Let's get this party started

For the last few weeks you have suffered from strange goings on, emanating from yourself no less. Flashes of a time gone by, yet that exists in no history books plague your mind with you at the centre but you are not alone. You are surrounded by people that you have seen around the island on which you live ‘’Nesoi island’’, however in this dream of yours they are not just classmates or strangers… you’re family and they only seem to get stronger with every encounter with someone from these flashes.

In these dreams/memories you are the enslaver of humanity, a god. Untested, all powerful, feared and more or less obeyed by the humans whose spirits and rare rebellions you crush. Though not all memories are of destruction and chaos, among them are those warmth were you are with those you previously had only seen the odd time.

Recently however, the memories are accompanied by something else. Surges of power that leave you pained and confused, beyond your control most of the time and leaving only waves of sickness and pain they can confuse and excite you, but you know now you are very different from your peers.

You wake up this morning to the rays of the sun or the beeping of alarm clocks, your dreams least night were ones of battle and the quelling of a rebellion lead by humans you regularly see in your dreams as slaves you and your ilk rule over.

How do you start your day?
Nike, as you walk out the door you notice Artemis in the hallway that leads outside but she isn't alone, he's with her twin Apollo. They both give you a nod and a smile in unison before turning back to each other, never really socializing with people who aren't the other unless at their respective clubs. But as you go past them Artemis taps you on the shoulder her calm and serene voice that fills you with a sense of familiarity and happiness rings out.

''You were writhing around all night are you ok?''

By the time Dion got out of the house, it was already later afternoon, after all there was nothing for him in the morning hours, it was the night life he enjoyed.

As you go outside the streets are busy and fast moving with cars zooming past, phones ringing and people chatering, yet nothing does anything to irritate the hangover you should have but lack all the same. You see a few people you recognise but no one of note until you see a frequent customer, Ares. He walks up to you with a grin and a well hidden wad of notes.

''Hey Dion, I'll have the usual. And uh... something for stress while you're at it man.'' He takes a few cursory glances around but no one is taking any notice.
''I'm great, thank you.'' She leaned against the wall her brown hair that was usually tied back fell around her left shoulder.'' I am also wondering if you would like to join the archery club? Goodness knows we're low on people and I'm the captain so I hold recruiting rights.'' She was known for her unbeatable aim and regularly challenged people to beat it, it would be a 'difficult victory but a solid one' was what she would say. Almost as if calling out for your need to win.

Then, after it had cooled, he set his hand upon the cheek of the metallic figure before him and pondered.

''You get better and better every time you know?'' The metalworking teacher Mr. Lewis a gruff and muscly man strode into the room that he unlocked early for you. ''I wish I could take credit but I can't, you're just a natural. Though you might want to get ready, her majesty is on her way.'' 'her majesty' was a term for Aphrodite, Mr. Lewis' daughter. Someone you feel you have never met,yet the name rings deep in your soul.
Nike wrote:
She didn't hate Artemis, this wasn't even about her. The main thing Niki had on her mind was the challenge itself, and the sweet taste of victory after she inevitably won.

Though the thought of victory crossed your mind apollo's expression said a lot, he had never seen anyone beat his sister and she was always getting better. Though he had never seen you, Artemis looks at you good heartedly. Her seemingly silver eyes locked onto yours.

''Every club meeting is a competition, so bring your 'A' game.'' With that Artemis and Apollo, who had been unusually quiet leave out the front door of the building with their usual jog always having somewhere to be. Which signaled they had in fact been waiting for you to appear.
Dionysus wrote:
"You are ready then? I heard the odds are in your favor, don't let me down, I have money riding on the game." He says with his cool casual smile. "I will be seeing you Friday at the big bash after the, right?" Seeming to already know the answer, he continues his walk and swats Ares ass, as if he was a football player on the team, in a far to casual manner, as he continues his stroll to the campus.

No one who has met you was really surprised by your casual manner instead the took it all in their stride. As you make your way to the campus you notice the jovialness of all the students as they prepare banners and decorations and the cheerleaders do their obnoxiously rhythmic and pepy cheer.

