Autumn Romance

"Good." she speaks as she comes back into the room.
"Looking good. Now for your vest and jacket then your shoes.

Before long Allanna had Kadern ready to go downstairs. She got his sword cane and smiled.
"Please use your cane."

"Let's go slowly. I am sure that everyone will be surprised to see you up but hopefully not too angry." Allanna spoke as she thought of an uplifting song which she hummed softly to see if it would help stregnthen Kadern.

"Thank you, my Prince." she tilts her head to the side to look up at him.
"I am glad to be of service to you. Be careful on the steps as we go."

Allanna walked ahead so that if he did fall she could at least slow his fall down while she called out.

"How are you feeling so far, Kadern? Not too bad? Not dizzy or anything?" she asked then continued humming.

"Then it is time for you to get out of bed for a bit. We will still go slow however." Allanna spoke as she reached the bottom of the stairs and looked up to Kadern with a broad smile.

"As perfect as always, my handsome Prince. Now let us go surprise a few people." Allanna smiled happily as she slid her arm in his. TOgether they would head down the hall.

James smiled and nodded at them as they went by.

"Thank you, my Prince." Allanna walked inside a ways then spoke.
"Good evening everyone. We have made it downstairs this evening."

She left it open for Kadern to speak as he saw fit.

King Albert rose with some concern in his face.
"Allanna, why did you allow him to come down when he is not well?"

"I am not his parent or guardian but I doubt that you could stop him. I couldn;t when he seems well enough and he smiles at me in such a way....." Allanna looked at Kadern with love shining in her eyes.

"Well, what is done is done....he doesn't seem too bad for his illness. How are you feeling, son? That is the most important thing." King spoke softly as he looked at his son with a bit of pride.

"So what I have heard is true? That Allanna might have a rare Ability of Spell Singing? Kava, you witnessed Stephanwolfe being asleep after Allanna sang to him? Now Kadern is saying that her singing is making him feel better?

Incredible! I thought Spell Singers were at least in the past if not some kind of a legend." King Albert spoke in wonder.

"Come and sit down Kadern and rest a bit. That was some walk that you had."

"I just simply love you, Kadern. It makes me feel good when people enjoy my singing and playing like you have.

But I did some testing and they feel that I might have an ability that is rare. They didn't tell me the exact name but if it called Spell Singing, I like the name." Allanna spoke.

"Bah! That is some foolish notion that Stephanwolfe has. Which also means that he is late to dinner. " Wolfegang complianed.

"I think that he is eating in the servants dining room for that is where he will be eating from now on." King Alfred spoke with a tolerant smile.

" I am not sure if there are like assigned seats or anything. I used to eat with the family because I was a guest. This is my first day eating in here. But it looks nice. Let's just choose a seat and see what happens. " Staphanwolfe spoke calmly as he guided her to a chair which he held out for her.

"I just hope to use it for a good purpose and perhaps healing could be one of the purposes. And if that works out to be so, then I would be overjoyed at the possibilities for the future." Allanna spoke.

"Tell me about yourself and how you happened to end up here." Stephanwolfe asked as he sat next to her.

"A Pork roast tonight. Potatoes, green beans, fresh bread, butter and pie." King spoke with a smile.

"Sounds good enough to eat. " Allanna spoke. " I prefer to have beef or chicken but pork is good too. I got sick on pork once and I still am a bit leery of it pork roasts since."

"Wow what an interesting life you must have had. But I am glad that King Albert rescued you. So very glad." Stephanwolfe spoke as he gazed at her.

"They could indeed. There was a time where we had several meats at one time. Perhaps I should have a bit more interest in kitchen matters but I have none what so ever..

Perhaps you could go to the kitchens, my dear and take care of the matter for me?" King Albert spoke as he looked at Avalon.

"I have been a student like forever and under my father. I am finally able to get out from under his thumb so I guess that I am rescued by King Albert as well. He has given me the position of Magic Mentor for Lady Allanna and any others that might need some mentoring. " Stephanwolfe spoke softly as he looked into her golden pools of light.

Cook was warming up some beef for the staff that was left from day before and making gravey from the broth. Mounds of mashed potatos were sitting on a counter where one of the maids were placing pats of butter on the the top to melt down into the potatoes. The green beans had nice size pieces of left over bacon in it.

"Yes, I do. It is one of the elemental magic. Why do you ask?" Stephanwolfe asked softly.

"I am fine, thank you. just as busy as ever. Is there something that i may help you with? Mind the pies! Move the beans to the vegetable area!" Cook called out quickly.
"Got to keep one eye on these new lasses now days. No sense of direction or orderliness. Now back to you dearie. What can I do for you?"

"It is a simple problem. You just need a little mentoring is all. Here try making it into a tiny ball. Go ahead and simply roll it up for it won't harm you because it is part of you." Stephanwolfe instructed as he watched.

"There is no problem if she wishes to have a bit from yesterday's lunch. There is more than enough left." Cook spoke to Avalon.
"A serving dish if you please! She doesn't care for pork roast?"

"I'll always made sure that she will have something else then. Perhaps we should go back to a couple meats on the table each meal?" Cook asked as she took the dish from a girl with a soft thank you.

"You can do it. I have faith in your ability. Just keep rolling it until you accoplish what you are doing." encouraged Stephanwolfe.

"I'll alternate the meats as I can. Tomorrow will be ham. Will the King wish to have a second meat served? Will you be giving us meal orders from here on out? The King rarely sticks his nose in here unless he has a sweet tooth." Cook chuckled softly.

"Try a bigger flame now. The bigger you can make the flame, the longer that the ball will last." Stephanwolfe spoke as he watched.

"The King is a meat and potatoes man but his favorite is any kind of pie. I have a wide assortment that we made today.
Cass.... there are two in the dining room. Your turn to serve." she called out.

"Yes, Cook, I'll take them a plate right away." Cass spoke as she picked up two plates and filled them with food before taking it out to the two people.

"Here you two go........Hey you two are new here. I'm Cass, one of the upper kitchen help." she spoke as she sat a plate in front of each of them.

"Thank you, Cass. I am Stephanwolfe and I am the Magic Mentor here at the castle. I just started today. This looks great and smells wonderful." he spoke with a smile.

"Nice to meet you both. Now for drinks... coffee, tea or water. Dessert is pie- peach,cherry or apple. Your choices are?" Cass spoke.

"Let either James or myself know yet to tonight so I can prepare for tomorrow's breakfast, please....." she spoke as she placed a large bit of meat in a bowl for the Royal Dining Room.

"Tess! Load up for the Royal Dining Room." cook spoke as she placed the food on a metal table which had a fire under it. The kitchen was a bit overly warm but it was the end of the day.
