Cythweri (plural) or Cythwera (singular) are any humanoid born on the night of a blood moon and touched by its ancient curse. Not all babies born on these nights are afflicted, and no one knows why the curse claims some but omits others. Cythweri may look entirely normal when they are young, but slowly develop their characteristics over time. Some mothers will cast out or abandon their blood moon babies in fear that their child has the Cythweri curse.
