The Misty Forest

Oh hey! You arrived, nice! Alright, here's the point. This girl by that tree is named Hallie and she seems stressed about something. It has to do with something evil trying to take over and burn down the entire place. You know the drill if you read back at the rp ad. just letting you know.

The mist look like the ancient streams. Tifa was in the midst of an adventure to find the strongest materia to beat Sephiroth, the main villain in her world. She had already been walking through deserts, junkyard, mountains, and arrived at the forest. Her instinct was telling her to go pass this forest to find the answer of all her misery. As one of the blackout survivors, she was destined to beat her enemies, through her group AVALANCHE to find a way to build some peace.

Tifa glanced over her surroundings. The sounds she could fathom were the crispy sound each footstep of hers made, distant hooting and howling sounds; overpowering all these was the pounding of her heart. The trees towered above, their branches twisting and gnarled like grasping fingers. A thick carpet of leaves muffled her footsteps as she made her way deeper into the woods.

The air was thick with the scent of decaying leaves and damp earth, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. Every rustle of leaves, every creaking branch made her heart race with fear.

Tifa could hear the faint sound of something moving in the distance, and her imagination ran wild with visions of beasts and monsters lurking in the shadows. She quickened her pace, desperate to escape the eerie silence of the forest.

But the deeper she went, the more the forest seemed to close in around her. The trees grew thicker, the underbrush more tangled. The sounds of the outside world faded away, leaving her alone in a world of shadow and mystery.

As Tifa pushed deeper into the heart of the forest, she knew that she was taking a risk. But the allure of the unknown was too strong to resist. She couldn't shake the feeling that something incredible, something amazing, lay hidden just beyond her reach.

Just quite the right moment for her to develop feelings toward the forest, she found the sight of the green haired girl by the next tree. She looked like she was lost on her thought. On the distance, was just an arms reach, Tifa called her. "Hello.... are you okay?" she said, quite nervous if the girl would be her friends or foe.

The green haired girl would then be prancing back and forth, still worried about a few things but it's mostly about her home because she heard that there was SOMEONE who is gonna burn this entire forest down to the ground along with the others who traveled all the way here. She would then notice someone nearby so, she tried to play it calmly because she didn't want anyone to know why she was stressed.

"Oh, uhm... Hi there! Welcome to Misty Forest which is also known as my home and a place for travelers and citizens to relax and play around while it lasts!.. May i have a reason on why you arrived here please? Not that it won't matter as this is going to be one hell of a calamity mess for this forest.."


The Green Haired Girl would say, tilting her head slightly. She's really trying her best not to sound too panicked but this is a very serious situation that this forest is in... Although, it does may seem that she needs help due to her constant prancing of walking back and forth ever since the beginning of Tifa's arrival. She's a pretty strange individual if you ask me..




(Psst, if i'm speaking in green, this must mean i'm using Hallie. Just thought i would let you know so you won't get confused on who's talking.)

hammond wanders into the scene

“The ways I get lost sometimes”

[OOC: Hello, I'm sorry if I have slow replies ;w; ]

"My reason? I'm not even sure... I was just passing by this forest. I am heading to the Mt. Corel to search for a materia" Tifa replied to the green-haired. She was also surprised that there would be any human living in this deep mist forest. "What do you mean of calamity mess? Tifa raised her eyebrows.

The girl then noticed the peculiar creature... probably a squirrel? Even wondering between them. She was alerted, she raised her fist to have her guard stance. "Are you all... Green here? Because of the forest? No offense--" Tifa glanced at Hammond and back to Hallie.

Hammond pulls a hammer out of his tail to match her fist
“You’re not trying to fight me, are you?”

Hallie then sees the situation between Hammod and Tifa Lockhart. She would then try to speak out to them to stop fighting since the three barely just met each other and there is ABSOLUTELY no need to resort to violence.

"Woah woah WOAH! Calm down your vines for a moment and don't fight! We've barely just met and you guys are starting a fight for no reason! Besides, i just wanna explain on what type of calamity mess this forest is in... So, a lot of things has been occuring in this forest and it appears to be spreading alongside the areas that was considered a safe haven.. Ugh.. I'm not feeling too hot right now.."

Hallie would then be sweating a little before wiping the sweat off her forehead.

“Very well, explain this calamity of a mess you speak of”

Hallie would then nod before sitting down onto a nearby log to recap on what's happening throughout the entire forest.

"Okay, listen.. I was minding my business, protecting the forest ever since this whole calamity mess started. I noticed something was off and i.. kinda felt some strange dark magic in this forest and it's weakening my powers a bit.. But overall, i'm fine but the forest isn't so, that's why i'm gonna investigate on what's causing the strange dark magic to spread around here in order to protect my home AND the people that used to go here. However, i did capture a picture of the source while i was searching on my own before i was in a state of panic..."

Hammond begins walking away, but slowly enough to clearly want to be stopped

After making sure the squirrel actually harmless, Tifa loosen up her stance and getting her intention back to Hallie. "I'm sorry, that was just instinct." Tifa offered a friendly smile toward them.

Tifa then listened to Hallie's concern and look at the picture that was shown. "Someone is going to destroy this forest??! That won't do. Let me help you to find the culprit!" Tifa said to Hallie and then lift her hand to stop Hammond from going away. "You should help us too."

Hammond turns around swiftly

“Alright, let’s go!”

"Seriously?! You two will help me out on saving this forest?! Awesome! I think I might know a few friends who knows how to handle this situation but it's been a long time since I seen the two, but they're around the forest somewhere! They go by Lockelan and Keye and, if i remember correctly, Keye always likes to be around trees to do some swinging!" Hallie said, now excited that the two of them will assist her in saving this forest, so she'll try to provide help as much as she can!

“Well, let’s bust a buffer!”

Tifa was relieved that the girl in green actually trusted her and accepted her help to find the culprit who will created chaos on the forest. Tifa was actually quite sure whoever had this evil scheme to even burned down the forest was beyond evil. Tifa listened to Hallie's description over her friend. "By the way, would you tell us how is this Lockelan and Keye looks? I mean, how are their appearance so it'll be easier for us to find them?"
