I was born and raised into a guild of bounty hunters and as a child, my parents took on a bounty that was extremely dangerous and they died, now I have been training till hopefully one day be able to kill the person who killed my parents
I know it’s cliche but it’s my first character I’ve made.
Also, what time zone are you in because I’m in America, specifically the east so it’s confusing for me that you respond the day after and aren’t active the rest of the time
You don’t have to say if you’re uncomfortable with it
Thanks for being patient. Some things, I must know.
Wednesdays are usually when I'm the most busy as I have another game of dnd.
Cliche? Im not sure about that, but it works. What matters is you got a character ready.
As for backstory, I'd say your mother and father have been part of this faction.
Perhaps they were like bounty hunters. I try not to sweat the details as much yet, but when we get things going, I'd consider a name soon.
Under Time, I have Central Time. As of this post, it's 4:25 pm for me.
Your character will need a stat page now using this system starting at Rank 1.

Here is where you should find the TIME forum. Here, I can tell who's where in the time zones.

As for the guild, practically customs could work. He'd likely fall into the non-political spectrum. I'm assuming he wouldn't care much of alliance/Horde squabble. But if you need other ideas, here are a few.
Ravenholdt (the famous rogue/assassin organization).
The Uncrowned (a secretive rogue faction opposed to the Legion).
A private mercenary network (custom guild concept).

The Creed, they have bases in every major city and one main base in the woods. They are technically criminals but the government is to lazy to get rid of them, so they just monitor them to make sure they don’t get too out of hand
Also, it’s a bounty hunter group, petty criminals aren’t allowed
Also I said it’s cliche because of the whole “parents dying trope” thing
The Creed it is.
Thank you. I think we have the faction covered, the characters' general backstory, parents. An idea on his abilities, what his race would be... pretty much everything now.

Next, we decide on the stats.

Power here is the main offensive trait while speed is how well one avoids or the likelihood they hit. Life is the amount of hp and special will be used for 'energy effects' that cost special counters to use.
I'm probably gonna have more options depending on how the game goes, but here we are for now. Hope you find what you're looking for here.

Well, I have a DND version of his character sheet.
Strength: 13
Dexterity: 18
Constitution: 16
Intelligence: 13
Wisdom: 15
Dexterity: 18
Constitution: 16
Intelligence: 13
Wisdom: 15
I rolled it using a unique method that’s technically allowed
So, translating what you put into this system, what we have is..
Power: 3
Life: 3
Speed: 4
Special: 2
Which will give the following page for the game.
Rank: 1
Hp: 22/22
Block: 10/10
Dodge: 8/8
Energy: 8/8
Power: 3
Life: 3
Speed: 4
Special: 2
Damage: +3
Special: +3
Penetrate/guard: 3
Hit/dodge: 4
If this is fine with you, we can move on to having up to 4 energy effects for the system.
ENERGY EFFECTS
Unblockable Upgrade (2 energy): Your unblockable does not grant the target(s) extra dodge modifier and remains unblockable regardless of the power stat difference.
Undodgable (2 energy): Your attack cannot be avoided. Spend 2 more energy to add +3 to the attack. Must have speed at least 1 less of your target(s) for it to work
Summon (4 energy): Summon another unit. Could be the following:
16 of a rank 2 less of your own.
4 of a rank 1 less of your own.
1 of the same rank as you.
WARNING: There can be up to 10 units on a team at once, so use this wisely!
Heal (3 energy): Heal a unit for +2 + (special stat). Spend another energy to affect 1 more unit or to amplify the heal.
Shield (1 energy): Gain +2 to block modifier. Spend another energy to use your special stat as the block modifier.
Quick step (1 energy): At any time, you can reappear in a spot 30 ft. from you. Could also be used to add +2 to your dodge modifier.
Empower (1 energy): Give a unit +2 damage done. Can spend 1 more energy to affect another target.
Smite (1 energy): Use your special stat as the attack and damage modifier OR wyou damage an enemy, deal an additional +2 damage.
Intercept (1 energy): If an ally within 5 ft. of you is attacked, you may move to their space and attempt to block the attack (It must be a block. Cannot dodge). Defense rolls are applied as normal.
Emergency Block (8 energy): When you should be hit by an attack that would take you down to 0 hp or below as long as the remaining damage doesn’t exceed your max hp, you may, instead choose to nullify the damage. Does not work if the overall damage is higher than your health.

As for reasoning…
Power and speed are there, because I noticed your page had 18 dexterity.
Dex in dnd is used for damage for finesse weapons as well as higher ac, meaning more chance to avoid an enemy attack roll, something speed can help with here as well. Power is for damage as well as ability to block.
Life is a considerable amount at the time reflecting a really strong constitution.
That left special. Charisma and wisdom are both high, but from what I can tell, he isn’t too reliant on magic in dnd.
Special +2 means something when you wish to use smite to use the special modifier instead or of you wish to use heal or certain effects.

And then how would we work with psionics because I still want there to be some limitations on it like how there is a DND but I want it to be more freely usable than normal magic
