Recap
When the news of a godslayer hit in the middle of a civil war, the Priestess summoned a group of people to deal with the Godslayer. While Ren, Azumi, and Gui travelled from their homes, the same can't be said for Kalsinius and King Emeris who were ripped away from theirs. Down on his luck, Kalsinius arrived in a land where Faerun and Celestial is uncommon. In attempts of someone understanding, Kalsinius tried to speak in Celestial to King Emeris. Celestial was unfortunately similar to the languages of the angels which triggered the king.
King Emeris then threatened to eliminate Kalsinius if he was working with the Archangels. Kalsinius' mother's daedra whispered warnings about King Emeris being a angelkiller and to beware. In attempts to restore order, Ren asked if any group were assigned like they were. Azumi then tried to use her telepathy on Kalsinius to show him visions of a board full of bounty papers, Ren, Azumi and other mysterious individuals fighting against some sort of humanoid entity, with Ren holding the bounty paper in one hand.
She tried to tell him about the danger in the mission in a language she hadn't use in a long time.

Ren Hemmberg wrote:
Azumi took note of Kalsinius' rather simple greeting. He must have been a tourist of Heavenmoor! Though, she always wondered why travellers never first study the language of the locals in order to prevent situations such as this.
Then, she realized she and Ren were assigned a job. Well, one that seemed, to Ren, a terrible idea to do. Well, it wasn't his first time dealing very powerful entities. He proved himself time and time again from slaying werewolves to a dragon.
He reminisced once more, daydreaming with a blank face of those days to keep him calm. That is, until his motherly shikigami pestered him once again.
"Dear, we really must tell them, no matter how vague we must make it" Azumi frowned "the Priestess is in front of us as well, you know! Besides, you're more charismatic than I am!"
Ren groaned and shook his head in dismay. She would never take "no" for an answer, so there was no point in arguing further. So, he stood in the center of this unlikely group of people and began speaking. His voice youthful, yet mature enough for his age, a baritone of some sorts.
"Alright, listen up!" He said before shifting to a softer voice "Me and my Familiar especially were sent on a mission by this priestess. We need to know which of you are assigned to this mission. Can't tell you the specifics unless you know yourself."
Never once did he stutter, Azumi was not wrong when she said he had quite the penchant for speech, though it did not mean he enjoyed talking.
Quite unexpected was the sudden appearance of Azumi by Kalsinius. Ren reached out his hand in concern, though Azumi shook her head. She tried to use her telepathy in an attempt to show Kalsinius visions: A board full of bounty papers, Ren, Azumi and other mysterious individuals fighting against some sort of humanoid entity, with Ren holding the bounty paper in one hand. It was vague, for sure, but enough to convey what they were doing.
With her immense knowledge, she tried to use a language she hadn't used in a long while. It had some semblance to Kalsinius' tongue so she figured it was worth a try.
"Danger... in... our... mission..." she spoke crudely. A bit rusty though, she thought to herself.

(( I'm gonna response soon. ))
Gui simply shook his head in disbelief. This was hopeless, wasn't it? First, the languages that Kal was speaking flew over his head. The Priestess must be the only one who have heard of this king, because he doesn't have any idea who he is.
The citizens of Heavenmoor were kept in dark about other lands. Apparently whatever Kalsinius said, it had triggered the king which later triggered him. The boy, Ren, in attempt to restore order had asked who were assigned to this mission like they were. "I'm from Heavenmoor, and I've traveled these lands many times before. However I don't understand why I, a pharmacist, was a good choice for this job," he said.
Azumi was trying to speak to Kalsinius, and he hoped that the man had some understanding. He wouldn't want to be in a place where he didn't understand anyone. Gui then looked at the Priestess in hopes she will say something.
A far shrine maiden whispered in the Priestess' ear, and the Priestess nodded along. "Silence!" The Priestess shouted with the shrine maiden repeating it in her native tongue of Faerun. The Priestess sounded like she was tired all of this. "I do wished that some of you were able to travel here instead ripped away from your homes," she said while looking at Kalsinius and King Emeris. The shrine maiden soon followed after with her interpretation.
"Welcome to Heavenmoor, my esteemed guests." The Priestess motioned for a guard to pass out a paper to Ren, Azumi, King Emeris, and Gui. It was a few minutes later that guard gave Kalsinius a piece of paper written in Faerun. The guards had already moved away from Kalsinius and were guarding the Priestess.
The piece of poster was a wanted poster with the Godslayer's picture on it. The picture itself was in black and white with a man who looked around in his early 20s. He had unruly, short hair, two moles on each of his cheeks, and a innocent look on his face. Under the picture listed his name as Troy and the reward of a million woolongs or in any other nation's currency to capture him either dead or alive.
"Don't be fooled by his innocent looking face for that is Adam Bradshaw, a demonic war general from the North," the Priestess warned them.
Gui's face was full of dread and looked around to see the others' reactions. They're supposed to go after him! Stories of Adam had practically used as a precautionary tale for basically anyone who traveled near the North.
"He has blonde hair, blue hairs, sickly pale skin, toned, and stands around 5'5," the Priestess tried her best to describe him. Her memory was unusually foggy these past few days. Naoko, the shrine maiden that had been translating in Faerun, noticed the Priestess' fatigue. "Despite being called a demon, Adam is simply a human from a lineage of sorcerers," Naoko said before translating in Faerun.
"The Priestess prefers him to brought to her alive. In the events if you manage to kill him, bring back the body please," Naoko said before escorting the Priestess back into the shrine.

