The Carmichaels are a tightly-knit family, but they've survived their fair share of mishaps. They've managed to overcome the divorce of their parents, their father's gender transition, losing their home and having to relocate to the other side of the country! Nonetheless, they've done it all with love for one another and a bright outlook on life. That is, until the Wallaces came about...

The Wallaces were the one family everyone wanted to be, until the Carmichaels came along. Seeing how well they got along with divorced parents living together and raising their children in an orderly fashion immediately won the hearts of the townsfolk, much to the chagrin of the Wallaces. Inevitably, a bit of a rivalry stirred up between the two families, forcing the townsfolk to feel the need to choose sides. The children of both families understand their parents' aggression towards each other, but certain interactions may end up putting their feud to an end... or worsening it to a far deeper degree.
