Haruka slipped onto the training grounds a bit early, as she had a habit of being late. No teacher should arrive to an event they were supposed to lead late, so she figured going early was her best bet. It also gave her time to survey the area in which the test was going to occur. It was a nice, wide open space equipped with both patches of soft grass and a running track.
Boredom started to creep up on the young hero as she waited for a bit. Haruka was suddenly remembering why she didn't often arrive early for much of anything.
After what seemed like forever. Haruka noticed the first of the few student who would be participating arrive. She smiled. This was going to be fun.

Arielle smiled as her eyes fell upon a lady, who was probably her teacher. "I wonder if I'm late?". She looked around.
Inori walked calmly, slowly, looking at the trees. The trees... Reminded her of her mother. She had a solemn look on her face. She snapped to reality when she realised that she had reached her destination.
Vlair walked into the training grounds, carrying what appeared to be a pair of binoculars and a notepad as his quirk decided to explain his presence and overall life story.
"Vlair walked into the training grounds, carrying what appeared to be a pair of binoculars and a notepad. He is a support student from class 1-F who is currently here as a part of an assignment where he has to design hypothetical support gear for a hero or hero-in-training."
"You know I can just say why I'm here by myself through less words, right?" Asked Vlair, rhetorically, as his quirk continued on unimpeded.
"The assignment was due in three weeks, and it was not that large. However because Vlair decided to get ahead on things-"
"And because his quirk wouldn't stop bugging him until he did so! Seriously you could have just asked me to watch this instead of going on narrative tangents about it constantly."
"-he had decided to go observe the Quirk Apprehension Test the school was having among the other first years."
Vlair sighed, and said "Sorry about the quirk. He's going on tangents today. I blame the novel I was reading earlier for this. At least he's not doing it in a noir style.". He then proceeded to start setting up a chair for him to sit on as he spectates the test. Meanwhile his quirk proceeded to narrate this.

"...he should stop by the time the test starts."

Starlight rolled her eyes at the two figures accompanying her. The two figures were no humans... They were possibly... Clouds? One was dark black and the other was of a light complexion, unlike the previous.
"First you make me late for my first day, then you disobey me! I say, where are you manners?? I train so hard and this is what I get?" Her voice sounded sad at the end.
The figures, even if were just clouds or shadows, looked like they were sad.
"I'm disappointed at your behaviour." Starlight said in a low voice.
"Please give us another chance!" The figures pleaded together.
"Chance? Then show me how you function in this Quirk Apprehension Test! I'll forgive you based on your results"
The two figures nodded slightly and disappeared into Starlight's palms.

Haruka carefully counted each of the students present: four in total, though one was only there to observe. She had heard about it from the Support Course department, and figured that Vlair's observation would do no harm. She glanced over to make sure he had found a suitable place from which to observe before adressing those before her. One student who had signed up was missing, she noticed, but it was already getting late and she wanted to stay on schedule for once.
Haruka clapped her hands together suddenly, hoping to catch a few students off-guard and gain their attention.
"Good morning, future heroes!" She announced. "And welcome to the Quirk Apprehension Test. This is a basic test that will allow you to use your quirks as you've never been allowed to use them before! There are many restrictions in most schools about quirk use, however, that all changes here. This test encourages you to utilize your quirk to it's fullest potential while completing basic fitness challenges."
"The first of these is the ball throw," Haruka continued, "which you've probably all done before in a fitness class. However, in this test I want you to use your quirk any way you see fit to launch that ball as far as you can."
Haruka paused, watching the excitement build. Having free range of quirk use was something these students most likely weren't used to, and she was ready to see what they could do.
She walked over to one of the students and handed her a small ball. "Arielle Nairae, you're up first."

Arielle felt nervous, "Yes, ma'am" she said, in a low voice, and took the ball.
She looked carefully at the ball, and then the sky.
She tried to figure out a way to user her quirk in this situation, first, she found that it won't help her, but soon, she wondered,
"What if I can input my speed into this Ball?"
She threw the ball, using her quirk and hoping that it'll help.
