At a table set a girl with pastel blue hair, her hands folded in front of her in deep thought. In front of the girl sat books, what seemed like a good twenty books and all of them were open, spread to what would seem like random pages with the girl's quill left sitting in the little ink well as she tries to figure more out. Her tail swished behind her as she growled softly. "Dad what were you even doing with yourself at times." She asked softly as she glanced at a nearby window before shaking her head. There would be no answer and she knew that, not now that her father was long since gone and would never be coming back.

She stood up, gently pacing back up to a place with all the string where she was keeping track of everything, drawing the pieces of what she needed to do in order to get the task done. Something her father hadn't done before and maybe something that would step her out of his shadow if at least only for a little bit. She took a step back, inspecting the entire thing before her while she considered her options before her. These were places and things she would know so little about and she was sure the task would be quite dangerous even for the daughter of one so great. She looked at her quill before stepping over and gently beginning to pen out an ad to wherever she could get it too, knowing that she would need all the help she could get and hoping that she would indeed get that help.

Do you seek adventure from the highest cliffs to the deepest ocean? Through the hottest volcanos and deep into the coldest of caves? Come meet your chance to go on an adventure you'll never forget, a quest to rebuild a powerful sword that has been shattered and scattered to the wind! Come to the docks at two in the morning, and be prepared for a long adventure!

((Kay so here's the quest, thus we can start in character. I've set it up so you can come to your characters receiving the ad so I hope that you are all okay with this set up. Most of my posts I don't think will be this long unless I'm going into a few story details to things in or push things out as need be.))

His hand, if it could be called that, grabbed the flyer off the saloon wall as he sipped a whiskey. He read it over and thought a while until he finished his drink. He left money on the table and walked out the door stretching in the moonlight. His ears and tail still very visible as he stepped into the street. He closed his eyes and thought of the doc in the flyer. He materialized at the start of it and made his way down it cautiously
He had been staying still for too long and this was just what he needed. He didn't like doing work that didn't have a listed reward but considering that he had enough money for the next 8 months of living he supposed that he could at least humor this and go see. He left the modest library and headed towards the dock, deciding to get there and just wait.

He arrived and saw an odd shadowy figure moving along the dock but didn't do anything about it. He wasn't in the mood to deal with such an entity, especially beneath the moonlight.
He held up the add as he looked around. “This is the place. No ones here though.” He snarled a bit. “Guess it was a hoax.” He turned to leave
((I'm holding for the other. Should have three.))
((Sorry it took me so long to arrive!))

From the moment she had seen the flyer plastered to the wall outside her home, the dragoness knew that this was something that she could help with. She hoped, at least.

The time to meet was early, but Charlotte could understand why it was set then. Packing what provisions she thought she needed, she made her way down to the docks, seeing that there were two others already there. Approaching cautiously, she stood quietly near the others, her tail flicking nervously behind her.
He stood there silently for a bit. Then decided to figure out who was who. “So are you two here because of the flyer?” He asked looking at the two of them
As the group began to converse, they'd notice two more approaching from different directions. From one way came an elf. 'She' had almost bleach blonde hair wearing clothing that looks like she'd belong in a climate to the far north than where they were. Each step behind the ice mage seemed to soak the ground before one would realize that 'she' was turning the ground to ice under her feet....an ice mage perhaps? "I think we are all here because of the flier..." The elf stated.

The other slithered up from the water and shook before moving over, half her body looking like it would belong to a snake rather than some beautiful woman. Her eyes almost glowed emerald while her dark red hair was braided back into a bun behind her. Across her back was slung a bow and a quiver, and she was dressed in semi-form fitting leather that left her tail and midriff showing to them. "Whoo, made it just in time!"

Suddenly a door nearby creaked as it left it's hinge and was dragged open against it's will from the sound of it's protest. The footsteps beyond sounded like they were heavy and that some monster was coming but instead out stepped Luna, her damaged ear giving a soft flick as she took in the crowd around her.

This wasn't what she was expecting in the slightest to be perfectly honest but she was glad that show many would willing show up to help the quests move along like planned. "Wonderful, I'm sure you all got my flier....this way, I'll show you what's up." The fox stated as her tails swished behind her and she descended as if going through the floor itself though when they got over there they could clearly see the stairs.

The lamia was the first down, followed by the ice mage who grumbled something about foxes showing off and how she could basically do that too and that she wasn't at all impressed. Going down they'd find themselves going into an almost dungeon like area before coming out of the stairways in a large room, possibly the same room that Luna had been in when she made the note in question.
He floated down behind the others as a shadowy vapor. As they came to a stop he renaterialized beside the others and watched the fox intently trying to figure out if this was worth his time. He looked around some as he listened and tried gathering any clues he could
Turning to look at the elf-looking woman as she approached, Charlotte noticed the ice forming behind her, and narrowed her eyes. She made a mental note to stay away from the mage; ice and her body didn't mix well.

She then looked over to the one exiting the water, the lamia immediately taking her interest. The dragoness hadn't been aware that the snakelike creatures could inhabit the sea, but if they could, then they were worth learning about.

The sound of the creaking door drew her attention away, and her eyes flicked to see the fox girl emerging from the darkness. Following the group down, she kept quiet, her blue eyes straining to see in the dim light of the stairway.
