He got 1812's pants on, 1812 pouted angrily
"Sorry, I know this is hard... But many are working hard to help, hopefully the others are alive.." He patted Karang's back for support.
He glanced over, somewhat startled and somewhat grateful for the touch. "Yeah, one can always hope." He stood up, shaking himself off and cracking his knuckles. "Don't look so somber, little thing. There are much worse fates than being forced to wear pants."
"So how about two weeks and we will meet each other back here yes?" Gregory chuckled seeing 1812 try to take off his pant but not understanding how to get the button undone. "So any ideas what we should call him? Did he give you any names?"
Karang nodded in agreement. "Sounds good. I've just been calling him 'little thing' up until now... I'm not sure if he has a name or not." He contemplated 1812 for a moment, smiling slightly as he struggled with the pants.
1812 gave up after a while and started chasing a mouse around the temple, "Yea, I have been just calling him 'boy', not sure if he has a yet either. But with that dragon knowledge im sure you can figure it out. I'm heading out now." He looked to 1812, ,"Bye, I will see you in a bit."
1812 looked at Gregory, "Cat!" He pointed and then waved.
"I think he gets it." Gregory smiled and headed to the opening of the temple.
"See you in two weeks. Folenor, ree kath, kin saaph," he called after Gregory, slipping into his natural Draconic tongue as he watched him go. Goodbye, good luck, and stay safe. He then spread his wings again, carefully picked 1812 up, and muttered a magic spell that teleported them to the east in a flash of light, leaving the temple far, far behind.
1812 screamed from the new experience and laughed until they were in the east. People looked and crowded around greet Kerang, "Welcome dragon! Welcome!" "It's good to see one safe" "How are you?" "Is there anything we can get for you?" People from all different kinds, elves, humans, drawfs and many more greeted Karang with open arms.
1812 panicked, 'so many so many so many! stay away! dont touch me!' he thought as he backed up and started to cry, "O!" he started to run into the deserted land in fear or all the people.
Karang morphed his wings back into his shoulders, holding up a finger to tell everyone to hang on a second before running after 1812. He snagged the back of his shirt and held him there, giving him a reassuring hug. "Hey, hey, it's okay- it's okay, they're not gonna hurt you, not with me around... It's okay, just calm down. Easy..."
He shook scared and hugged back, growing his arms out to hug all the way around. "Whats wrong with his arms?" a Person asked. "Is he a demon?" The crowed started to get loud and scaring them selves.
"I honestly don't care if he is, and don't even think about going after him because 1: you don't want to upset him, and 2: he's with me. He's harmless so long as you don't aggravate him." He ran a hand through 1812's hair to help calm him down, casting a warning glance at the group.
They all stopped, "If he is will you, then he is welcomed too." some one said in the cowed and the rest agreed. 1812 relaxed, he didn't understand why he felt good, but he liked being like his. He felt safe and not scared of the people no more.
Karang looked down at 1812 as he stood up again, making sure he was all calmed down, before sighing and studying the townspeople with his odd kaleidoscope eyes. "So there's that few dragons left, eh?"
"Yes, he is under protection in the castle." one pointed to the large desert castle that over looked the town. 1812 held on to Karang's shirt not wanting to let go.
"Alright. I'm gonna go talk to him- if he'll talk to anybody it'll be another dragon. We can discuss things when I get back," Karang told them, patting 1812 on the back as he strode in the direction of the castle. He pondered morphing his wings out again and did so; if anything it would distinguish what specific species of dragon he was, for no other dragons except Amphipteres had feathered wings and no other Amphipteres except for his own southern kind had this color scheme for their wings. Amphipteres were often considered neutrals as well, so that could help the dragon in question talk.
It'd be interesting to hear what he'd have to say.
1812 followed look away from the people. He didn't understand why his dog would being him here but he felt safe with him so it was okay. upon arrive a man in royal garbs greet Karang and hurried him inside with 1812 in tow. They informed Karang that they couldn't get the young dragon to speak on what attacked him or why it did. He just stares at the wall. He even is starving himself.
Karang nodded, frowning slightly. "I'll talk to him." He turned to 1812, "You're gonna have to be quiet for me, okay? No screaming it anything like that, I don't want to freak him out. Just watch or go to sleep or something, okay?"
1812 looked at him with a blank stare, not showing any signs he understood or didn't. 'his eyes are weird, i like them.' he thought as he smiled happily.
Karang sighed, rustling his wings and folding them tighter behind his back before walking into the dragon's room, curious and a little wary. He wasn't sure how he'd feel about talking and the last thing either of them needed was another fight.
The dragon laid in a bed in a human form, he didn't really notice Karang entering. He stared up at the wall in silence.
"oooo, nihiksssssss" 1812 said entering the dim lighted room.
The Amphiptere waved a hand to silence 1812, slowly approaching the dragon and studying him quickly to see which exact species he was based off his hair and eye color. He sat down a few feet away from him, his wigs folded tightly behind his back.
<Folen,> he murmured softly in telepathy to the dragon, tilting his head and watching for a reaction.
