The class ended and as the students walked out Niki sat back in her seat. She gave a dismissive smile at those who wondered why she wasn't leaving.
She briefly fixed Mr Halbeard with a questioning gaze, this was odd.
The girl tapped her cheek with her index finger as she wondered what this was all about. '90% is what I usually get, but perfection is my is my true nature.' she shrugged.

"Sir, what's going on?" she asked the lecturer.
The area was crounded that is for sure. He knew he would have trouble getting through as soon as he saw it. Getting an idea, he reached into his bag hanging at his side and pulled out a small radio. He’d likely get in trouble for what he was about to do. Though he didn’t worry much, after all the professors seemed to have an odd Love for him.

Finally finding what he was looking for he held the little black tube with, a microphone on its tip, to his lips.
He then began to twist the top until a sudden noise was heard from the intercom speakers surrounding the area. Just as soon as it stopped, he spoke into the microphone.
A small smile grew on Niki's face, 'A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one' she thought.

"I'd appreciate that sir." she said grinning.

The girl stood up and took a step closer to the teacher. It would be a difficult exam since it was in such short notice but she knew she could do it. The stakes were high but so was the reward, 'The win itself will be plenty of a reward, the free time is just a huge bonus.'

"Is there anything else sir?" Niki asked.
Jie Huo sat in the shade in the campus courtyard, whiling away his free period. He had tried to go to sleep but nightmares had recently plagued his mind; fields of corpses as far as the eye could see with one man stood above them all. The man donned wings the colour of the night sky and a look that could only be described as satisfaction.

The thought sent chills down his spine; he liked working with cadavers, though not in that quantity.
Niki frowned, she was somewhat offended by the way he phrased that. Victory was in her nature but she didn't coast through life, she had gone after things with everything she had. Whether studying or training she took it seriously, she didn't just do enough to pass she went beyond that. She wanted perfection, the ultimate victory.

She looked him in the eye. "I will give it everything." she said. "I always do. Anything else sir?"

She shut her eyes summoning all the power she had, she needed the extra confidence. The confidence from a thousand wins and the knowledge that thousands more were on their way. She opened them and looked intently at the teacher.
Jie Huo's dark eyes widened for a second as he saw the lyre and bow flash in and out of existence.

After looking around to see if anyone else saw the unusual items on Apollo's person, he curiously tailed the man to see if any more images would appear. He was paranoid enough with his dreams; Jie Huo didn't like the sound of becoming insane.
Niki smiled at the threat, she had no intention of failure, even when the standard was so high.
When the girl saw Artemis she definitely was intrigued, if anything it was an opportunity to let her know about her Sports Science situation.

Niki sped up and followed Artemis into the stairwell.
Jie Huo shivered at the unexpected physical contact; he never even got that close with his closest friend, let alone a passing acquaintance.

The initial shock and discomfort did fade in time and he replied to Apollo's question, " Um... I was wondering if you at all... do archery? Play the lyre?" It wasn't the most articulate sentence but Jie Huo was an introvert through and through.
The girls looking their way was unusual but it would be fair to assume that Apollo received this sort of attention regularly.

"You do... huh?" he said quietly. He pondered the ordeal in his mind; how could he have seen both of those things? The bow and arrow could have been assumed from his twin sister but the lyre? It certainly wasn't a popular instrument.

"So... where did you pick up the lyre? Did a family member teach you?"
Dion's eyes go wide as she suddenly found her groove and went on and on about history and this chalice. Dion seem mostly uninterested, for some reason he had a clear image of this chalice, that he shakes away, shaking his head quickly at her words.

"No it's Dion, You know I hate that name, my parents liked greek history more then you." He says grumbling a bit. He has always hated that name, it was always what he was called when in trouble. His name as been Dion since high school, before then it was just Denny.

"Are you suggesting I take you to this museum?" He asks as she seemed quite interested in the place after all. "You think they would let me drink out of it." He says with a wink and a playful grin, but she would know that if he could he would.
well that seemed to work out rather well for him. Matthew proceeded to turn off the small device and replace it back in his bag. Afterwards he began to roll himself between people that now, having noticed him, began to move aside.

