once she was on her horse Brian got on his and begain leading them back to the city.
Queen Melody rode behind Sir Brian with her head held up high. Her thoughts were elsewhere and what the possibilities were in store for her.
it didn't take long before Brian lead Melody back into the city and back to the stables to put the horses away.
Melody was hurried up the stairs and to her room where she was quickly cleaned up and hair was brushed to get the sand out of it. A gown was placed on her and she was placed in her bed with her private journal to wait for the doctor.
Brian tended to the horses and made sure they had water and food before he returned inside to clean up some as well.
The doctor came in with her maid. He asked a number of questions and listened to her heart lungs then took her pulse.
"I heard that you were out in the sand storm. Not a good idea in your condition. And yes, you pregnant. About 2 months along. I am leaving a suggested food list and suggested activity list.
Now about the father?" he asked.
"I will tell him. Give me an hour or so before telling Lord Pentre or the Sultan. I am sure that he will want to know first." Melody spoke quietly as she closed her eyes.
"Very well. I will sit in your lounge for a bit then head downstairs and do my best to give you a full hour. I can not promise more than that." dr spoke as he packed up his things.
"I'll make the suggested lists there."

Melody waited in her bed and wondered where Brian might be. She could only hope that he will do what he could for her..... mainly marrying her so that the baby will be a legitiment one.
Once he was done Brian walked to Melody's room and knocked on the door, wanted to check on her.
The maid went to the door and stepped back to allow Brian inside. The doctor was just finishing up with the lists.
"Come in Sir Brian. I am sure that she will see you but let me finish up with the Doctor's busness." she spoke meekly.
"I'm just leaving. Make sure that Queen Melody gets plenty of good food and plenty of rest. Here are the 2 lists that I have made for her to follow.

"Come in." Melody called out from her bed. She had a bed coat on and sitting up with her lap desk.
Brian open the door and stepped inside closing it behind him " Hey, how you doing? " He asked walking over to the bed.
"I am doing ok. Please come in and close the door." Melody spoke as she smiled softly.

"Yes." Melody spoke softly.
