Story by Tifa and Nyxeris

Midgar – Sector 7 Slums

Tifa stood in the middle of the bustling marketplace, her dark eyes scanning the crowd as she pinned a flyer onto a rickety wooden post. The flyer read:

"Looking for a skilled merchant with high-quality gear. Discretion required. Big job, big pay. Come to Seventh Heaven if interested."

She sighed, stepping back to admire her handiwork. This wasn't ideal, Cloud was always the one who handled the high-risk jobs, slipping in and out of danger like a ghost. But he’d gone radio silent, completely undetectable, and Tifa wasn’t about to sit around waiting. If she wanted to get inside Shinra and find answers, she needed the right gear and someone who could get it without attracting too much attention.

The slums were alive with activity. Merchants called out their wares, kids darted between market stalls, and the ever-present hum of the upper plates loomed above. Tifa handed a few more flyers to some regulars she trusted.

"Pass these around for me, will you? Just… make sure it gets to the right people."

"Looking for trouble, Lockhart?" A familiar voice made her turn. It was a weapons dealer she knew, a wiry man with a keen eye for opportunity.

"Something like that," she said, folding her arms. "You know anyone who deals in Shinra-grade equipment? No questions asked?"

The man smirked, rubbing his chin. "Might have a lead. But discretion ain't cheap."

Tifa rolled her eyes. "Neither is my patience. Either you're in, or you're out."

The man chuckled, handing the flyer back. "I'll ask around. Just don’t get yourself killed before I find someone."

As he walked away, Tifa took a deep breath. She didn't like relying on shady deals, but time was running out. If no one could track Cloud, she’d have to do this herself. And for that, she needed the best gear she could get her hands on.

For now, all she could do was wait and prepare for what was coming.
