Seated, the food and drink sates your appetite sufficiently, you feel ready to face the day.
Cassius's ears twitched slightly, then rotated in the direction of Beregash and Leo. His interest was peaked upon hearing Leo's confession of being a fugitive. At that he began to make his way over, but did so slowly as to A: not cause a stir, and B: hear the rest of what Leo and those around him we're saying. Apparently there was a shared vision being discussed among three people. An interesting thing that warranted looking into, as well as Leo's illicit adventures. "Sorry to interrupt," spoke Cassius when he had reached them, "but I couldn't help but over hear you." He stood before the three of them, clad in plate armor like the Knight Leo had just spoken of, shield equipped in his left hand and sword in it's sheathe, his red Draconic wings flexing slightly as he made his presence known. A steel Dragon pendant hung from his neck, marking him as a member of Bahamut's faithful. "You spoke of a vision you share? Some kind of mad sorcerer? "
Eating her meal quietly nearby, Rose did her best to seem inconspicuous while eavesdropping on the rather wild mix that was talking at a nearby table. Something about a vision. Possibly others that had received the same? Curious, the female Aasimar shuffled closer to hear the others better without drawing their intention too much. Thankfully they were far too invested in their conversation right now to really bother with the clunky attempt of the plated paladin trying to be sneaky around them.

Did they know more about what had been shown to them?

Cassius gave a disappointed sigh. Why do they always try to lie?

"Sir, you may not have put together my armor and the crest of Bahamut around my neck, but I one of his Paladins. As such it does not behoove you to lie to me, for I will see through all such attempts. Now you can tell me about this vision here, in this nice, warm, and friendly environment, or I can take you down to the brig, where it is cold, damp, and lonely, and you can tell me there. Before you protest," Cassius spoke, cutting anyone off who may have been just about to speak, "know that I have heard your confessions of thievery and running from the law, and am well within my rights to arrest you here and now! So, what is it going to be?" Cassius straightened his back and flexed his wings, striking a rather imposing figure.

with deft hands you swiftly untie the coin pouch and secret it away without too much suspicion as the noble failed to realiuze it's disappearance until he reached into his pocket to pay for a fine bolt of cloth.

Angelo grinned as he made the Swift motion thanks to years of practice and took the nobleman's haul. He walked to a nearby alleyway and he opened the pouch to see his earnings for the day and see if he could donate some of it to the orphanage.
"If you are hungry then I will not begrudge you some food. I warn you though, attempt to flee and you'll find yourself in irons faster than you can blink!" With that Cassius would call for a serving wench, and place an order for some warm bread for Leo, as well as some mead. Once done Cassius would return his attention to Leo. "Now, tell me everything about this vision you and your friends here seem to share."

Cassius listens intently to the arteficer's tale, his eyes going wide as he quotes verbatim the very same vision that he saw. "You are certain of these things?" asked in disbelief. "You are absolutely sure that this vision played how exactly as you said?" He detected no lies coming from the man, which made him all the more uneasy. What could it mean that multiple people, including a Paladin of Bahamut, had shared such a vision? Could it be that some unearthly force was trying to band them together? Pushing them to unite and stop a seemingly prophetic dream from coming true? Cassius needed answers, and he needed them now. He kept control of himself however, and let nothing of this inner strife show. He had learned from his mentor that a stoic face was best when conversing with those you intend to arrest. All that was present on his expression was a sincere and interested curiosity.
..
"While it is true that noble Knight's and Paladins like myself are the ones who save the day in stories, it is not true that only they can do so. If you have been granted this vision, along with these two, then it is a matter that demands exploration. I will wait for you to recieve and finish your meal, and then we are going to the Platinum Fortress, my church. There, you and I, and any who wish to accompany," he said looking to Beregash and Marc, "are going to find some answers, particularly about that sword."
..
Cassius laughed a harty laugh. "Sir, you clearly misunderstood me. You are an admitted thief and fugitive speaking to a Paladin of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon of light and justice. At no point did I say you could go free, and indeed you may not. As of this moment you are under arrest, and will accompany me as my prisoner. I will leave your hands unbound for now however so that you may eat your food in comfort."
