The Alola region, a beautiful and tropical region known for its stunning views, delicious food, unique and strange Pokemon, and of course, for Camp Metapod. This tiny island off the coast of Ula'Ula Island hosted this much loved summer camp during the month of August with its founder hoping to help campers and staffers alike forge some unbreakable bonds. This time, roughly 60 campers had made their way towards the island in hopes of having fun with their fellow campers. As per the usual, the campers were being gathered in the orientation hall where the founder would give some information regarding this year's camp.

Stepping up to a podium was large, heavily built man with an adorable Butterfree resting on his head. "Welcome to Camp Metapod, my friends. I am Thomas Meyers, founder of the camp and I will be one of the many counselors here today. I hope you all will enjoy your time at this wonderful camp and I hope you will make plenty of friends while you're here." He paused for a moment, looking across the many faces in the hall.

"Now, I'm sure you have all read the rules.. while we don't have too many, the one I want to go over is the first and biggest rule. Specifically, the one talking about bringing purposeful harm to others. Now, I understand that accidents happen every so often.. I'm not meaning that if your training goes wrong and you accidentally hit someone with a Water Gun, but I'm talking about purposely having your Pokemon use Thunderbolt someone, attacking somebody with the intent of hurting them. If we catch you doing so, there is a very real chance of you going home... now that we've got that clear, let's head down to the mess hall. It's just about time for lunch, after we eat, I'll begin to assign you to your cabins as we eat. After lunch and after I assign cabins, I want to report to your cabins and introduce yourselves to your fellow campers and counselors." After that, he stepped away from the podium and began heading for the mess hall.

Among the campers in the crowd was an Alola native named Jonah, in his arms was a sweet little Ribombee that wore a smile as excited as her trainer's and more surprisingly, a Nihilego wrapped around his waist. "The founder is a lot... bigger than I had expected him to be, though he seems pretty nice. What do you two say about getting lunch?" Jonah asked them, grinning happily. Receiving happy nods from the two Pokemon, he begun to follow the founder and a few other campers to the mess hall, excited to see what they've got to offer for the first meal. The food was one of the reasons he signed up for the camp originally.

Rose followed the group as well her sylveon following her wondering if the food was going to be as good as Luminous City's food and she sat down away from the group at the Caterpie Table but was still at the long table and patted the seat next to her for her Sylvie to jump onto and she petted Sylvie, The sylveon's ribbon wrapping around her arm
Also among the campers was a rather excitable trainer from the region of Kanzasu. May was practically bouncing around with excitement, a huge grin on her face as she listened to the apparent founder of the camp speak. She clutched the Raichu in her arms in an eager manner, just wanting to get these introductions over with so she could explore everything this camp had to offer. Her Raichu seemed to be just as excited as she was. Keeping that grin on her face, she headed for the mess hall as instructed, humming happily. "This place already seems so awesome! I can't wait to try the food!" she spoke to her Raichu with a slight hum in her voice. Her Raichu made a few eager noises, seemingly agreeing with her.
Hanging out sort of by the back of the trainers was Tiggs, nervously petting what at first might appear to be a rock. She had heard of this camp on her travels and thought it'd be something different, give her some chances to make friends, and see what other styles of battles people did. Seemed like everyone had a Pokemon out and with them, and like the others, she did as well. A little pink and white Corsola was in her arms, the coral branches on his body relaxed and tapering into fine points, small bubbles lazily being blown from his mouth and floating up a few inches before popping.

The idea of food both excited and made Tiggs nervous. She can see a couple of the other campers and one looks... wow, really excitable, and the other seems... well, like an average person, so far. Twirling loose strands of pink hair around her fingers, the young lady wanders slowly near the back of the group, bubbles trailing behind her from Cocoro. "This will be good for us, I think we could all use some practice," she says, trying to be encouraging to herself, because there was a lot she was lacking when it came to interactions with others, and to encourage her water/rock type, who had some awesome sounding moves... but was too shy to use them. Sighing, the shy seeming trainer fidgeted with her hair again, feeling like it was somehow uneven.
