Please feel free to suggest more victorian era or victorian inspired media! If any of these pieces of media are not victorian or victorian inspired, please let the founder know. Some of these were found by searching things such as "victorian video games" and not played, read or watched by the founder.

Welcome to RPR's Great Victorian House, a roleplay group that focuses on the victorian era (20 June 1837 until 22 January 1901), when Queen Victorian reigned the United Kingdom.

According to the information provided on Wikipedia: In the history of the United Kingdom and the British Empire, the Victorian era was the reign of Queen Victoria, from 20 June 1837 until her death on 22 January 1901. Slightly different definitions are sometimes used. The era followed the Georgian era and preceded the Edwardian era, and its later half overlaps with the first part of the Belle Époque era of continental Europe.

  • Rules

This group is meant to be written in 3rd Person, and can be Adjustable Length most of the time. Please do not do chatspeak or script format, except in the IC character forums. We ask of you to \try and match post lengths\ the best you can, but is okay if you can't.

Please inform the group of any triggers, subjects you find uncomfortable, or anything similar to these things, before we roleplay. We don't want anyone to be uncomfortable while we are roleplaying, so it's better to inform us before the roleplay starts than during it.

Be patient, and we'll be patient back. We all have our own busy lifes, and we're sure you do too! If it seems like someone's ghosting you, don't worry, they might just have forgotten about the roleplay, or are having real life distract them from being able to reply. Don't be afraid to PM them and ask about them, and they will probably do it in return for you as well.

Please do not take any roles of anyone else, especially without asking first.
