"I have a need to absorb some sunshine so that I start to feel better. Tell me about what you have been doing while I was working?"
"As do I. What else do we have in common?" she asked softly as she glanced his way.
"You are amazing, Brian. I do enjoy playing the piano and singing. Perhaps one we can play something together and sing a bit." she spoke softly.
"Someone has to be first." she looked at him. She looked up into the sky.
"Brian...... what is that ahead? "
"Brian...... what is that ahead? "
"At least tell me that it is not a sand storm......." she whispered.
"It is a better than nothing. I hate this desert." Melody spoke as she huddled down on her horse with a bit of fear in her heart.
"Thank you, Brian." she spoke as she accepted his help. She stood stillin the middle of the two horses shivering from fear of being lost.
"I am glad of that but I fear that we will be out longer than what was planned. " Melody spoke as she leaned against her horse.
"I get myself enough trouble without having a sand storm helping me to get in trouble."
"I get myself enough trouble without having a sand storm helping me to get in trouble."
"I know but still... I have defied Lord Pentre many times over and if he ever finds out about us, it will be the end of both of us....." she spoke quietly,
"That may be but I wonder what kind of torture a female goes through..." shudders as thoughts floated through her head of what she had seen so far.
"The one bright spot of my life here is you. One day we shall leave and it might not be the way I prefer but we shall leave. " melody looked at Brian with a smile.
"All right. I doubt that he would like braids but a nice brushing should be something that he might enjoy." Melody spoke as she stepped away from her horse.
"Just like the way I do my own hair. That is quite simple enough for even a novice like me to do." Melody spoke quietly as she stroked Prince's muzzle.
"I could possibly eat a bite or two. What do you have? " Melody smiled as she looked up at Brian.
"Sounds good to me. I'l start with some bread to chew on. I'm not too hungry at the moment. I am glad that you thought of some food and drink." Melody spoke quietly.
"I will definately remember this lesson. Thanks for the finding this shelter, Brian. It is a bit tight but at least we are safe once more." Melody spoke then laid her head down to think.
After a few moments, she asked
"Any thoughts of how to escape this place ? I'd like to leave but have no knowledge of how to do so. The Sultan gives the permission to leave doesn't he?"
After a few moments, she asked

"hmm.... such a simple way to leave. Yet I am worried about whether of not someone is watching up. With so many magic users, why can't there be someone that watches the coming and going of people?" she asked.
"You might be right then. Perhaps we should make these trips like once or twice a week. Then perhaps we can leave one day." Melody spoke softly.
"Sounds good to me. I just eat so much now days and yet I am still tired......" Melody spoke softly as she leaned against the Prince. She gently stroke the horse's neck as she stood there.
"Yes, it is a good thing. Next time we shall take a picnic and a blanket. Perhaps even a bottle of mead." Melody spoke quietly.
