And then how would we work with psionics because I still want there to be some limitations on it like how there is a DND but I want it to be more freely usable than normal magic

Well, we can certainly add psionic "counters", though it's more or less for rp purposes here should it be translated. Though if you wish, we may use counters to see how many more times he can use them.

We can have a max of

3/3
4/4
2/2

It’s your personal choice.

I was more thinking of an equivalent to psionic dice
Where he has to use them for certain things
Is that so? Well, sure. Does a d6 work with each counter? You'll get three of them at rank 1 for now.

Let me know if I'm missing something. I'd do higher dice, but we are using d6 for pretty much everything except attack.
Yah, that would work, also sorry for joining late, I have church
I'm glad we could find something we can agree upon.

That's fine. We have things that keep us. I'll just remember that Sundays also keep you busy.

You can flavor psionics in a fight however you wish. Wouldn't affect gameplay, but you still have it.

I'm thinking of making it enhance out of combat stuff like sensing nearby stuff though or whatever utilities.

Kind of an idea.
Fair warning, the Alliance and Horde missions are close to finishing, but the other three are still open for interactions.
OK, I’m more of still learning to do this so I just want to join a group that’s beginner friendly
You still came to the right place. I'm helping out am I?

Now here we are.

This is the first time project d6 is like this, so don't worry too much on not knowing yet.

Even then, we played a few games here.
Okay,
Now that we have the basics covered, how do I actually really play this? I know dungeons and dragons, but I don’t know this game.
The manual under templates here covers some.

But to enter the game world, we begin by selecting a mission we find appealing. Let me get you to those places.

Did you remember to list how many hours per session you can do?
There comes a time when during or even after characters perform missions when free rp can be done. Characters should get to know one another to a degree, but if your char must withhold some info of themselves, so be it.
Also, the attacks you do depends on how you word things.

Attacks could be...

A single thrust.

A fan of knives

A 360 degrees slashes

A single horizontal cleave

An attack strong enough for a knock down (assuming you have enough power compared to your target(s) to do so.

A trip.

A mind spike (though requires 2 energy thanks to an energy effect.)

Some of these make the difference between hitting a target simply and possibly affecting those in a 15ft cone in front of you.
Okay, I’m more just talking about the game in general, I don’t really know how to play
Also, for one constraints I can play from my 3pm to my 5pm, which for you is 2 to 4
That’s fair. So 2 hours of game time. Got it.

You announce an attack or whatever.

If it deals damage to certain target(s), they must roll with defense. We’re gonna do it where they can either say block or dodge before rolling. No need to roll attack. The result of the dice depends if it’s successfully done. There, the damage, if any is dealt, or the block/evade is made. On the map, if evasion is done, the entity could move up 10 ft. to the spaces they wish. Either block or dodge, no damage is done on success.

Modifiers help increase or decrease the chances with how it compares to both entity’s value, attacker and defender. If say the power is 4 for the attacker, then 3 for the defender, the defender, should they block, would get -1 block modifier.

Likewise, speed is compared. Attackers 3 speed vs a defenders 4 speed gives the defender +1 in dodge allowing for better dodge chances.

Nat 1 is a crit fail and usually will do +6 extra damage to the target who failed.

Nat 6 could either be a counter using the damage about to be dealt to them back to the attacker or if they and another entity must roll if they’re next to one another, that nat 6 could be used to let the failed roll of their partner succeed. Or even another entity that failed.
Yup, I understand the combat,
It’s just the rest of the gameplay
