However, a large chunk of the Empire seeking to overthrow the Emperor secede, separating Rome into the Julianus (larger, more well equipped faction still loyal to the Emperor), and the Scipionis (smaller, worse equipped faction looking to overthrow Emperor). The Empire is in turmoil, and Emporer Maximus Faustus is willing to do whatever it takes to reunite his Empire*
