Psy and the shield guy were in battle, the shield guy's aura much higher than Psy, Psy having fallen heavily behind in this fight. He was quickly being overwhelmed, and anyone observing such would be able to tell.

It was momentarily distracted by her yell, turning to look at her, accidentally cancelling out it's attack. It quickly turned it's attention back to the fight, hoping that it's opponent hadn't taken advantage of it's momentary lapse in concentration.
