  • Traveling the universe to ensure humanity's survival.
  • Setting

The Interstellar Earth Federation was a coalition born out of necessity in order to escape the ever intensifying Sun. The big ball of gas was once Earth's closest friend had since turned into her worst nightmare, as the Sun slowly ran out of energy, it had begun to become brighter and as a result, temperatures on Earth would slowly increase and would eventually reach an unbearable number. This cause many of the world's citizens to panic; though humanity has been traveling the solar system for years, having developed mines on Mars, Titan, and other celestial bodies, actually leaving the Solar System was never an option for them, at least until recently. In order to ensure humanity's survival in spite of the intense Sun, the nations of the world teamed up to form the Dawn Space Corps and the Dusk Space Corps, each designed to carry the majority of the human population on a journey to find more suitable homes. Led by the United States and Japan, the massive project took well over two centuries to complete, and even with the enormity of the two fleets, not everyone could come aboard, creating another controversy; who exactly would be chosen to join this crucial journey?

While the fleets were being developed, much debate went into this when it was eventually decided that only the fittest of Earth's population would climb aboard; scientists, politicians, influential celebrities, and the wealthier citizens were granted access while those who were plagued with disease, poverty, and anyone else deemed unfit would be left at the mercy of the Sun, creating yet another controversy, but unfortunately, these unfit citizens couldn't do anything about it. During this time, much research and study went into where the fleets would be traveling to; just a few decades before the project had been completed, it had been determined the Dawn Space Corps (DSC) would be traveling towards a system just 12,000 light years away, one expected to have three Earth-like planets while the Dusk Space Corps (DUSC) would be sent off to a system just 27,000 light years away, this one expected to have 2 Earth-like planets. Once the fleets were finally completed, they had been boarded and sent off on their journey, with the last transmission between the fleets coming just 6,000 years after they left Earth. To this day, it's unknown what exactly happened to Earth, though many believed that the unfortunate citizens left behind have since perished.

Fast forward nearly 12,000 years and the Dawn Space Corps had finally arrived in system Robinson where they quickly went to work on researching the seven planets that made up this new Solar System. Fast forward another 200 years and they had successfully gotten to work on actually taking the first steps to permanently inhabiting these planets with Colonel Kristina Powers being the authority on Rulara, Major Commander Sadie Hester being the authority on Aria, and Major Captain Steven Marshall being the authority on Elea. Though progress is slow, it's been enough to keep things interesting. Today, the Fleet is led by Fleet Commander Isabella Sharpe; she's knowing for being tough, harsh, yet fair and compassionate. Under her leadership, the Fleet has been successful in establishing the first peaceful relations with an extraterrestrial race.

27,000 years after leaving the Earth, the Dusk Space Corps had finally reached their destination of D7172000, a system that would become known as Kennedy and this would become the start of something unprecedented; while they had done just as their counterpart did after arriving at the system, they had begun studying and preparing the planets for human habitation, but the then Fleet Commander Joseph Whitfield had taken a very different approach to this; though he didn't advocate the killing and slaughter of the natives, he was more than willing to force the natives off their land, officially claiming it in the name of humanity. This proved to be much more efficient than the Dawn Space Corps' less aggressive and friendly approach, as within just a century, the two Earth-like planets had become thriving human settlements, though the natives still thrive in great numbers. While to this day, the Dawn Space Corps have remained in system Robinson, having just recently fully colonized the three planets, the DUSC has colonized not only Kennedy, but six other solar systems as well, giving them an effective empire, though today the fleet has gone under a brand change of sorts, becoming known as the Interstellar Dusk Federation (IDF) being made up of not just humans, but the natives of several of the planets they've conquered. Today, Federation President Arthur Wallace presides over an era of peace and prosperity not seen at any other time in human history, with the current project being a re-establishment of communication between them and the DSC.
