A Quest Journal is so that you can jot down any notes about your journys and what you have done. The reason why is so that you can instantly recall anything that might help you earn what is called Bonus.
A Bonus is given when you have gone out of your way to help another member of your group if you are in a group Quest, when you have gone beyond expectations of your Group Leader or other Incentives that you may work for which will be listed in this Journal.

To apply for a Quest, all you need to know is the Quest and it's information. Here are the two that are available:

Quest under the Guidance of Wizardess Mystique Westlake
How many Questors: up to 5
Level requirements: Apprentice
Pay: Normal Rate of 250 Gold at the beginning and same at the end of the completed Quest.
Basic Requirement: Quest Kit Items, at least one Heavy Duty Horse,
Duration: up to 3 months
Seeking: Archaic Book of Spells, Potions, Blessings and Curses
Route: Banjar Isle to West Port. Passage paid by Wizardess Mystique Westlake to Isle of Years. Travel to Mount Fienor by horse. Find Deganna’s Library and the required Book.

How many Questors: up to 5
Level requirements: Apprentice
Pay: Normal Rate of 450 Gold at the beginning and same at the end of the completed Quest.
Basic Requirement:] Starter Quest Kit, at least 2 Heavy Duty Horses, young Personal Dragon
Duration: up to 6 months
Seeking: Gems and Jewels
Route: Banjar Isle to Ilse of Gems. Passage paid by Wizard Jacques Stephanwolfe to Isle of Gems. Search for gems and jewels. Log the area where they are found. Other possible places of hunts are Nortuga’s Reef and Starfall Isle.
Additional Information: You will be given a Personal Ore Dragon and a spare horse with 2 trunks. This trip is not for the weak. There will be times that one will not find any wild food. Be sure to take more than enough food since we will not be in towns very often to buy food.

Ima Student reads the 2 Quests on the board. Both will take 5 Questors, and no one has signed up yet. The Duration is different and so is the Pay. Those are the two main considerations that Ima Student has at the moment since she does not know either teacher.
The next thing she will take in consideration is that in Quest 2, she will get a young Personal Dragon and in Quest 1 she will need to catch a wild Creature in order to have a Bond Mate. That will take time to do but she could take the time which doesn’t make any difference.
Destination may be a key factor, but she liked both of them.
How ever in Quest 2, she will be given a horse! That is a good prize in its self.
Her Personal Quest is what she would be going by.

In House Work Detail are things that help the Academy or Guild. These Work Details range from short term to long term employment. The pay also ranges depending on the Work Details that is being done. Here is a list of what can be on the Work Detail List.

Photographer (work with who is making a plant or creature to create a picture)
