Hey I'm Mags. I've been RPing since I was able to talk, basically, and though I'm new to this format... I think I've settled in really well to multi-para writing.

I've always wanted to do historical RPs, sometimes with a fantasy element, but most of the time I gravitate to Crime, Drama, and Romance. I prefer the 20th Century over all, but I'm confident enough to RP many time periods from the 16th-19th Centuries as well.

A little about me? I'm American, I'm gay, and I'm a real film buff. My favorite films are all historical/20th Century crime or horror flicks as well, who would have guessed? :3
Just realised I completely forgot to introduce myself, haha.

I'm David and fairly new to RPing, but have been acting and writing all my life. I tend to get carried away with writing, especially when it comes to details, so my RP partners often find a wall of text in their inbox. :P

I've only done historical RP so far, as I've always been obsessed with history and making up all sorts of people who lived in the past. I'm a sucker for RP that basically takes place in the same setting as Downton Abbey; a lot of rich people dealing with rich people problems and rich people drama. I'm fine with RP in any time between the 18th century and the 1940s.

I'm from Slovenia and gay, and apart from RPing, writing and acting I'm also interested in music, fashion, gaming, psychology and educating myself, which is why I'm mostly sucking up Wikipedia articles. The 16 presonalities test categorizes me as INFP.

I hope we can all get to know eachother and have a lot of fun together! :D
Hello everyone, nice to meet you!

You can just call me Pluto.
I have been Roleplaying since 2013 and was kind of forcefully dragged into beginning this fun activity by my American internet friends. It was a big step for me on improving my English like no method I've used before. I would only rely on closest friends because first of all, I was shy; secondly, I had an irrational fear of making grammatical mistakes and using incorrect phrases while writing. Now it's 2018 and look at me RP with random people I came across on the internet, so proud of my myself.
I have always been in love with history, therefore I find writing my own historical adventures to be very thrilling and enjoyable. Any era is really fine by me, though recently I'm more interested in early 20th century.

My overall personal interests are drawing, music, writing, swimming, diving, studying new languages and reading.
I'm currently majoring Japanese Teaching in university. Besides the language, I'm also crazy about the Japanese culture and history.

Another fact, I'm Bi.

Thank you for reading my introduction!
Hello everyone, I'm Shelby!

I have been roleplaying since 2013 and have always loved historical roleplays. I have characters ranging from the Middle Ages to the late 20th century, and despite the two characters I have online contain supernatural elements I can play them as like regular, normal people in their respective eras.

Typically I think my strongest eras are mid 1800's to 1900's, but I am flexible and can rp in almost any time you'd like to put me in.

My other interests include theatre and acting, drawing, reading, and watching movies. Also, I'm bisexual and live in America. The MBTI test lists me as ENFP. Umm that's about all I can think to say, I'm very excited to meet you all and look forward to roleplaying with you! Thank you for reading!
G'day everyone!

Good to see some history buffs here! My interests are 20th Century diplomacy and wars, and medieval European societies, culture, and such.

My RP experience dates back to my D&D tabletop days, and my forum RP writing got its start in Lord of the Rings sites in the last decade. It was my primary RP genre until comig here to RPR where I met some amazing writers and have branched out in modern and historical. I have written a World War 2 historical RP with someone over a few years, and plan on introducingmy character Sgt Steiner here on RPR when I get a chance to get his character sheet done.

My interests are music, old movies, and brewing beer to name a few. I'm a hetero WOG (white old guy) who'se seen a bit in life, and currently work as an electrician. Thanks for creating this group and allowing me to be a part of it.

Edit: It doesn't seem much is happening here, and I haven't even got started on a RP and doubt I will anytime soon. The best plans of men and all... anyweay, cleaning up my profile so I will say adieu...
Hello!

Thank you for accepting my request to join! I'm Aine, or Anne (whichever you prefer). I'm hoping to find a few like-minded folks here who might be interested in non-fantasy, historically based role-play. I don't currently have any characters drawn up for such as it really hasn't come up yet, but I'm hoping that will change soon.

Looking forward to meeting some new people!
Hi everyone! I will probably mostly end up lurking, but I really loved this idea for a group. When it comes to non-fantasy RP, I prefer expies over pure, real-world historical settings, but I'm flexible. My favorite time periods are medieval and iron age, but I am also down with higher Renaissance settings.

Give me all the gay knights, please.
Greetings!

My fascination with history stems from old tried and true sources of the 19th and 20th centuries. The Englightenment, Napoleonic, and Victorian eras specifically. Ive dabbleded a bit into the Middle Ages to the 17th century. But currently, Im looking to push the envelope of my comfort zone and tackle ancient time periods.

I prefer long form RP, with carefully crafted worlds, and thick volumes of lore on them. Am a big fan of Alt History as well, and have run many a campaign in that regard. I find a healthy dose of fiction keeps it all fresh!

Looking forward to meeting you all.
Nice to meet you all.

I'm currently wrapping up a history degree and my knowledge is all over the place, although I have a particular interest in medical history (see: my resurrection men). In terms of RP preferences, alternate history is fun, and I'm comfortable writing anywhere between the 8th and 19th centuries. My favourite genres are horror and adventure.

At the moment I don't have enough free time to roleplay, but I'd be glad to dig through my notes and share weirdly specific history facts with everyone, if that's something you'd be interested in.
woops, double post?