From the entrance of the campus is a massive courtyard with a fountain in the middle where all the paths from the different parts of the colossal building converge. To the left of the open entrance is the design and technology block to the left is languages, geography and history right ahead maths and english with the science block being its own building from the old college and the sports building being the brand new one complete with racing tracks archery field and multiple areas for different sports.

Soon enough he had cleaned up his station and set his blowtorch off to the side. The only remaining item was the bust itself that he could not, as of now, bring himself to touch again.

As if on cue an unearthly beautiful woman arrived her strikingly blonde hair bouncing on her shoulders and she walked with a spring in her step, wine coloured lips and milky skin shining in the sun that flooded through the windows. Yet despite this not a shred of make up was on her, that was for others less pretty she always felt.

''Hello my adoring fans'' Her voice rang out like a wind chime or wind though an old temple, beautiful and unmistakable. However one thing caught your eye, a bump right where a flat stomach should be from all her activities.

''Who's this?'' As her eyes turn to you a pit of both sweet happiness and cold dread fills your stomach and heart. Now you know who has been in these dreams of your and whose likeness you weld, but you can't bring yourself to remember her before today.
Jonathan Burns wrote:
“Oh um hello, I am Matthew I’m a student here. How are you today?”He asked as calm as he could without stuttering. At that moment he very well wished the earth would swallow him whole. He felt nervous and shaky, yet somehow deep inside there was this bitterness twords this woman before him. A bile similar to betrayal that he had frankly no right to have as theyed never met before.

She blushed and looked away at the bow, her icy blue eyes finding the far wall very interesting as her pale cheeks took on a rosy pink hue.

''I'm great, can't complain. You must be the prodigy then, dad never shuts up about you and your work... speaking of which.'' She walked up to the bust with an expression of awe. ''Who is this supposed to be?'' Finally her eyes met yours before she abruptly pulled back hand on the base of her back as she rightened it.

With this Mr. lewis spoke up. ''Everyone out! I've got a lesson to prepare for, unfortunately none of them have either of you two in them.'' He usher you both out leaving you two alone with each other.
Nike wrote:
A smile formed on her lips as she began to run, then it became a full-blown sprint.

For a few seconds it seems as if your going faster than you ever have, the wind is whipping past you and you zoom past everyone else. But then like a brick wall the sickness from earlier stops you in your track, you're sent to the ground right outside the college campus just shy of the courtyard and an ache courses through you.
Jonathan Burns wrote:

“...I don’t know who she is.”

''Whoever she is she's a beauty.'' A touch of scorn crosses her face and a lower voice almost to herself she says. ''I'd love to meet her if she goes here or lives on the island.'' With that and a final smile to you she walks away, or more of a sashay really leaving you alone free to wander around or prepare for your first lesson of the day that takes you up to break. Math, though there is little time by now to wander.

'Damn it!!
The girl frowned as she walked into the campus, she'd need to find a bathroom to make sure she looked fine.

As you go towards the bathroom the closest one being in the design and technology block sending you past the metalworking hall, making you cross paths with a boy in a brand new and good looking wheelchair. As you do a flash of remembrance crosses your mind much like with Artemis but unlike her in the fact it was very clear.

There he was over a forge hammering away at something you were waiting eagerly for pacing back and forth, your wings twitching impatiently. At which point he shows it to you, a wreath but not like any other, this was gold and every piece was hammered together.

Tossing his small backpack into the grass, and using it to prop his head on, he would lay in the shade, seeming far to comfortable and calm for most college students. This was enhanced today, it just felt like he was on top of the world, even all these students seemed as if they were under him some how, as if they were simply mundane.

Not long after you sit down you notice the blonde haired beauty that is aphrodite pass by, once a customer she suddenly cut contact without explanation. Though now it made sense she was eating for two and she didn't want to get high for two, she did however flash you a smile and a wave as there had never been any bad blood she just didn't want to continue.

However as she flashes you a smile a thought goes through your mind about how she just isn't a customer, she's so much more. Eventually she comes up to you not really caring about classes and punctuality and takes a seat next you, carefully getting to the ground using your shoulder to steady herself.

