Killure reaches over and gently pushes a few stray strands of serene's hair behind her ear. He lets out a soft sigh and slowly gets out of bed, knowing that serene needs some rest he decides to cook breakfast today. He leaves the room, despite being a goddamn giant, he still some major stealth skills so he quietly goes to the kitchen.
BEFORE HE LEAVES THOUGH. Just when he walks out of the door he could hear serene mumble. Seems like she was sleep talking? "Of course Ill marry you killi..." she said
Killure freezes at the doorway as he hears that, he turns around to look at serene for a moment, letting out a shaky breath. He quickly composes himself, before leaving, deciding not to think too much about that yet, distracting himself with cooking seems like a good idea-
Serene though just as he leaves opens one of his eyes. Not long after she started laughing "oh boy this will trouble him a lot" she said to herself while giggling. After a bit she went and changed from her pjs to some shorts and a tank top.
Killure is just in the kitchen, cooking away, but his mind is swarming with thoughts, and questions and a metric shit ton of self-doubt, as a distraction he just continued cooking.
Serene went to the kitchen with a smile on her face "good morning handsome" she said in a sweet tone. She went next to him and held his hand "so how can I help"
Killure gave an awkward smile, he was alot tenser around her now, his thoughts were really bothering him but this definitely isn't something he can really talk about. "Good morning, you don't have to help, i'm almost done anyway" he murmured awkwardly
Serene looked at him. She noticed her awkwardness and felt like it was her fault. I mean it kind of was her fault. Her face slightly dropped "oh...alright.." she went ahead and sitted her self to the table ,thinking that maybe it wasnt such a good idea after all
Killure took in a deep breath, after a few minutes he walked over to serene and set two plates down infront of her. One had a smiley face made by some bacon and eggs and on the other was a pile of pancakes with a heart carved into them.
Serene looked at it. Then looked at killure. Then back at it. Then back at killure. The second time she looked back she had that stupid smile of pure happiness on her face "that's adorable!"
Killure chuckled and gave that blinding smile of his, free of all awkwardness "only for you" he says smoothly and winks. "Oh and by the way, if you really wanted to marry me you could've told me upfront, you didn't have to pretend to sleep talk to give me a hint" he teases before starting to eat his food, as i said before, he has emhanced hearing, he would've been able to tell that serene was awake by hearing her heartbeat and breathing pattern
He was just acting all awkward to get back at her for pulling a prank like thatZ
Serene almost chocked while he said that "you knew??!" She was so flustered "I mean I...it wasnt like that! I mean it kind of was but- IT WASNT!!" She was blushing so much even her ears took a slightly red color
Killure bursts out laughing at her reaction, he was laughing so much a few tears came to his eyes "oh your reaction was priceless" he breaths between laughs "how can one person be so adorable" that part he muttered to himself, shaking his head while holding back more laughs
. "Shut up!!" Serene was so embarrassed. She tried to continue eating her food but she just couldnt. She suddenly stood up and headed to her room , with the plates. She wasnt mad. She just needed a bit of space to eat. Some space where hot demon boyfriends weren't in
"Shit...." he mutters the one word as soon as serene is out of sight, he leans back in his chair and runs a hand through his hair "do you think i went to far?" He was talking to his locket, it probably responded but since no one else who can hear it is present i won't say what it responds with, whatever it was causes killure to groan "i'm an idiot" he states
After a little bit serene went back to the kitchen. The plates surprisingly were empty. "...you cook very nice" she said while looking down. She was still a bit embarrassed but she would get through it. She placed the plates on the sink then and let out a little sigh
Killure stayed silent for a bit, he wasn't sure what to do or what to say but staying quiet wasn't a good idea. He then suddenly stood up and walked over to serene, he hugged her from behind and set his head onto her shoulder "i'm sorry, i shouldn't have teased you like that" he mutters sadly, he feels guilty
