Autumn Romance

Melody smiles and was wishing that she had more to say. She continued working on the kitten.

"Go to the guard just outside of the door and ask him to take you there." Albert spoke as he began to collect his things. Suddenly, he called out
"Guard!"

When one came in, he spoke
"Please ask Kava, Lady Avalon's father to come here."

"Yes, your highness." The guard spoke and left. He asked about Kava and one of the maids spoke to say that she saw him around somewhere but it had been a while ago.

The guard spoke to Kalu first.
"I'll take you to the clerk after I take Kava inside the ourt room." he said.

"Please come with me. The King wishes to speak with you." the guard spoke as he held the door open for Kava.

"Kalu, I called you in so that we may speak privately. Stephanwolfe has been hired to be a magic mentor. He has no previous experience but I believe that he has enough experience through his father, Wolfegang. Wolfegang is a perfectionist and he taught Stephanwolfe. Stephanwolfe has finished his schooling for 2 years and has traveled with his father.

I have a favor to ask of you. Will you oversee Stephanwolfe as he needs the varifaction of being able to teach? Just watch as he teaches at least Lady Allanna." King asked.

"Please come with me." the guard spoke when he got out of the court room.

"That's wonderful. What kind of would you like?" King Albert asked.

William, I have another one for you."' the guard spoke then left.

"How may I help you?" William asked as he came to the door way.
"Please come inside......

"That's wonderful. What kind of recompense would you like?" King Albert asked.

"May I see your work order?" William asked.

"Thank you, Kava. I appreciate that. It might help if you did put a bit of a different view on things, partucularly in private talks. Get him to talk about things and do what you think is best." King Albert spoke up.
"Now let's have some lunch."

"A full wardrobe? All right, let's get you measured then we can go from there." William spoke as he took out the tape measure.

"Yes, I did, We were out hunting those wolves for they seemed to be a roque pack. They tore into her legs really bad. I brought her back here to my castle and Allanna took care of her from there and she wouldn't let me inside the room until Avalon was tucked in bed." The king smiled as he thought of that day.

"Fine....I have plenty of the earth tones from a rusty red to darker oranges to indigo and more. I'll show you where your size is but all of the suit clothes are on the 3rd floor. Will you be up to walking that far?" William asked.

"Soon I will speak to her more on marriage. I'd like for you to stay until after the wedding if possible." Albert spoke as he lead the way to his office.

"Very well then. Do you have your room key?" William asked.

"As far as I am concerned, another watch tower couldn't hurt and you may place it not very far from here. " Albert spoke as he unlocked his office.

He placed the paper work in a drawer for the time being. He then unlocked another cupboard to take down a set of keys then remembered that he needed another set. He locked it up and gave it a try.

"I have the tendancy to try the locked doors to make sure that it is locked. Now to find that young man that was nearly frozen. He will need a key to his room and to an empty office.

"Want to come with me?" Albert asked.

"Here is where the staff stay when they are not needed and it's still their shift. This is where the staff get their uniforms. William is an older man who I value very much.
And here is the one we are looking for. Here is your key for your room and for your office which is next door. Feel freee to look and see what you need. Give the list to James. William, be sure that he sees where everything is."

"Now where shall we go? To the student study perhaps?" King albert asked Kava.

"Let us go upstairs then. I'll show you to your room on the way.]


"This will be your room when you are ready to look at it." King Albert spoke.

"Now back the other way. This place is a maze." King Albert chuckled.
"The Student study is at the front of the house and where Stephanwolfe should be. Hopefully, setting up to start classes in a day or two."

"That is so very true. Not even 20 feet from the door. Up one more flight then to where I store most things." William spoke as he went up first.

King Albert knocked on the door.

"Come in." came a voice inside.

King walked in and looked about.
"It has been quite a while since I was last in here with Kadern. Not much has change except for that one set of book shelves. New books? An Orry? I hope that everything will be put to good use.
Stephanwolfe, this is Sir Kava. He will be supervising you for a while to make sure that what you teach is up to date for the Board of Certifacation."

"No, not at all. In fact I am relieved for I was wondering if I would ever get teaching credits." Stephanwolfe spoke as he held out his hand.

"I'll leave you to get acquinted with each other. " King Albert spoke as he waved bye.

"Perhaps you can enlighten me about my student or students?" Stephanwolfe spoke as he pulled out a chair for Kava to sit on.

"There. Take a look at the kitten now, Kadern...." Allanna finally spoke as she finished checking the kitten.

"I am sure that you have had many wonderful memories of teaching them but I would like to get to know my own students. You see... I am a bit nervous." Stephanwolfe spoke openly.

Allanna smiled and brushed his hair back from his sweet face. Carefully she tucked the kitten in his arm before covering his arm up.

"One day sooner or later, we shall discuss us. But not while you are sick." she whispered then kissed his forehead.

"Are you going to tell me at least how many children I will have? Are they bratty?" Stephanwolfe asked.

Allanna got up and made some tea then started to work on her embroidry, hoping that she would see another sweet smile.

"What! Prince Kadern in my class? Does that mean that one of the Ladies is my other student? If so which Lady?" Stephanwolfe asked.
"I know that Prince Kadern is ill but may I see the Lady who is my student?"

"No doctor? That might not be so good of an idea. Yes, let's go up and see what they are doing." Stephanwolfe spoke.

"I have yet to meet her and I haven't seen Kadern since I was 12 and he was 10."

"I'm glad that you do know where. We are in the servant's hall. Father will be leaving as soon as he can. I can do some healing as a side line but not allowed to do it. I don't have enough experience but how can I get experience if I can't do some healing." Stephanwolfe spoke.

"That is too bad. I think that if a person is healed because you had the knowledge and skill to do it, then you are the most fortunate person." Kadern spoke.

"What kind of magic does Lady Allanna hold? How strong is she? " Kadern spoke in a worry laden voice.