''You look both extremely content and you had one of your roughest nights last night, I was there, but I didn't drink. I don't want an ugly baby.'' She had told you not long after her first party with you about her real self, having figured that you had seen her low, high, drunk and in the throws of ecstasy. to her there was no point being pepy and sweet in front of you, though she was still a nice person... just real.
Nike wrote:
"You..." Niki smiled. "I mean... Who are you?"

She looked down at the boy in the wheelchair, a flash of familiarity and admiration struck her. The memories left her confused but feelings she had lingered.

"Sorry, let me start over." she shook her head. "I'm Niki, have we met before?"

((Hephaestus can respond to this if he wants, you guys can talk to each other all you want and I'll provide the outside stuff and possible interruption))
At this point you both begin to notice the halls filling up, much time had passed whether it was from being caught in memories longer than you thought or stopping to talk to people. You both realise that if you have any plans now would be a good time to execute them.
Dionysus wrote:
Blinking it away, he offers another smile and shakes his head. "Of course having an ugly child, would force you to change your ways." He says teasing her about her narcissism, another of their shared traits, nudging her arm with his elbow playfully. "Doesn't mean you can't say hello on occasion. You do have that wonderful glow of a mother to be." He says buttering her up with an unneeded compliment. "You should come out on Friday night, I will bring you some apple juice." He says in a teasing manner.

''Apple juice? Apple juice? Fuck off! And yes the thought of an ugly child would get me to change my ways, I have seen some ugly kids and it's like they are staring into your soul. It's disconcerting as all hell, my child will not be like that Dion.'' By now her voice and face had reached a comical level of seriousness, her eyes staring you dead. ''Imagine if you were to get with someone and god forbid you have a child with them, how would you feel if it was ugly?''

''Anyway onto a different subject because this is making me manic, have you heard about the new museum opening?'' She looked at you with a half smile, she always had a secret love for history.

“It was nice talking to you miss but I’ve got to get to my classes. I’ve yet to be late to one and I’m not starting today.”
He told her as politely as he could. He then gave her a nod of acknowledgment and began to roll down the hall and out the exit. He seemed in a rush to get somewhere really fast.[/quote]

As you leave the design and technology block you note how there is a full light, instead of the partial light when you first came in to work on the bust. The grounds are busy as everyone fast walks to get to class for early prep, or those who have no suck obligations taking their time. To the diagonal left of you is the math block, across the massive courtyard.

As she watched him wheel away she frowned, it was the same foreign familiarity that she felt with Artemis. Shaking her head she decided to focus on what she had actually come to do. Breakfast was out of the question but she figured she would stop by the bathroom and make sure she looked fine, although no one had said anything she wanted to confirm.

As you make your way to the bathroom looking in the mirror, you notice only a slight dusting of dirt across your top and a few hairs out of place nothing else of note. At which point the bathroom door opens and a few girls walk in though no one of note or certainly not enough of note for you. Though this does somehow remind you of your first class, Sports science.
Nike wrote:
Sports Science wasn't something she directly enjoyed, but it would give her an edge in sports. Whether it would keep her from injury or give her an advantage in training, this class was extremely useful. She shook her thoughts out of her mind as she walked in taking a seat front and centre of the class. She took out her phone and inspected it for damage, figuring it was fine she then prepared to take notes.

As you prepare to take notes the class is half filled and Mr. halbeard comes in, a former drill sergeant in the marines he is both your sports science and most outside sport classes teacher

As a sports major your lessons are split into different activities, ball sports (basketball, tennis, football etc), gym (treadmill, weights etc), wellbeing (cardio, yoga etc), the miscellaneous outside activities (Track, cross country, the occasional archery, wall climbing and other things they can think of) and sports science.

As the teacher comes in muscled, tall, no fat and with a terminally grim face, he meets eyes with you and in his arms you notice the test paper from last week. You think you see a hint of a smile on his face before he gives you yours, full marks. But that's new, he makes it so that the max you can get is 90% by putting questions of things you haven't studied. He also says ''see me after class.''