Kalsinius was experiencing too much at once. The man before him was an obvious threat. His mother's reaction to Emeris was palpable, and seemed to add to the stress and fear that he had already felt.
He was in a strange land, with a strange people. Their words flying over his head like birds, or roaming leaves in the wind. Then the only person that could seem to understand him was the very man that his mother was psychically cringing over.
Emeris' Celestial was so strange. As if someone took the words and added emphasis on the wrong syllables, along with changing the pronunciation of others to make them sound like new words. It took effort to zero in on them and attempt to translate or understand what he was saying.
From Emeris addressing him, he understood that the man recognized what he was speaking. "Language of angels, but" what was that word? It was like someone took the vowels and dragged them out. It sounded like, "scarily like" but the structure was formal, which would mean "horrifically like". Then "I mean no harm" or "No Ill will is meant for you" but again, the sentence structure was wrong.
"If you has/have a loyalty to ____Angels, sorry, but you threaten my realm/world/planet, and I would has no choice to end/kill you" That was definitely a threat. He didn't recognize the type of angels he was talking, Solar or otherwise, but it seemed vague enough to warrant preparedness.
He stays in place, but holds his fists up in a defensive stance. That spear the man summoned seemed holy, or slightly less than holy. If it was made with the radiance of the heavens, he should be resistant to it. Meaning the spear's damage would mostly be that of the spear.
He was about to speak when the fox-thing yipped something at him. Something he could understand. Barely. It was similar to whatever Emeris had spoken, but much more garbled. Almost infantile in it's pronunciation, like an adult just barely understanding the beginning lessons, or a child testing the words to their parents.
He does a double take, temporarily caught off guard. "What?" he asks it, incredulous. Then the psychic images flash on his mind, papers, 4 figures fighting something large and humanoid, the man who inspected him holding another paper. He shakes his head, vanishing the images with a force of will.
"Stay out of my head." He gruffed, scowling at the fox before ignoring her and the boy that appeared to be her companion and returning his attention back to Emeris.
"My loyalties are my business, stranger. Not yours. Answer me, who are you?" he says with conviction. He maintains the defensive pose, that is until he hears the langauge of his home land.
He turns to half face the obvious woman in charge, but is surprised when the shorter woman speaks his tongue after the other was done speaking.
He listens to the speech carefully, inspecting the paper given to him. The image there seemed to be a boy even younger than the fox-thing's companion. There was a denotation of currency for capture, or confirmed death. He shakes his head, the title above the image simply read "Godkiller" or "Troy", but then the translator said his name was "Adam Bradshaw" some kind of general up North, affiliated with demons, but is really a sorcerer?
This was all strange, and stuff didn't seem to add up. He would have asked further questions, but then the translator and the woman left. He growls, folding the paper up and pocketing it before picking up his hat.
He brushes is off, and places it on his head. Then he turns back to Emeris. He stalks forward, getting within conversation distance before demanding for a third (and hopefully final,) time in Celestial, "Who are you?"
Emeris glares Kal, his boldness in approaching in what he could only assume as hostile intent doing nothing to ease tensions as the king had so hoped. His language was familiar, it felt and sounded like that of his realms Angels, but somewhat simplified. Regardless, he couldn't simply ignore the man, especially when he began walking forward. Already on edge by the man's presence and words, 2 new spears form in from of Emeris, barring Kal's way forward to the king.
"I am Emeris, the king of Eldoria, and your loyalties are currently my greatest concern. I hail from the continent of Aerune, where the land has been ravaged by war for the last decade. The Arch angels of my land grew corrupt with power and are attempting to wipe out the people of the land. So forgive my caution, but I would prefer that blood not be spilled here."
(Aerune is pronounced Ay-rune, by the way)

Kal mentally dismisses the spears, not fearing them at all. He detects no lie in the words. Despite the legends, you could lie while speaking Celestial. Yet, this man seemed to genuinely believe that the angels of his homeland had corrupted. It seemed impossible.
The angels he met were never corrupt. They were true to their nature, aligned with the deity they swore service to. There were, however, exceptions. His mother's words had become calmer at the explanation. Almost silent even save for one title: Fallen.
The Fallen were a group of angels that did exactly what Emeris said his "Archangels" did. They fell, corrupting themselves for their own ends as opposed to serving the Seven Heavens and their associated gods. Zariel came to mind, as did Asmodeus. There were many Fallen, all of variable ranks. Yet, his version of The Fallen fell literal Ages ago. Before even Mistra had adjusted magic to curb the hubris of mortals.
He closes his eyes and forces himself to relax his posture, and to become non-threatening. It took some effort, but he appeared calmer when he addressed Emeris again.
"These 'Archangels.' I don't know the title. The names for the angels I have are different. One group was called 'The Fallen,' however. Members of the Heavenly Hosts that made the decision/choice to serve themselves. Is that what these Archangels did? Did all the angels fall?" He spoke as simply as he could, save for titles.
It would change things if this was true. The Fallen weren't angels, at least, not anymore. There would be no need to be as aggressive.

