Slowly, painfully, Jason woke up. His glasses were askew, so he fixed them and sat up stiffly, pushing them farther up his nose.
Where- where the heck was he? He didn't recognize this place at all.
He stood up, brushing his lab coat off and looking around. This was weird. This place...
Toto, I don't think we're in California anymore.
The voice in his head was gone. He no longer heard the female voice telling him his location and what to do, which was quite odd. This had never happened before in his entire memory of existence.
How peculiar.

A soft hiss entered the air. A young women scrunching up her nose as the sun shined on her face, ungodly bright, it was calling for the world to awaken. Sydney groaned, trying in a pitiful attempt to sit up. Her eyes fluttered opened lazily. When she focused on her surroundings, she first realized she had been laying on the ground. Disgusting and unladylike. She attempted on standing up, but her legs gave away from underneath her. "Well.... isn't that just perfect." Her voice wad leveled with coldness as she spoke to self. It was then that to her surprise, she had no clue where she was. She scanned the area, rationalizing that she was on the outskirts of a city. With a shaky breath, she gathered her nerves deciding the smart choice was to get into town and find out where exactly she was. As soon as her legs stopped acting like jello that is.
Upon hearing the distant sibilance, Jason stiffened in fright. He didn't have his shotgun to protect himself, and that hiss sounded an awful lot like an alien's call.
That reminded him: this didn't look at all like Redwoods National Park, so really had no idea where he was. He frowned, pushed his glasses up his nose, and carefully crept off in a randomly picked direction, not really desiring to find out what the hiss came from. Whatever it was, it didn't sound happy.

Finally her tensed muscles allowed her to stand, though she had to lean against a tree for support. She still didn't recognize the area she was in, leading her to wonder how did she even get here. Why was she on the ground? Unanswered questions swum around in her mind. The sound of a bird making a rather high pitch alarm call made her whole body go rigid in shock. Someone was nearby. Maybe they could help her? She wasn't sure. She found herself unsure about allot of things since waking up only moments before.
He sniffed, looking up at the bird that had just given off a warning call above him.
"Don't poop on me and we're cool," he told it, watching it as he walked forward and almost bumped into Sydney.
Jason gave a most undignified yelp, leaping backward and throwing his arms up to protect his face. He really wished he had his shotgun, although it was probably for the best that he didn't, or he might've killed her out of instinctive nervousness. He was really out of his element.

She nearly toppled over, not expecting the male to bump into her. A low growl escaped her throat, her cat like ears flatted against her head. Sure, she was pretty klutzy herself, but this was all to much for her to handle. Being in a strange place, unable to walk correctly, and now she had almost been thrown over. She turned her head, glaring daggers at the male. Golden yellow eyes, darkened immensely almost turn black in anger. "Oi. Four eyes. It would be totally amazing if you looked where you're going instead of nearly falling over a person." She huffed out of pure annoyance, gritting her teeth as not to snap at him.
the sound of birds was clearly in the air as siela awoke. finding herself in an unfamiliar place, she began what any good person does, she began to ask herself questions. the voice that always seemed to help her follow a recipe had left, and she was on her own for once. "what do I do now?" she cried. suddenly, siela turned as she heard something a little ways behind her and began to rather clumsily walk over to it.
Jason cowered under her rage, holding his hands up in a non-threatening manner.
"I'm sorry," he said quickly, shoving his glasses back up his nose, "I didn't know there were other people out here. Do you, by any chance, know where we are?"

Alex woke up,he felt stiff, yet weak.He looked to his left, then his right,What is this place.. he thought. But there was no reply. He looked over at his brother who was laying close to him ,he would probably wake up soon enough.Alex started to sit up,he felt weak all over,he was waiting, expecting to hear that usual voice tell him what ,when ,and where, but it didn't. Alex looked at Felix as he started to wake up."What a crick in the wing."Felix said. "Is now really a time to be complaining."Alex states.Just then Alex heard a voice, but it wasent the one that once told him everything.
He groaned as he stood up slowly. The long blue hair slid over his face as the red eyes looked about. He growled as he stretched to his full height. His arms extending outward with his wings. He began to take surveillance of his surroundings and rubbed his chin carefully, "Hmm...I don't remember any airports.." he mindlessly wandered, his 'guiding voice' gone. He lifted a brow, "This is...strange." he felt a small panic, "I am unsure what I need to do. Why am I here..." he looked, his runes all charcoal black. "This is not right..."
She sighed heavily, seeing that the other was frightened. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she silently began to count until she relaxed. She lowered her head from her face, mumbling softly, but loud enough so her could hear, "Sorry... I didn't mean to get so angry." She hung her head, ashamed at her uncalled outburst. Usually she made sure not overreact in really, any given situation not matter how stressful it may be. Must be this place. She thought, rubbing the back of her neck. Sydney finally looked to the male, now observing. She noticed the once pure white lab coat, now stained with smears of dirt. Just. My. Luck. A scientist. This day is getting sooooo much better. She rolled her eyes in exasperation. "No. I don't know where this place is. I'm just as clueless as you." Whatever kindness that was in her voice earlier when making her apology, had disappeared all together. She pushed herself away from the tree, stomping her foot to see if she was sturdy enough to walk. She nodded in approval seeing her legs didn't give out like last time, and not even bothering to look directly at the male, she asked a simple question. "What's your name? You owe me that much after falling on me."
He sighed unhappily; they were stuck in the middle of nowhere and had no idea where they were or how to get back home.
Umm, Voice? Now would be a really helpful time to speak up...
But, for the first time, his Voice was silent. That was particularly unnerving. His Voice was a talkative one and seemed to enjoy filling his head with undesired thoughts and ideas.
He had thought it was annoying sometimes, but now he missed it. He wished he knew why it had left him. Maybe it didn't like him anymore- that happened a lot.
He looked up at Sydney when she asked the question, his dark blue eyes clouded with sadness, confusion, and worry. "Jason," he replied quietly. "Jason McRan."

