In the past the Lorelay family was much larger and needed these extra homes to accommodate the various family members, but overtime as the family shrank in size the homes were later repurposed and turned into employee living, offering all the necessities and even some of the comforts of home, though paling in comparison to the main house where the owner of the ranch resides.
Having settled in after their trip to the city. Stella had thrown some grub up on the counter to get it prepped for eating. And she'd also taken the little nail dagger out of her boot sheath as it was not comfortable. A simple thing. A grip maid from rejected nails melted down into a basic handguard and a single sharp smile of a nail pointed up. A punch dagger really. She had been reluctant to use that on rowdy customers as well, she'd most certainly have killed them but better safe than sorry
Verde was vibing around, but was particularly bored today. She had quietly slithered through the ranch to one of the Farmhouses. She would come through the door quietly, the only noise that was made was the door being creaked open as Verde slithered through the farmhouse to the kitchen. Waiting for Stella to have her back turn, Verde quickly went up to the counter to see the food she was prepping to cook. If anything caught her eye, she would grab and hold close to her old leather vest she wore for modesty so she can take them away.
"HEY, YOU COUKD HAVE WAITED!" She exclaims as she turns back to see some things missing. "I was gonna make some for everyone ya know." She stomped her foot down. Little frustrated with verde.
Clank, clank, clank footsteps got closer and closer before doors to the farmhouse opened. It was Mina returning from her early morning walk, towel hung across the cowgirls shoulder. Her multi-colored hair still was somewhat wet. “Good morning” she greeted everyone before looking at the room. Letting out a chuckle Minotaur woman walked past Stella then took a seat, taking towel off her shoulders and placing it on her lap Mina smiled “I see you two rowdy as alway.” She teased Stella and Verde.
Verde grumbled and spoke “Then that would mean I would have to share” as she stuffs one of the goodies in her hand into her mouth. She would give back most besides one of the ingredients in her mouth currently. Verde would glare at Mina as she chops on the ingredient that was in her mouth.
"You know full well I always make plenty for everyone verde." She said with huff. "Ah, morning gorgeous." She'd say to minas as she got back to cooking uo a nice tasty breakfast for everyone to enjoy. Her hips just swinging along ti her own tune.
Mina couldn’t help but chuckle at Stella’s greeting “Sorry I couldn't go with you guys, that fence on the east really bugged me. I had to fix it and then one thing went to another… Err.. So anything interesting happened? How’s the city?” Mina spoke, asking a few questions about the gang's journey to the big city. Noticing a glare, Mina looked at “Can I help you Verde?” Mina asked then cupped her left breast “Want some milk?” Mina teased a half-teasing snake woman.
"Oh, you touched up the fence while we were gone, how nice of ya...I thought it looked different." Pauladeen words came from the distanced as she made her way inside. Walking by and hearing the commotion, she couldn't help but check in on what was happening within, and it seemed like it was breakfast. The sounds of boots along the floor echoed as she came upon the morning gathering with a crooked smile. "Mmmmmh Stella's cooking again, eh? This should be good, what's everyone having??" She questioned casually, well aware that Stella was known around the ranch as a pretty good cook.
Verde looked away from Mina as her cheeks became flush. Not from arousal but more embarrassment. She had remembered drinking the milk that is produced on the farm and…she was one gassy snake for the day.
Not wanting to be a slithering tootering machine that gases everyone she goes by, she moved back and waited patiently for food. “Waiting for breakfast” was all she said to Pauladeen, not wanting to ruffle the fur on that woman.

"Oh not much. A customer hit handsy but our beloved Satyr got him good. We made good money on our sales I believe considering how much stock we doled out. Though I did forget to go and buy some more shot for the rifle as we were real busy like. As for breakfast miss lorelay. I'm making eggs, veggies, and some wonderful cinnamon toast today. There's some of that cider I ordered from mamma Delilah out in the cityvtgat should arrive today as well. You know the one right? With the cafe and all those sweet pups she does over."