(might wanna switch to your character lol)
What is this, Seemingly wanton violence? Azumi started to scold the two despite not fully knowing the language they used.
"No... hurting! Very bad!" Azumi tried to say as she spread her arms wide with her hands raised. It was a signal for them to stop, surely they would both understand?
Ren looked in disbelief at what Azumi was trying to do, scold anything she considered a child even with a language barrier in place. He tried to pull her away from the confrontation out of fear that she may injure herself in the crossfire, yet Azumi sternly looked at him with her small, clawed hands on her hips. He rolled his eyes and simply watched the two.
Azumi then faced Emeris, knowing that the King knew how to speak in common.
"I should hex you for your enthusiastic desire for violence, but I know that it shall only worsen the situation. I am a divine fox spirit known as a kitsune and when one is within your vicinity, cease your fighting!" She proudly stated.
Ren looked distressed, waving a hand to tell her not to go any further, but the fox spirit simply smiled and looked back at Emeris
"For your information, my lord" Azumi smiled "I have no relatiom to the angels you speak of, so while my physical form and the magic I wield is made from a form of holy magic, it has nothing to do with angels!"

Emeris glares at the ignorant fox, a fury igniting within them unmatched by even that of the brief glimpse at the sight of Kal. "Hold your tongue fox spirit. You know not of which you speak, and I will not have you disgrace the memory of good men who have fought and died at the hands of the Angels simply because you believe it to be wanton violence. I care not for your divinity, as it seems divine nature is everyone's downfall. It is not something to be proud of, it is a disgrace and a vile curse one anyone who wields it. The arch angels were good people before their own divinity became their downfall, and I will not have anyone suffer the same fate, so I ask again, Kal, do you serve the Arch Angels of Aerune?"

Gui simply watched as the others threw harsh words at each other except for the kitsune who tried to play peacekeeper. He can give credit that she at least attempted, but it was obvious that Kal and Emeris needed to settle this and swiftly before the group ever hit the road. On Sun Tzu's name, Gui wasn't trying to heal fight wounds after a possible disagreement later on.
The boy was smart by trying to keep Azumi out of this confrontation. Gui, on the other way, eventually got tired of this misunderstanding. "We don't need a grass before breakfast," he said with frustration in his voice. "He hardly can't speak with us. If Kal was with the Archangels, wouldn't he have already attacked you?"
"Now, I'm going to find some more answers about Adam and transportation," Gui said before walking into the shrine. His cane was practically being held in his hand instead of him relying on it.

Kal also looked askance at the chatty fox thing. Her Celestial was hard to understand, but her tone... Was she scolding them? His face changed from a pensive expression to one of annoyance.
Her claims of divinity seemed incredulous, especially with her attitude. Angels could be pompous, but they were never... childish. He discounted her completely, as now the other man seemed enraged by her words. Those weren't spoken in Celestial.
When Emeris spoke to him again, he felt like he was getting a feel for the dialect. He knew what to expect in his words.
"I don't serve your Fallen. Nor do I serve any group of angels. The only one I have any loyalty to is my mother, Lar'Jorathel. Solar of Bahamut."
He gives his mother's title, but doesn't expect it to mean anything to Emeris. Nor does he expect anyone else listening to their conversation to know what he was saying either.
His world had a whole different set of gods, magic, and rules. From what he could tell, the only other person from Faerun was the translator for the holy woman.
No, clearly the only way he can communicate is with the man before him. Much more pallatable now that Kal knew he killed his world's version of the Fallen.
"We were pulled from our worlds without consent. In the jarring nature of my arrival, among other... factors," Kal felt that the presence of his mother's daedra wasn't needed to be mentioned. A sentiment his mother completely agreed with, "I reacted hastily. I apologize for it."
He holds his hand out to Emeris, intending to shake in greeting. He sees the man that inspected him stalk away, but he returns his focus to Emeris.
Play nice, Kal. Make nice. He is the only one who can understand you. He eyes the fox, Well, the only one who can meaningfully hold a conversation. At any rate.

Emeris pauses for a second, taking a deep breath as he allows himself to process Karl's words, struggling to calm his nerves. After a solid minute, his entire body seems to slump down slightly, as of a stressful weight has been removed and he can finally relax a little bit. He makes a small motion with his hand and the golden spears and armor created from his magic disappearing, a further sign of his growing trust. He graciously accepts the handshake, offering a small nod.
"My apologies. It appears that my worlds war has gotten to me more than I originally thought. I apologize for acting with such rash and hasty nature. Do forgive me, if you can. "
