General Rules:
1. Be kind. While it's impossible to prevent everyone from taking offense at something you say, try and be polite when you post. Don't demean others or their characters, critique, don't criticize, etc. To put it simply, just don't be mean.
2. Invite. While this is not necessary, it would be greatly appreciated if you spread the word and got some more of your friends to join. This is especially important while we are still small.
3. Keep all posts PG 13. While some light occasional cursing is permitted it is not encouraged. Keep all sexual topics out as well. If it isn't suitable for the rest of the site it doesn't belong here, either.
Critique Rules:
4. Critique, don't criticize. Constructive criticism and reviews of characters are all good things, when done with kindness. Do not demean the creator or character, describe any of their work as "dumb, stupid, bad," etc, and remember the point of the forum is to help them. You may also include what you like about the character and if you think they should develop that tidbit more.
5. Don't argue. If someone posted a critique you disagree with or think was rude, don't reply back and argue - it will only create more problems. You may report the comment if it is bullying, but if you simply disagree with what they said it's best to accept they have different opinions and keep your character how you like them.
6. Specify. If you only want a certain part of your character critiqued, such as their personality, powers or history, then say so in the title or the post to avoid misunderstandings.
