Angelo looked around for a moment and saw a nice fat mark nearby but he was flanked by guards on either side. He looked towards a gazebo and saw some youngsters talking by a sword. He then smiled already having a plan in mind. He then went towards the youngsters his hand on the handle of the sword as he asked "Do any of you youngsters want to make a gold coin? If you go over and piss off that mans guards I'll give you one" he offered them thinking that loosing a single gold coin wouldn't hurt him in the long run when he was about to make even more.
Hearing this exchange in his mind, Cassius made sure to commit it to memory. It would come in handy for research. When the serving wench came over he smiled at her and handed her a silver piece, telling her to keep the change. He then dug into the meal, planning to eat quickly and begin his day. As he ate he looked out at the other patrons and noticed a large Goliath woman receiving breakfast from a visibly frightened serving wench. Cassius scarfed down his food, then stood and went over to the Goliath woman with his morning ale in hand. "Good morning!" He greeted her, "what brings you to our fine town?"
Beregash smiled up at the innkeeper's wife, a lovely lass that he'd taken for a roll in the hay some weeks ago. She'd smiled back at him, fond memories in mind, but in her husband's sight could not throw herself at him. Nor, as he found out to his dismay, could he charm himself into a free breakfast.
"Ah, lass, always good t'see ya," he drawled, throwing a pair of silvers up and onto the bar top, the coins landing neatly on their edges and spinning a few times before clattering to lay flat. "Coffee, I think, with bacon, three goose eggs, a fine chunk of that lovely sour-dough bread that your establishment is famous for, and perhaps a filet of salmon, if you have any."
Placing his order, which was well paid-for by the coin, Beregash found a seat near the fireplace, the fire just getting up to speed. It was good to be in that spot, as it afforded him a place to stand and be seen by most of the tavern's patrons. This was important, as he'd brought his lute down with him.
Humming to himself as he tuned the strings, he thought of what to sing. Several naughty tunes came to mind, but it was too early in the day for that sort of bawdy entertainment. Perhaps after lunch.
Clearing his throat and standing, he began to pluck at the strings as he sang a tune out into the room, his small frame projecting remarkably well.
Dreams of thunder and ruin
Future and past
Fiery rain from the sky
Heavens crying in fear
"This ends now!"
Electric blade
Heart burning against the dark
Too late? Not late enough?
Shadows and purple...
Suddenly he stopped. It was the dream he'd had last night. But the more he sang about it, the more... Real... It felt.
He looked around at the gathering patrons, a confused look on his face. Was he going crazy?

((I don't think we are until we actually get into the adventure proper, but Coltshan can verify))
Beragash stood, mouth agog. The human had just told him details... Of his dream.
His lute nearly dropped to the floor, but the gnome redoubled his grip on the instrument's neck before it fell. Stepping from the raised stone platform surrounding the fireplace, he walked over to the short-haired human.
With a voice barely above a whisper, he looked at the man and said, "What... What did you say?"
Placing the lute on the table, he climbed onto a chair and added, "How do you know what happened in my dream?"

Beragash noted the patrons' applause but didn't react; he was still confused as to how it was possible that he and this human had the same dream.
Instead, he sat, slack-jawed, as the man showed him a drawing, that looked... Exactly like his dream.
Dream; vision, says the man. Perhaps it was, if they both saw the same thing.
"I... I don't know what it means. I thought it was just a rather vivid dream, brought on by a late night and perhaps too much wine. Do you recognize any of the features of the dr-- Vision?" he asked, the volume of his voice rising as he spoke.

"Who are you talking about?", the female Aasimar under his guidance continued to ask, unsure what to think of the whole situation. Why was he being so roundabout about things right now? That was not his usual manner at all. It was, 'do this', 'do that', 'go there', 'fight that' - and now, all of a sudden, he was indecisive? This level of hesitance naturally did not go by unnoticed by the woman that had been under his influence for more or less her whole life, causing her to become very uncertain about her future prospects.
It was quite clear that, if there was a great evil around, that the woman, still a young girl in so many aspects, would not sit by idly until it was gone.

"We can look into this, but we must be careful, we cannot upset the balance by our own tampering too much."

with deft hands you swiftly untie the coin pouch and secret it away without too much suspicion as the noble failed to realiuze it's disappearance until he reached into his pocket to pay for a fine bolt of cloth.
Leo/Nackle
But alas there was no such chivalrous champion. Although rumors from nearby patrons speak of a God Hunt, some band of mortals were trying to slay a god to take it's power and immortality.

Marc overheard Leonardo and walked over to him, confused.
"You've also had a strange visionlike dream?" He asked, interested, "I have too... maybe this is some sort of sign."

"If there is such a strong being lurking around, then I am afraid that the balance has already tipped, depending on its intentions."
The Aasimar clenched her fists before standing up and bowing to Mykiel with a beautiful smile. Really, if she did not don her full armor everywhere she went as well as dirtying her face every morning, she would have no end of suitors trying to vie for her.
"Thank you for your answers. I will get ready for the day and see what I can find out."
Tucking her rosary back into her garments, letting the cold silver rest on her bare skin, Rose finally got around to applying the dirt-makeup onto her face to make herself look more human as well as donning her armour, leaving only the helmet and weapons in the room before heading downstairs and attempting to get a meal for herself while trying to figure out more about her vision as well as listening to whatever was talked down in the tavern area.
