Jie Huo is an odd person, to say the least. He has a fascination with death and aspires to work in morgues after obtaining a medical license.
Underneath the weird exterior, Jie Huo does have some normalcy though it only really shines through to his roommate Hypnos - his oldest friend. If someone were to grow closer to him, perhaps this side of Jie Huo wouldn't be so exclusive.