He wheeled himself through the crowded area at a decent pace as he had hoped to make it to class on time.
Jie Huo raised an eyebrow, "A hobby?"

He thought for a moment, thinking of the best way to phrase it to someone that was not of his particular skillset. "I dissect cadavers, try to figure out causes of death or what they were like alive - it's fascinating what you can find just from a look at them."

He lost a little bit of tension when talking about his less than conventional interests. Now it was just a matter of guessing how long it would take Apollo to recoil at the topic.
"You're as forward as you look, aren't you?" he said, somewhat taken aback by the question.

"Well, if you have to know I'm a 'ladies man' as you put it." After some processing, he could see the confusion. He spent most of his time with his male roommate and hadn't openly shown much interest in any women. In truth, it was proving to be difficult to find a woman he was compatible with.
He scratches at his cheek a bit as she explains what exactly she has there, the more she does the more his lips turn upward into a grin. "I think you just bought yourself a date to the museum." He says with a playful wink. "I think it would be a favor taking it off your hands. Not like you have any use for such things these days." He says teasingly, as his hands move to rest behind his head, leaning against the tree seeming all to comfortable.

"So when his the opening of this museum huh? Your not gonna make me get up now are you? I just got comfortable." The last part in a playful whine of a voice.
He’d left the classroom as soon as he was allowed to. While trying to focus on the equations he had a bolt of creativity burst through his body so powerful that he began to sketch in his notebook.

He has something In his head that people here would, hopefully, love. And he wanted to set himself to work on it as soon as possible. Though, he could partially attribute his sudden inspiration to Mr.Lewis’s daughter. Perhaps he should ask Mr. Lewis when her birthday is so that he can give her a gift as a thank you.
"Well that explains why you've been dragging me half way across campus..." he mumbled, "Are you sure you want me there? I've never had anything to do with poetry before."

As most could tell, opening up about inner feelings was not a strong point of Jie Huo.
The idea was half formed and half baked, he needed time to form it more clearly in his mind before he tried to do anything. With as much speed as he could muster he made his way to the back of the science building. Within seconds he’d brought out his sketch book and began to do a ruff outline alongside some math he did to calculate the precise measurements needed for what he planned to do.

A fire lit in his bright blue eyes as his pencil flew across the page of the notebook covered in sketch after sketch after sketch. The excitement prevalent on his face as he worked.
At her insinuation, he lets out a short, soft little chuckle, but she she leans against him, he lets an arm drape over her shoulder. He takes in many long breathes, she did feel good against him, oddly so, he thought. "Don't tell me you still haven't found a place?" He says with a kind smile, she likely knew all to well was him giving in. "You know very well, I don't stock juice at my house." He offers another teasing wink.

After a few moments of thought he lets out a small sigh. "You know I do not want to be on Ares bad side, so lets not tell him about this hmmm?" He says offering her raised brows in question. "It has been a while since you have had a "sleep over", are we going to put on masks?" He says in a very joking manner, but they had actually done a entire makeover of each other. Yet the look in his eyes and tone of his voice is far more lustful.
Niki smiled as she heard the compliment. "I do my best and usually that is the best."

However upon the request she stood stunned, Artemis's sudden departure didn't really sit will with her, not to mention how she was ordering her around.

"Look, I don't know what's going on but this." Niki gestured at Artemis. "It doesn't fly with me, I'm not some henchman." she kept her voice level. "You want my help, come to me as an equal. At least tell me why you're doing what you're doing."
Niki blinked. The whole display was odd to say the least but it showed that this was serious.

As Artemis ran off Niki had many thoughts but perhaps the most insignificant one rose to the surface, 'She knows I prefer Veronica...' she frowned, 'And why didn't she just tell him this morning...'. Niki figured that it was probably something she hadn't planned.

The girl frowned, now she had to find Apollo and take charge of an archery team. She could do it of course, nothing was beyond her capabilities. Niki grinned as she walked to the next class.
