Just as they reached Dionysus' apartment, Jie Huo's phone rang. His dark eyes grew cold and he confirmed he'd be where the person on the other end had said to be.
He turned to Apollo, "I'm sorry I have to bail on this search, my brother's been put into the hospital - good luck getting Artemis!"
Turning on his heel, Jie Huo bolted down the street at a speed no one of his weak physique should be capable of.

Niki frowned as she stood up straight, she grimaced at the pain in her bones as well as the memory of her fall. With a smile she realized she had a bit of time, she figured she could go and try out the bow and arrow. 'Hope I'm strong enough to pull back the bowstring...' she thought with pursed lips.
She tested her arm out as she walked out the classroom and made her way to try her hand at archery.

By the time you get to the archery field there are few people left, two in fact. One of them is busy shooting at a far away target, near bullseye almost every time. The other is a pretty woman who is sat on a bench near what you assume is the equipment shed, she is twiddling with a sharp arrow with a bow and a holder of flat arrows. She sees your approach and waves you over.
'If all of them are that good... Then I just have to be better. Perfect actually ', Niki thought with a frown.
As she saw the woman waving her over, Niki raised an eyebrow. 'Hmmm.. ', but she decided to comply anyway. If it turned out to be a bad situation she knew she could handle it.
"Uhm, hello." Niki said. "Do I know you?"

''No, I'm here to teach you how to shoot a bow and arrow and then I will teach you the art of archery, it's more than just a sport. There is an art to it, it's something that if you want to master you got to feel it in your bones. We start with flat tipped hollow plastic ones, then wood then steel and then we move onto sharp edged. While we do this the bows will also upgrade with higher tensile string and better material of the bow. Are you getting me?'' During the whole conversation she didn't seem to convey much emotion, positive or negative. It seemed that her main focus was getting her message across.
Niki frowned, but she knew when she was outclassed. It would be more prudent to learn and challenge later on. After all winning was usually a matter of persistence and patience.
"Yes, loud and clear." Niki said. "I understand."
Although this instructor could've been kinder, Niki knew that wasn't what would help her learn. Competence would carry her through and from Niki's perspective this woman seemed to know what she was doing. Which was more than enough reason to follow her orders... At least for now.

''Brilliant, lets go.'' She handed you a leather arrow carrier that held flat tipped plastic arrows, then a bow of what felt to be light material it felt good it your hands but you knew there were better ones.
''I'll show you then I'll tell you.'' As she got out her bow you could see the gears and bolts that went throughout it, you had seen a bow like this when Artemis came home wit one on her back. She cleaned it for 30 minutes the put it in a special case with a cloth around it. Your instructor then took out an arrow that you could see was sharp and steel. She notched and released the arrow in one swift move, it hit bullseye immediately.
''Stance prior to shooting the bow: Stand upright with feet shoulder width apart, and feet at 90 degrees to the target. Keep a relaxed grip on the bow handle. Position the fingers on the string with the index finger above the arrow and two fingers below. The string should sit in the last crease of your fingers. Do not grip the arrow with your fingers. Pull back the string using your back muscles, not your bicep/arm. Pull back the string so that the index finger of the pulling hand is under the chin, and the string touches your nose and lips. Aim, align and fire. Go do it twice.
Dionysus waves a hand to her as a gesture to make herself at home, she knew the place well enough, when the knocking starts he points to the fridge. "You need to eat, before you can express your gratitude." He teases with a playful wink as his tongue glides of his lips.
Dion was used to random people showing up at his house, even if he did not enjoy it, it was a hazard of the occupation. He flings the door open in an overly dramatic gesture fitting for the young man. "Was is all the knocking about? If you knock faster my legs don't move faster." He says with a teasing smile on his lips, yet an expectant one too.

Ok, so it wasn’t his smartest move. Infact, what he did was quite petty looking at it now. But just hearing the smug bastard and the way he treated women, no matter how shallow they themselves may be, really pissed him off. Without thinking, he pressed his phone to his ear and began to speak as if in a conversation as he rolled down the hall.
“Hey man did you see that cute blonde earlier? A little ruff around the edges but she looks nice at least. Yeah...mhmm...and that guy we saw her with....umm what was his name again? Oh yeah him.”
He had no idea who this jock jackwagon was. But he wanted nothing more than to piss the guy off for unknown reasons.
Then he began to wheel himself down the opposite direction of the hall. If he was going to die, he was going to die with sass on his lips.
