OOC:// Hello, Lilic! This is for your character to roleplay their arrival at Mystic Studies Institute if you wish!
The sleek black car slowly pulled up in front of the foreboding institution, it's imposing walls towering above. A pair of black cloaked guards stood watch by the stern entrance way, only furthering a sense of unease. The vehicle pulled to an abrupt halt near the entrance, and the driver glanced back at the small figure in the back of the car.

"We're here, please exit the vehicle," she said in a practiced, monotone voice. Her cold eyes betrayed no emotion as she got out of the car and stood, her feet sinking slightly into the soft earth. "Hurry it up, we have many things to do," she muttered.
Lilic got out of the car, her eyes fixated on the huge, foreboding, and cold building. The place made her uneasy and scared. She rubbed her palms together, and felt sweat. She reluctantly began to walk towards it, scared of what could be inside.
If the driver noticed the young girl's fear, she didn't show it. She led her up to the front entrance, and gave each of the guards a curt nod. They opened the pair of double doors, revealing a large, pristine foyer with a desk and a few seating arrangements.

"Take a seat, a doctor will be with you shortly," she said, before heading back out the front entrance. The doors shut behind her with a menacing thud, leaving Lilic alone in the large room.
Lilic jumped as the door slammed. She studied the small room, but found nothing of interest. It reminded her of her own doctor, dr. Martin. She had liked him. He had given her sweets when she toke her shots nicely, or a smiley face sticker. Now she wondered if she would ever get to see him again, or her parents.

As she was thinking she had unconsciously formed a shard of glass, and as it clattered onto the floor, shd jumped. " No." She whispered, and then said it again, louder. Her power only brought pain and trouble. She was determined not use it unless she had to. She finally sat in the chair, waiting for the new doctor.
Leigha Amerson believed in time management and punctuality, thus she was slightly disappointed in herself when the young girl came into view. She noticed a single shard of glass on the floor, and made a mental note of it for later. "Hello...Lilac," she said, after glancing downward at the top of her clipboard. "Welcome to our facility."

"My name is Dr. Amerson," she said. "Please follow me." Uncertain of how to properly handle the young child, she began walking to one of the medical examination rooms, glancing back to make sure she was following
Lilic slowy got up and began to follow the woman. This was her new doctor now. She decided that she didn’t like her that much. She didn’t seem the type to hand out lollipops or smiley face stickers, yet she might answer the questions she had about the place. “ Um, new doctor? What exactly is this place? Will I live here?”. As she waited for the answer, she began to think about how much her life would change. Not just a new doctor, but a new life possibly. At this thought, another shard of glass formed and clattered to the ground. Lilic quickly picked it up, hoping the new doctor would be to busy with her questions to notice.
I was strolling through the corridors, on my way to my office so that I could write a few notes about another subject when I saw the new one. I was a little suprised, and saw her reach down to pick up a shard of glass. Moving into the hallway where they could both see me, I smiled warmly. "Hello." I said, directing my attention to the little girl. "Who might you be? I don't think I've seen you around before." I tap my chin thoughtfully. "My name is Maddie Angevin. You can call me Doctor Angevin or Maddie if you prefer." I nod toward her hand that held the grass discreetly, letting her know I knew it was there but not doing anything about it. She didn't seen hostile. "Doctor." I nodded towards the doctor who was standing in the hallway. "Apologies, I was just heading to my office. I didn't mean to bump into you." I said politely, I turned back to the girl and held out my hand. "It's nice to meet you."
Leigha sighed. The young girl seemed to be the inqusitive type, and she wasn't much in the mood for conversation. "Yes, for the time being you get to live here. Because you have a...power," she said, trying to use terminiology Lilic would understand. "This place is where we learn more about people with powers like yours, and how they work."

She pointed to the young girl's hand. "For example, you can create glass. An interesting ability indeed.." She trailed off, lost in a world of scientific possibilities. Shaking her head, she entered the medical examination room where Lilic's check up would take place. She motioned for Lilic to sit on the examination table, as she got out a basic set of sterilized tools she was going to need.

