Summary
The world ended in 2018 and you’re now living in its ashes. A ceaseless war, with massive casualties and unrivaled destruction, is pushing the world towards extinction. The global community is running out of resources, and the besieged countries are in the process of collapse. Alien monsters of unimaginable size and stunning brutality called Kaiju are barely beaten back with human made monsters, enormous and powerful robots called Jaegers- creating large swaths of decimation that are officially uninhabitable. There never seems to be an end to this grueling war. Most don’t remember a world without it.

This is a rpg set in the world of the Pacific Rim franchise using an alternate timeline, world events, locations and characters as created by me. Otherwise, the established background lore of the movies Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising, alongside the written media lore of Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero, Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift, and Pacific Rim: Aftermath apply. I do not own any of these media properties and all credit goes to their creators. None of these are required viewing or reading in order to understand or enjoy this game.
Current Plotline
In 2020, a mere month after the first ever Jaeger came online- Brawler Glory piloted by the husband and wife team of Ruben and Leila Bright- the US government used eminent domain to seize Treasure Island, midway off the coasts of the cities Oakland and San Francisco. Under the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Cities Shatterdome was built, joining the other rapidly constructed Shatterdomes around the world.
The year now is 2037, a long 19 years after the first Kaiju attack, the Bay Cities Shatterdome stands as a last defense for the coast of the North American continent. The remaining Jaegers in North America are gathered here, protecting the ten mile intercept range from the now destroyed Anchorage, Alaska to city of San Diego, California. Eight Jaeger are currently in use, with a further two being constructed to replace any old ones if they fall. A constant cycle of destruction and birth.
The international community, namely Europe, has thrown itself into the construction of an Anti-Kaiju Coastal Defense Wall, supplying the much needed manpower to build such a thing. Yet according to the Pacific Rim countries, such a wall will not hold and they continue to support the Pan Pacific Defense Corp and their Jaeger programs.
Due to the brilliant work of the the K-Science in the Australian Shatterdome located in Sydney, it's predicted that there's an upcoming double event that will come through the Western Breach located near Guam. The same can be logically said of the Northern Breach, located near Alaska. This is could spell the final destruction of the world, and the Bay Cities Shatterdome remains as the last and greatest hope for the North American continent.
Now, Marshall Noble gathers her remaining Ranger pilots, scours the coast for notable unauthorized Jaeger operators, and is speeding up the graduation of the latest batch of Jaeger Academy cadets in order to face this threat. This is Operation Strikethrough, an attempt to close the Northern Breach once and for all. She is preparing to make a last stand as her fellow Marshalls across the ocean are in face of the Western Breach. This is the cusp of the final battle, and the fate of the world rests in the hands of the Jaegers and their pilots.
