whole body stung with the cold, but she tried her hardest to move them so Mosspebble could grab onto the stick held out for them.
Foxsong held tightly onto Leon’s tail, trying to keep him from falling in too. Her entire pelt prickled with worry, but anger hid underneath, Leon was going to hear it after this.
Mosspebble stretched her neck out to grasp ahold of the stick that Foxsong and Leon were holding out for them. She felt the two pulling her and Honeytuft being pulled to the bank. When she felt land hit her paws, she dug her claws deep into the mucky bank and began to pull herself out with the assistance of Honeytuft. Making sure the she-cat could feel the grip of the earth, she kicked off the side of the bank and lunged up onto shore, Honeytuft coming with her. She ignored the pain in her flank, and let out a sigh of relief when she felt solid ground beneath her paws.
Foxsong let go of Leon and ran to Mosspebble, grabbing her gently by the scruff and dragged her further away from the water, to a patch of grass that was in the sun. She started lapping at Mosspebbles fur, trying to warm her and dry her off.