"I'm just doing a basic check-up," she explained, knowing the tools might scare the girl. "A blood pressure, pulse, and reflex test. After that, I just need to measure your height and weight, okay? And then we can have a little...chat." She decided not to call it an interview, still uncertain of what terms to use around the child.
Lilic looked up at Maddie. “ Hi, I’m lilic. I’m new here.” She noticed Maddie nodding at the hidden glass, and shrugged. “ It’s nice to meet you too.” She smiled as Maddie extended her hand. She shook it carefully. She liked her. She seemed nice and didn’t tell the new doctor about the glass. The new doctor began speaking, and lilic’s snapped forward, listening closely. She was half surprised by the answer. She knew she would be staying here for a long time, and she knew that her powers had to do with this, but why would someone want to have anything to do with powers? They were bad. Another shard of glass formed and fell to the ground. Before lilic could pick it up, the new doctor told her she saw the glass.

Lilic frowned. Was she that bad at hiding things? She sighed and followed the new doctor into the room for her checkup.
Leigha glanced back out into the hallway and spotted Dr. Angevin conversing with Lilac. "Hello, Dr. Angevin," she said. "It's quite all right, I was simply going through her check-up and interview."
"Hello Lilic." I said with a warm smile on my face. She and Dr Leigha moved on into the other room. "Alright, well have a good day both of you. I'll see you again." I was torn between moving with them into the other room and leaving, but honestly, it wasn't my business right now. Lilic was Dr Leigha's responsibility at the moment. I would get my turn to meet her and spend time with her, ask her questions, and do expiriments. I continued on in the hallway and to my office.
"You have a good day as well, Dr. Angevin," Leigha said, trying to add a kind tone to her voice. Her co-worker was much better at interacting with the subjects, in her opinion. She thought for a moment, and had an idea. "Dr. Angevin?" She called, hoping the scientist wasn't too far down the hallway. "Would you mind performing Lilic's interview after her check-up? I think you would benefit from the information far better than I, and I believe you're better at such things."

Turning her attention back to Lilic, she selected the blood pressure cuff and wrapped it around her arm. She gently increased the pressure, and told Lilic to tell her if it hurt too badly or not.
Lilic sat in the chair, and saw the cuff that would squeeze her arm. She knew it was to make sure that your blood was healthy. She closed her eyes, and didn’t make any noise when it began to squeeze uncomfortably. She wanted to show the new doctor that she was brave. “ It didn’t hurt, not really.”
Leigha nodded, putting away the device and made a note of the normal blood pressure on her clipboard. She then pulled out a small, rectangular device used for taking someone's pulse. "I'm just going to place this on your finger, okay? It won't hurt at all, I promise," she told the young girl.

She placed the device on her finger, and the numbers began changing after a beep sound.
Lilic remembered this device as well. All it did was sit on your finger. She stared at it for a bit, but got bored. Lilic began swinging her legs back and forth, taking in the room. It was pretty blank. The walls were white and there wasn’t much in there. She went back to staring at her finger lazily.
Once the numbers stopped moving, Leigha removed the device from her finger. She pulled out a small hammer like item with a peculiar top. "This isn't going to hurt," she said, by way of reassurance. "Just a light tap."

She gently hit the tips of her knees and shoulders, judging her reflexes. "Everything looks normal," she said, making note of it. She motioned to the scale. "And now, all that's left is a height and weight measurements."
Lilic stepped on the scale subconsciously, humming the theme song of her favorite show. She was thinking of it to keep her occupied till she saw her new room.
Leigha took Lilic's height and weight, recording them in her file. "You can take a seat again, I simply need to ask you a few questions about your powers," she said. "If you don't want to answer some of them, you don't have to."

"When did you notice you had powers? Were you born with them?"
Lilic was reluctant to answer. She didn’t want to answer any questions about her power. It was bad. But she wanted to impress the new doctor, even though she didn’t like her much. “ It was during kindergarten, so I was five. And I don’t think I was born with them if I didn’t use them before.”
