It stood, setting the blade over it's shoulder. "I believe that is is some form of confection. Cotton candy, if I am correct." It said, tapping it's foot against the ground as it looked around at all the people, still apprehensive, but ready for the tournament.
You know of it?" Looked at Wand. "Have you tried it before? I think I would like to try it at least once" Looked around at the stalls to see if they still had some remaining
"Oh yeah, it's pretty popular. No doubt they'd still have some left" Psy smiled, before standing up. "I'm going to go check out the rides. I'll meet you at the tournament arena when they call for us"
Psy left the pair alone, walking off to experience what rides the festival had to offer

It walked over to a stall, purchased a stick of cotton candy, and handed it to Shinkaku. "No, I have not." It said, seeing as it had no sense of taste, and therefore would be a waste to try some.
Smiled brightly at Wand and sampled it.making a face of disgust "Fuck that is way too sweet."
It sighed, shaking it's head. "Language." It said simply, reprimanding her as there were children nearby.
"Well,it's called Cotten Candy for a Reason",Neo said while coming to the Wander and Aaricia."Besides it's a carnival, where junk and sweet thing exist to kill you..."
"Tch I would like a savoury item" Pouts milldy and sets the candy thing aside and looked at the rest "Hm so what time does the tournament begin?"
Java walked through the festival, her two weapons, "Bold" and "Full bodied", a flintlock pistol and whip alike, both already strapped into their holsters. There was rarely a time where she didn't have her weapons on her, anymore. She'd been on one too many missions, spent one too many times unprepared, and she'd learned from those mistakes. As she walked, she couldn't help but overhear someone who sounded familiar. Perhaps they went to the same academy? It wasn't unlikely.
"Heya" Java spoke, walking over to Aaricia "You wouldn't happen to be a Beacon Academy huntress, would you? You look pretty familiar, as all"

Laughed softly and leaned down to eye the girl "Oh? I am sure I have seen you around before" Smiled slightly "Yes I am. These are my friends here, Wand and Neo... Psy is around somewhere I believe. Are you part of team two then?" Offered the girl my cotton candy which i had barely taken a nibble from
"Yeah, J.I.V.Y, which consists of Indie, Van, Yel and myself" Java smiled, looking over at Wanderer "You guys entering the tournament? we are. When we first heard that the Vytal Festival was being hosted in Vale this time around, we all decided that we were going to sign up, no matter what"
It raised a hand in a sort of half-wave towards Java, suspicious of her. "Correct." It said in response to her question.
"Relax Wan... she does not smell suspicious" I smirk as I sit down and relax my eye colour shifting ever so slightly. Not many people cared to interact with me not while I had my tail and horns out along with the bones... which weirdly enough many assumed was armor.
Yel walked through the festival, playing with his yoyos, "Dawn" and "Dusk", the unassuming weapons both not glowing in that instance as no dust was inside of them. Yel happened to see Java, and quickly rushed over.
"Fancy seeing you here!" Yel smiled as he walked over to her, a warm and bubbly smile on his face. He immediately noticed the two peculiar people that Java was talking to, and decided to introduce himself. He held out his hand, expecting a hand shake. "Hey, I'm Yel Solis, Java's friend! Pleasure to meet you"

Gripped Yel's hand with my clawed one and gave him a firm handshake "Pleasure to meet you." Smirked from my spot eyeing the two teammates.
It was off-put by Yel's energy, simply nodding from where it was behind Shinkaku. It was still uncertain how to react to the two of them, settling it's hand on the hilt of it's sword.
Gently settled my hand atop Wan's and made a small comforting circle on it. Something I grew accustomed to doing whenever he had trouble with people around. I had also been in a similar situation but over the years exposure to people had made me slightly better at dealing with the overly enthusiastic
Java's frown faltered slightly. Wanderer seemed... suspicious of her, almost. But why though? Could it have been her faunus heritage that made him uncomfortable? Surely not, the only thing that gave her away was her scaled hands, which were covered by gloves. Did she say something wrong? Or maybe this person just didn't trust easily? Java didn't know, but quickly she was becoming... uncomfortable in this situation.
"W-well," Java spoke, somewhat confused "I'm just glad that we have some strong teams representing Beacon within the tournament... anyway, it was nice meeting you guys. I'm going to continue to explore"
Java gestured towards Yel, trying to show that she wasn't exactly the most comfortable at the moment in the subtlest way possible, before beginning to walk off, trying to act calm and casual.

Yel picked up on her queue quickly.
"Oh, yeah nah me too" Yel spoke, shooting an apologetic smile, before rushing over to Java "Hey, Java, you okay?"
Yel could tell that something about the pair had really thrown her off, and tried to comfort her, as much as he could.
"I'm sure that whatever they did, they didn't mean it"

It was confused that they left, but also slightly relieved. It relaxed it's grip with a quiet sigh, nodding slightly. "Sorry." It said to Shinkaku, lowering it's hand from the hilt.
It watched them leave as it did, uncertain why Java seemed so panicked.
