The two twin boys, Marius and Sangre, were giggling as they scurried around the busy ballroom, taking turns hiding under tables and such, the two just being silly and childish, as usual.
Sangre was a bit slower than Marius in their running, but he seemed to keep up for the most part with his older brother, albeit slightly out-of-breath.

Lacia stood off to the side of the ballroom, watching the people in the room. She tightly gripped her bearing sword that was sheathed to her left hip, an anchor in this place which she was uncomfortable with.
She watched the Malvolio Twins play in the ballroom, mildly concerned for their safety. Should she stop them from running around? What if they knock someone over? Lacia decided not to do anything for now, this wasn't her problem right now. She's just here to be shown off to the important people here, and then shipped back out to fight their battles.

Marius and Sangre ran out from underneath the tables, seeming to now decide to play tag, but one of them bumped into Lacia.
Sangre looked up at Lacia and blushed in embarrassment. "Oh!"
He tilted his head in respect, "I'm so sorry, miss."
Marius noticed and wandered over to his brother's side.

Lacia got on one knee down to Sangre's level, making sure that he was not hurt. "Anywhere hurt? Are you alright?" She kept her hands by her sides, quickly double checking that her gloves were on. Better not get this kid's hair or clothes stuck in the intricate clockwork in her arms.
Sangre shyly stepped back once, then smiled. "No, no I'm okay. I am not hurt."
Marius gently took Sangre's hands in his, in a gentle, protective manner. "Are you?" Marius asked Lacia.

Lacia stood back up, smoothing the folds in her dress down as she did so. She shook her head no at their question, moving her hand back on her bearing sword's hilt, gripping it tightly.
Sangre noticed the sword and his eyes widened softly with curiosity. "Oh, you have a sword! Are you a knight, like in those fairytales I read sometimes?" Sangre asked innocently.
Marius looked at Sangre, "Sangre! Be respectful, she's a lady, she wouldn't be a knight!" He paused, "Wait, would she?" Marius looked at Lacia as if curious as well.

Lacia again shook her head no. Why were these twins interested in her? She wasn't a knight, barely a lady, not even a person in most people's eyes. Just a weapon, a sword to be pointed at foes. She went back to observing the others in the room.
