Autumn Romance

" uh y yeah good idea" He said as he started eating his food, still blushing/

Kadern continued eating as she listened " I think I still need to rest a little more today" She said

Kadern looked at it pausing for a moment " Cool Toy, I had a toy horse that would move when wound, didn't know they made dolls to" He said seemingly un fazed by the inanament object moving.

Kadern blinked " No thanks, I just want to eat im really hungry" He said as he continued to eat.

(( lets not forget the others))


Zari got tired of paceing and sat down on the bed huffing with boredom

Zari looked at him " That would be me" She said in a low voice as she walked over to the door of her cell.

" Both please" He said with a soft smile

(( lol yeah, its not easy to trick Kadern though ))

Zari looked at him with her golden eyes " I am Zariel The Lioness, I have only been in these lands for a few years, I use to sail with some sailors and helped in there trades they made in the different lands. After a misunderstanding with there Captain I decided my life needed something better so I stayed when they ported in Saranial, I stayed there for a year working to earn enough coin to buy a bow for hunting, I spent the next months training my skills and what I didn't eat myself from hunting I sold to family's who needed it. A few months ago I was tracking a bear that was bothering a farmer when I was jumped by that slaver " She sighed " I was in that cage ever since..."

That's good for now" Kadern said

" I'm really in no position to refuse what you ask of me, but you saved me from eather a life in a cage or some drunks play think , so for that my loyalty lies with you. As for if i caught them stealing, i would confront them and ask why, and if they do it again i would then report them. No, i would not try to seduce anything im not that type of person.. The only way i would desert my duties is if it go's against all that is right and good... " She said

Kadern nodded " i will defiantly try " He said looking at her with a soft smile. " So what would you like to talk about?" He asked

Zari nodded " Yes sir " She said

Kadern shrugged " i don't have any idea about magic classes, i taught myself what little i can do" he said

Zari took a deep breath " I Zariel the Lioness swar my life and blood to protect these two ladys as you have asked of me. " She said



" Alright, well what do you want to talk about?" He asked putting a hand on her leg with a soft smile

Zari bowed slightly " Thank you kindaly mi lord i wont let you down" She said before heading out of the room.


Kadern thinks for a moment "Weel.. its still cold even after the snow melts, but we will be able to go into town, and once it warms up i wouldent mind takeing you to the beach... its kinda far. as the closest parts to here to the ocean are cliffs so we have to travil a little ways to get to the beach"

Kadern nodded softly " don't worry well find you something, but its also a nice place for a picknic " he said smiling


" To the supply clerk " Zari replied to him



Kalu sighed he had tried to get some sleep, but he was still hungry and couldn't fall asleep, so he just lay there curled under the blankets, homing someone would bring him food or something soon.

I'm Zariel I'm to be a guard for Grand lady Avalon and Lady Allanna" She replied to him.


" Oh thanks i am quiet hungry" He said getting up and ran a hand threw his shaggy blind hair , walking over to the table he sat down, and happily started eating the soup.

Kadern shrugged " ill eat just about anything " He said chuckling " but it be something nice for me, you, my dad and lady Avalon " He said

" Well i can fight and use just about any type of weapon, though i favored the bow and large knifes " She replied to him, " as more my hair i pull the sides back into a pony tail to keep it out of my eyes" she said


Kalu sat there and ate happily, the warm soup felt wonderful as well as it tasted.. dipping a few crackers in the juse and munched on them.

" That sounds like a good plan, and yes maybe we can talk about it with my father " He said smiling " And that's really cute"

" Hmm I kind of like it... think we can incorporate a lion anywhere into my outfit? " She asked

" Well it will be done for next time then" He said smiling softly at her " Maybe you could make me something oneday" He chuckled

KAdern crowled to the end of his bed and pulled something out of his chest and then turned back to Allanna holding out a ragged old stuffed Cat " Do you think you can fix her?" He asked




" Thank you" Zari said taking the paper and smiled softly " Any idea were he is so i can ask him?" She added


Kalu sighed as he finished his food and licked his lips glad to have a full stomach of food

(( lol goggled stuffed cat to find one for Kadern and latterly one i own that i love to death came up so i have to use her ))


" Her name is Jingle" He said resting the old stuffed calico cat on his bed " i had her since i was little"

(( and yes mine is named Jingle ))


" ok Thanks" Zari said heading off

Kalu nodded and got up " Yeah im feeling much better then i was" He said

she use to stay on my headbored... but she started getting old and falling apart so i put her away " He said leaning back " so id like to put her back were she belongs " he chuckled


Kalu nodded softly as he walked along side the guard, the grip on his arm hurt a little but he chose not to protest it.

" Um, looking for Lady Allanna, so her hand maden could help me with my outfit" She said

Kadern nodded " she belonged to my mom she gave her to me" Kadern said


Zari nodded and ran a hand threw her red hair " Thanks"


Kalu sighed softly and ran a hand threw his shaggy blond hair " M My name is Kalu... i'm from Goroth... at lest I was " He said whimpering slightly clearly afraid to say to much. But then he just sighed and took a deep breath " Let me start over.... I am Kalu the Former Prince of Goroth, My father banished me after I stood up to him for trying to take to much food away from his people, The time of snow is very rough and I couldn't bear to see anyone starve.. But he didn't care and ran me out... I had no were to go that wasn't with in his borders, and i would rather avoid the slaver hub... The Inn in the woods was full so i was hoping to make it here to your kingdom in hopes to find shelter... but I didn't make it in time" He sighed

" his name is Drake, and no we never had a good relation ship.. I kept my mouth shut most of the time when he did thing I didn't agree with... I stayed away from him cores most of the time he sat on his ass and did nothing" Kalu sighed " Everyone is afraid of him and I was the only person to ever stand up to him.. and look what that got me... ran out of my home at the worst time of year"

" I'm better with numbers then anything else... I would defiantly be willing to try... and yes I would be willing.. I may not know you that well.. but I can see in your eyes that your a kind and just man.. " Kalu said
