Serenes face kind of dropped. "Oh....great what did I do wrong again..." she said while looking down. I mean yeah she was very lucky to get a man like him but her self esteem was lower than 0
"You didn't do anything wrong serene, it's judt that you've told me so much about yourself... i think it's about time i tolf you about my past" killure seemed hesitant to talk about whatever torment he had gone through in his life but this us an important step in their relationship
Serene looked a little bit confused as she hasnt told him that much. She then gave him a little smile as she placed her palm in his "look if you are not ready yet I understand! I want you to feel comfortable with me killure."
"No, no i have to... especially after last night" killure mutters the last part, he takes a deep breath getting ready to explain his deep dark story.
"Last night?" She murmured. "Oh right...you saw a nightmare..." she stayed up too long seems like she almost forgot about killure even waking up
"Where do i even begin...?" He asks himself before sighing again "so, when i was just a naive little kid my father used to be a pretty well liked politician in my town, everyone knew him, everyone liked him, he was like a Mr.Perfect, lawfully good, unable to do harm" there was a bitter tone in his voice as he spoke about his dad, clearly he didn't like him
"Pause" she said as she noticed this bitterness in his voice. She gave him a quick kiss on the lips "okay continue"
Killure looked shocked for a second, but gave a small smile nonetheless before continuing the story "well, my father was seen as perfect on the outside but i knew how much of a monster he was really... every night when he came home he would torture me, beat me up, cut my skin open, use me as an ashtray, you name it... the scars on my arms are all from him, sometimes my mom would try to stop him but he'd just turn on her instead" killure seemed sad when talking about his mom "one day, he hurt her so bad that she died... the moment i heard her heart stop beating I killed him too... the people didn't believe what i said and exiled me for killing that monster"
Serene was kind of speechless. She thought she had a bad past but this was awful. She looked at him and opened her mouth to say something but she held it back. The only thing she could do is hug him
Killure hugged back, he hid his face in her shoulder but the moisture says that he's probably crying now, his past is something he hates and that is clear now

Serene rubbed his back "come on.. its okay. ...look...he is gone isn't he? Weather people believed you or not he was an asshole and he got what he deserved...but it's all in the past now killure..." she tried to make him better but hell shes bad at that
Killure doesn't respond, he just tightens his arms around her, he just has to let it all out right now, let those tears all out.
Nah. I'm good. I'm not even tired yet... Somehow. I don't understand how, but it's a thing, so I'll take it.