she walked over to see what it was and saw a boy in a labcoat talking to a girl with cat ears. since the walking had woken up her legs she was able to get closer a lot quieter than earlier. then, she accidentally stepped on a twig. siela gulped. "im so dead". she thought.
Alex gets up.But just collapses again."You gotta be kidding me.." he says aloud.
Felix looks at Alex then at the direction we hear a conversation coming from.Alex just starts army crawling towards it.Not wanting to be seen,on the fact he doesn't know who,or what lies forward.Felix gets up using a brick wall to keep steady on,and he follows the voices of say 3 people.

Felix and Alex make there way along the brick wall until they reach a place they can see you,but you cant quite see them.two girls, and a guy huh. Felix thinks as he slightly looks at the three. The two have their wings hidden so its not obvious there not exactly human. Alex just lays there please dont notice us, he thinks.
siela walked from behind the tree and held her hands above her head. "im sorry! i just woke up on the hill over there and heard you two over here and thought you guys would know where we are. you do know where we are, right?".

Sydney perked her ears at the sound of the twig snapping. An animal? Most likely, who'd want to be out here anyway? Not even realizing it she sniffed the air, catching multiple scents. Leaves, rainwater, dirt, and...people? The crap... She glances over at Jason, seeing him reach behind his back grabbing nothing but empty air. She could feel so many emotions at once, nervousness, fear, sadness from earlier coming off of him in waves. It made her stomach churn. Is he always this jumpy? Sheesh. Take a chill pill bro. Nauseous from all the negative vibes, she almost had the urge to swat him over the head. "Calm down, you're making me feel sick. She yelled out, causing the scurrying of forest animals and the chirping of birds to stop. "HEY! Whoever you are, stop hiding and come on out! I don't have time to play hide and seek!"Before she even finish her tirade, a girl, stepped out from behind a tree. Sydney had a blank expression, not knowing how to react. "Um, no we don't....kid... did you see anyone else around?" She didn't know what else to say, so just bluntly asked the question. She was sure there where more people out there.
(BLAH late post. I couldn't figure out how to edit the dice thingy)
Jason whirled upon hearing the twig snap. He instinctively went to his back, where he normally kept his shotgun. Upon grabbing empty air, he realized again that he didn't have it, which was a huge bummer.
Of all things to leave behind- I really wish I had it...
(Time to test ze dice!)
He jerked away from Sydney's outburst, slightly startled- it was at that moment that he felt a tugging sensation in his gut, and oddly, his shotgun materialized in front of him, slowly at first, then a little faster, before it was finally solid and he caught it as it dropped from the air.
"Whoa... What?!" It was his shotgun, alright. He recognized the battered object quite well. He slung it over his shoulder now that he had no use for it at the moment.
That was when the wave of exhaustion hit him and his knees almost gave out. It was like he had just ran a marathon without stopping. "Oh, geez..."Umm, Voice? A little help?
The only answer he got was silence.

rolled 2d6 and got 4
1-2, Failure/Complete Exhaustion, 3-4, Comes With Some Difficulty/Mild Tiredness, 5-6, Success/Very Little Tiredness
Siela looked at the scientist in astonishment. She had seen him pull the gun out of thin air and couldn't believe what she saw. "How did you do that?".
The two kept observing, hoping to hear the voice tell them who these guys were. But the voice never came, them not being seen quite yet they figured.Felixs' hand slipped off the wall and he ended up falling ontop of Alex You idiot! Alex thought
